Awesome guide who really brought it to life for us. She was really funny and knew how to work the group. It was a bit shorter than I thought but would recommend the tour as it was very interesting.

Che Bello reproduced faithfully using the technologies and materials of the era, it took 27 years to rebuild it from 1970 to 1997 thanks to the donations of characters like the Hitchcock family.

Pretty cool experience and beautiful amphitheater. The wood benches make your butt feel like it was on fire. There is a cheap section down in front of the stage where you can stand the entire time. I'm not a Shakespeare lover, so I felt like a moron watching King Henry V. Cool experience overall even though I almost fell asleep.

A classic remodel of the original Shakespeare Theater where his troupe perform his plays. If you like Shakespeare it's 100% north of visit and the tour is really fun would highly recommend doing the tour. The actual museum is a little bit lackluster but the theater itself is gorgeous and would highly recommend.

Marvellous performance! My daughter felt unwell during the show, the stewards were amazing, so helpful. The fire officer was so kind. Honestly they couldn't do enough to help us. Lovely people: the best in London!

I went here a few months ago and it is amazing! The theatre itself is so interesting and there are many things to discover. Although this isn't the original Shakespearean theatre, this rebuilt one is still nice too!

Exceptional guided tour in English; our guide was very theatrical in the explanations stimulating the attention and involving "its spectators" to instruct them on historical facts and details of the structure really interesting.

Any play is good but read the synopsis first if u ain't familiar with the play so u can follow better. Go for the five-pound standing ticket. I hv tried both sitting n standing. The latter is better. If u r vertically challenged like me, go earlier to get a front spot with a clear view of the actors.

Have been here a few times, it is an absolute must for everyone, who's visiting or living in London. Always top quality acting, combined with history and powerful Shakespeare plays.

Very beautifull! It seems to go back to the time of the Elizabethan theater. For theater lovers and of that historical period, a stop not to be missed. The tour lasts half an hour, our "cicerone" who illustrated the historical period in a few minutes, the theater as it had lived at the time compared to today etc. The visit inside the theater lasted a few minutes, in religious silence and without being able to take photos (real shame !!!) because there was a rehearsal of actors in "Hamlet" .... fantastic! The only flaw, in addition to not being able to take pictures inside, the guides speak only English and for those who do not understand it, the visit can be boring.

We saw Love's Labour's Lost in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. It was quite intimate, as you could hear each actor's every breath. You can feel the greatness in this smaller room - the expressions they make as they recite their lifelines, and the confidence in their stomps. The whole room is their stage!

The talent is phenomenal. We quite enjoyed the opening and closing scenes, and the surprises in between. You just never know where they might pop out from!

We've been at The Swan on a couple of occasions, including for Christmas lunch in 2016 and 2017. In 2017 my husband had a surgery before Christmas and he had to be in a wheelchair. I was terrified that I would never manage looking after him properly however everything went very smoothly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent! The view is wonderful - St Paul's Cathedral.
I've got only one complaint. I like my entertainment and the magician in 2017 only turned up for 5 minutes, if that whereas the magician (Lora) in 2016 spent much time to entertain us individually.

Experiencing Shakespeare as it was intended. Went to see Macbeth here - it was an excellent performance. We entered the Globe via the side entrance, and after a quick bag check we went through to a modern foyer with access to the ticket More

For theater lovers it is a must see. Works are usually represented, and there are guided tours that have to be paid. The store is fantastic, there is a lot of super cool merchandise that makes reference to the works of Shakespeare. You can take both a notebook with phrases like Hamlet's skull. Highly recommended
