It is quite an interesting visit, and very recomended for first time visiters in London.

An amazing experience. If you're in London, you owe it to yourself to check out a performance at the Globe.

The Globe is massively uncomfortable. Bring a blanket. The play itself was great, and the space is very cool to see/experience.

What a fantastic experience! We saw the production of Hamlet here and it was the best performance I've seen. Plus, the staff were all really friendly and helpful with giant smiles! The building was really clean and well maintained.

Even not mastering English one hundred percent is worth seeing a performance in this original theater.

The recreation of the theater is quite impressive and the good thing is that it has an impressive sign on the outside with all the work of the season

Very interesting visit, full of informative historical details. Worth a visit. They are totally self funded so show them lots if support and go see this fabulous open air theatre. A really great gift shop with lots of really good items to remember them by.

Unfriendly, unhelpful staff, you can only do a group tour....really dissapoint.

Expensive for a tour, but overall a good choice. I liked seeing the reconstruction and enjoyed the experience. The set design made it look like the stage was covered in moss, but it wasn t really. Our tour guide left something to be desired, however. He was really dry and boring. Like watching cement dry.

Everytime I am thrilled to spent my time at the Globe. Atmosphere, music and the meticulous performances are second to none! I saw many plays, Shakespearian or Non-Shakespearian, in various places and never did I experience something which compares to the stream of joy during a Shakespeare-play at the Globe in a warm summer night with the moon shining from above...

I loved this visit so much. The tour is pretty quick but great hearing the guides talk about the history and the exhibition is extensive. I spent 2 hours in the exhibition part. Well worth it if you like theater or history.

Very special and interesting place, especially for those who love and love good theater.

It didn't exist except in imagination twenty years ago and yet many tourist assume it's been here for hundreds of years

The best theatre in London. Both an indoor and outdoor theatre. The outdoor theatre was reconstructed according to the orginal plans. There are no speakers or lighting, made entirely of wood.
Be sure to take the tour, the tour guides are trained actors and they add SOOO much life into their tour that you will want to go a second time.

The building had a fantastic tour! Everything from the architecture to the history. The tour guide was fantastic, fun, and informative. The building itself was beautiful and I wish I was able to watch a play here. The lobby was awesome, with props and artifacts. There was also some actors who did a demonstration on fake sword fights in plays. Overall it was one of the best tours I've been on.

Go visit midsummer night's eve! Amazing show :) buy plastic raincoats if you will stand in the yard

Really neat venue and absolutely incredible performances! I watched Pericles and was a bit unsure prior to the performance, since I d never heard of this play before. However, I had nothing to worry about - the cast did a wonderful job and the play itself was a delightful mix of drama and comedy. If you get standing room tickets, arrive about 30 minutes early to get a good spot :)

Magnificent tour with detailed (and fun) explanation of the historic Shakespeare theater. Recommended for those who want to learn more about an important part of English history.

Shakespeare is the old days Bob Dylan and it shows.

So my one star is for customer service. Bought tickets via Travelzoo. Arrived and Travelzoo had made a mistake and sent me the same code twice. The lady on the desk was curt and said to take it up with Travelzoo as it wasn t the Globe s problem. It was a Sunday and Travelzoo s office wasn t open. If the Globe chooses to sell through that agent it should have honoured my ticket and taken it up with them themselves. For me it was wasted 3 hour round trip. In hindsight I should have just bought another ticket and tried to get a refund afterwards, but the lady was quite rude and unhelpful so we just wanted to leave. I m sure the attraction is great, but we didn t get to find out.

It was "O-kay", a few too many pretentious 'arty' types there acting as though they knew Shakespeare personally.

Really nice location. The prices are brilliant for a play which so much attention had gone into. The only thing I would say is before watching your should read about the plots as it's very difficult to understand.

Tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. Tour was informative and enjoyable.

If there's a best way to see Shakespeare, this has got to be it. Check out exclusively candlelit productions at the Sam Wanamaker playhouse.

VISITING IT IS AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

it was horrible it smelled like ancient farts and old dog poop plus the reality of all this is there making millions by the day and your losing euros by the night

came here with school, for history gcse. having specified this to the tour guide, he continued to talk to the group about the characters in hamlet. we were booted out the theatre after less than half an hour, the tour guide did not seem to know all that much about the history of the building and kept sidetracking. The theatre itself is a poor replica and did not appear to be historically accurate in the slightest.

Excellent tour that was informative, the tour guide was knowledgeable & very humorous, well worth the money.

An amazing venue. I had such good time watching Hamlet with my friend. Very good experience overall. The only downfall I can find is that some seat are behind poles and this obstructs the view, however it is an open theatre so not much that can be done. Just be careful when booking the seats.

if you want to see a play, you need to buy the tickets in advance
