Best pizza in capital district. Restaurant Navona is a close second though. I don't even like pizza usually, but when I crave pizza this is my spot. Crispy perfect crust, quality toppings, and very affordable.

Best place in the new Galleria 7 food court. Their pizza sauce is fantastically sweet and the wood fire really brings all the tastes together. On top of the food they have a great variety of local brewed beer that changes frequently!

Really standout pizza. Caputo tipo 00 flour and Bianco DiNapoli tomatoes behind the counter are immediate signs that a pizzeria takes pride in the quality of the ingredients they're using. The product was the confirmation. Light, delicate and properly crispy crust topped by bright, tomato forward, tangy sauce that wasn't the slightest bit sour and not too sweet. Not a real "pillowy" crust like the connoisseurs look for, but not a dense, chewy sponge like so many pizza joints serve up. Think blaze pizza with the highest quality ingredients money can buy and a REAL wood fired oven.

Their one-size 12" pie is a heavy serving for one person, but not enough for 2 by itself. Get one each and plan for leftovers, or one pie with a supplemental salad/wings. Sort of pricey at $1.00 per inch of pie for cheese only. As always, you get you pay for.

WOW! Really love this pizza. As long as you like traditional thin crust- no frills pizza- you MUST try this. Fresh ingredients. DOn't have your cellphone out when you order ;) Feels so authentic. You will not regret it. Great atmosphere in that Galleria food market day or night. Bring all our family from out of town.

Anna's makes the hands down the best wood fired pizza ever! Their food not only tastes amazing but looks amazing. My personal favorite is the Anna which is a classic margherita pizza. Anna's uses the freshest ingredients from their fresh mozz to their dough. The pizzas are a perfect size. I also highly recommend trying their mac and cheese! The staff is super friendly and willing to make your pie exactly how you like. You will not regret coming to Anna's!

Good flavors, but overpriced. Better off going to a place like Blaze. Quality is about the same, which is to say good, and Blaze is $9 compared to $12-15 for the same size pizza at Anna's. Plus Blaze has a land line because it's the 21st century and I'm pretty sure land lines were invented so people could order pizza.

I don't like recommending chains and will happily go out of my way to avoid them, but in this case the place to avoid is Anna's (Overpriced, 17th-century, You-Gotta-Drive-There-And-Wait) Wood Fired Pizza Co.

Sorry my wings were so burned ... they were inedible I am a huge fan of the pizza but there was so much char on wings they looked entirely black unlike the picture on the website. PLEASE GO LOOK! I told the cashier those are burned . I wanted my money back and she was like tell him and pointed to the guy who cooked them. The gentleman who cooked them just said that s how they re supposed to look and boxed them up like it was something edible. It s carcinogen!! Please serve food that makes you proud.
I looked on their website and they do not look like this!

Short review:

Short review:
This pizza is awesome. You have to try it. Start with "The Anna"

Long review:
Being a pizza enthusiastic isn't easy. You constantly crave it and can indulge in almost any kind. You could eat it any time of day and any day of the week. It's most commonly referred to as "bae" or your "one true love." But, most importantly, you consider yourself a true critic of a food that is so simple yet so complex that you must try every pizza place near you in order to find the best. (Waste line increases)

Coming from downstate New York and being a relative of old fashioned Italians from the Bronx, I respect Anna's pizza for a number of reasons but one moreover the rest. It brings us old paesan's some authentic cultural appreciation. When I went abroad to study the Italian language and culture, not that I am an expert of it, I was fortunately able to eat pizza from
Napoli; otherwise referred to as the birthplace of pizza. Anna's pizza delivers the next closest pie to the pizza I had in Napoli here in the capital district. Other pizza places around here can't offer you the same wood fired personal pie to this level of authenticity, in my personal opinion of course.

Granted, I am newer to the capital district, I have yet to try EVERY pizza joint around. However, I love what they have done here and I will be back for more pizza in the near future for sure.

Tucked into the back right corner of the Gallaria ...

Tucked into the back right corner of the Gallaria 7 market at 1214 Troy Schenectady Rd in Latham is a wood fired pizza oven and a team that is creating some amazing pizza.
There's no phone number for Anna's so for take-out orders you are going in person and that's OK because the order to out the door time is pretty fast, I'd say no more than 10 minutes for my order of the Uncle Louie woodfired wings (10) for $14, the White Broccoli $14 and a Chicken Bacon Ranch $16.
I won't go into details shared by others regarding the crust etc but I can say this is a great pizza, we really enjoyed the thin crust and great flavor. The wings are also really amazing, the char and smoke combined with the caramelized onions and a bit of zip from the peppers, so good.
The pies are a bit larger than personal size but I found they reheated nicely if you can't finish it.
Something to consider, given the size of the pies, the price point is high but you will have to weigh that against the pizza.
Definitely give Anna's Woodfired Pizza Company a try.

Great food. The place is a little difficult to find as there is no outside signage. It is in the center of a strip mall in one of the best food courts I have ever seen. Anna's doesn't sell alcohol, but there is a craft beer place in the food court.

Anna's is the most authentic wood-fired pizza place in the Capital Region! No other pizza place compares to Anna's. The ingredients are noticeably FRESH. I've watched the employees shred fresh mozzarella right in front of me. The olive oil used is Partanna, which is top of the line. As well as other quality ingredients, like San Marzano tomatoes. And while you're there, don't forget to check out the local craft beers on tap and wine selection!

Btw, I usually order the Prima (a white pizza, mozzarella, prosciutto cotta, marinated tomatoes, provolone, extra virgin olive oil and shaved parmigiano reggiano) or the Rinaldo (fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce, prosciutto di parma, arugula (tossed in extra virgin olive oil, fresh lemon and Sicilian sea salt) and shaved parmigiano reggiano).

This is my favorite pizza place I've found in the capital region.

Pizza is wood fired as described. The ingredients are fresh, the sauce is delectable, and the crisp yet soft thin crust is the epitomy of what Italian pizza should be.

After living overseas in Europe, if you miss actual Italian wood oven fired pizza, this is the spot to hit up!!!

Thank you and please keep up the good work!!!

Anna's wood fired pizza is a local must visit. I tried out their Giovanni at 15$ tax incl. It was delicious. Their wood fired oven gives the pizza a taste that's rare to come by at your average pizza joint. The size of the pizza was enough for lunch with a slice of two to spare for lean guy like myself. I'd come back here in a heartbeat. Wish the prices were a bit cheaper and the wait time a bit quicker, but the pizza itself is worth it all if you have the time. They have a couple bar stools and are situated in the back corner of the galleria, so don't miss them!

The pizza was very good for sure, maybe the best I've had in the Capital region. The no-phone thing is really annoying though. Their website claims "when it only takes 3 minutes there's no need to call ahead", but both times I've been there I had to stand there for 15-20 minutes waiting.

I MY GOD !!! These guys are great and deserves more than 5 stars !
I m not local, was just passing by. And I m so glad I ve discovered this place. I dig great pizza (especially Napoli style) and know a lot of places all over the states. Those guys are undoubtedly Z BEST. Their Pizza is heavenly delish, baked in a brick oven. And, as I could see, they use only the finest ingredients.
Kudos to the team and the owner !
I will be back whenever I m in the area. Defiantly recommending

Pizza was excellent for wood fired ( Wood fired is not my very favorite style, I generally like a doughier crust not crispy ) And our pizza was ready very quickly. I think it makes you look bad as a business owner however that you will not even give your customer that just paid $15 for pizza a cup of plain water with no ice to fill a sippy cup. I ve even been charged at places for the cup before, $.50 or so and I can understand that, as they are using their materials these can add up. However I m assuming turning on your tap does not cost you money. Basically you re telling your customers you just want them to pay more to buy bottled water and other drinks, which just makes you look petty and is not going to get you more business.

Great pizza and wings! The wings are unique, they wood fire them along with some onions and they are nicely seasoned--definitely worth a try. They also have an unreal house made buffalo sauce that makes for one of the better Buffalo Chicken Pizzas I have had. Highly recommend!

LITERALLY THE BEST PIZZA. It's a great place for lunch. Couldn't recommend it more to anyone.

The flavor the wood fire oven adds to the pizza is UNREAL.

Additionally, the PEOPLE are fantastic. The staff are tentative & are willing to make your pie to your liking.

I have never had a bad experience. I will continue to use Anna's for employee lunch outings & client meetings.
