Love the theater, left current production of Midsummer Night's Dream at the interval. Worst production of a Shakespeare play I've seen in some time. Should have gone to the Bridge Dream.

We attended a 7.30 showing of As You Like It (in early September) and enjoyed it quite a bit.
For those wondering, our seats were in the middle on the second floor (~ 55 per person) and had an amazing view. We were in the third row which meant that it wasn't too cold with two rows of people in front of us blocking the wind.
Cushions are a MUST 3 and worth every bit.
The shop did close before the end of the show though; so if you have plans to buy anything do so before the play starts.

What to say. If you love Bardo and understand English, a show is absolutely worth it. However, it is an interesting visit. If possible, visit the interior of the theater. It is very impressive. There is also a shop with everything on Shakespeare.

Beautiful, cold and thrilling. I saw Twelfth Night here most recently with La Gateaux Chocolat and it was spellbinding. Like actually made me wonder around all loved-up and silly for a bit. They re doing stuff that isn t just posh and crusty and it s really working.

Wow!

A wonderfully authentic experience. Sitting on the covered wooden benches, i could see and hear everything clearly, although I was grateful for the cushion that I hired. The weather was perfect, which helped greatly.

Love. It is an unmissable place for any fan of the theater and not to mention Shakespeare. The guided tour is highly recommended and the exhibition inside the theater too. Unfortunately there are no plays to see all year round in the "classic" theater but a few years ago they also opened the other room "Sam Wannamaker playhouse" where a variety of plays are presented. The employees are super cordial and it is impossible not to stop by the store for some alluring souvenir.

Went to see Midsummer Night's Dream and it was hilarious. The cast was great, the characters energetic and lively, and the audience interaction was fantastic. The play was modernised, but still in keeping with the original language and feel. Would recommend this as an evening out whether or not you like Shakespeare. 10/10

Nice place to have a sweet & short cultural immersion. The tour takes 30 Minutes, however it is worth enough, please bring cash to tip the guide guy, they are not paid for the museum

Nice place to see a bit of Shakespeare. Open to the night sky, so it can be a bit cool in winter (better than too hot, though the occasional plane overhead can be distracting). Some seats have slightly obstructed views, but generally you will have a good view of most the stage.
Worth checking out

Went there with the family - teenagers too - and we had great time. The tour was fantastic and the guide was funny, smart and full with stories. Take into account one hour in the museum and another hour and a half for the tour itself. You'll get a view into the 17th / 18th century life style - habits, customs, upper lower class relationship, etc. If our teenagers have enjoyed then surely most people would do too.

The site is nice, but I did not like anything that does not have audioguide to understand the history of this theater, I would have liked to have the Spanish language and there is not so I could not know what the boy said, my bad in that aspect

The Globe is such an institution in London, absolutely a must-visit for theatre lovers and fans of the Bard.
Built after the original theatre Shakespeare wrote for, the Globe just lopks and feels fantastic.
It can be uncomfortable at times, standing for more than three hours or sitting on the small wooden benches. So if you're not sure if you can stand that long, get a seated ticket and bring a seat cushion or back rest with you.
The quality of plays here is simply astounding, I've never been disappointed by a performance at the Globe.

Great tour of buildings and history
We had a wonderful amusing guide who told us backgrounds, stories and anecdotes about the Globe and Shakespear.
Now a summer performance is still missing.
Wonderful , because the stories just made you want this experience

Lovely visit with an "older" group and nothing was to much trouble for them. Guides very knowledgeable and open to questions, and also funny We were on a guide tour and also saw the Rose Theatre.

The building is a careful reconstruction. The tour is fine but they only offer you in English. The visit is short. It is preferable to visit first thing in the morning because there is availability of tickets and to buy it beforehand because for the 15 hours those of the afternoon are exhausted.
