Went there with the family - teenagers too - and we had great time. The tour was fantastic and the guide was funny, smart and full with stories. Take into account one hour in the museum and another hour and a half for the tour itself. You'll get a view into the 17th / 18th century life style - habits, customs, upper lower class relationship, etc. If our teenagers have enjoyed then surely most people would do too.
