Incredible show in a unique, fun theater. Don't be too worried when you pick your seats because there are no bad seats in the house.

Just a great place! Cozy, intimate, and awesome. Go if you get chance!
Amazing show! The How and the Why made you laugh and cry. Tod Randolph is a great actor always a joy to watch.
The acting was superb in Friday's presentation of MACBETH, but rewriting Shakespeare to make a point and "modernize" a timeless classic is truly a travesty. I am glad that my grandsons were not with me. To try to explain to them that what they witnessed was not MACBETH would have been difficult at best. I have been enjoying the productions at S and Co. for years, but have now decided that I can no longer trust the MAYBE-Shakespeare and Co. to deliver and will no longer attend future productions.
Love the outdoor theatre in the round. The Tempest was a new experience for me.
The performance was inspiring the setting was almost magical.
If I could post 0 I would. Scarcely intelligible outdoor play with no amplification and young actors who were not trained to project. Like the worst highschool play.
Consistently one of the best theater experiences, Shakespeare and Company are always pushing themselves to find new and creative ways to bring the text to life, not to mention their amazing training programs. I only wish I could get up here to visit more often.
My daughter performed here for her school's play and it was gorgeous! It was cozy, the temperature was perfect. And the lighting during the show was great. Very good experience.
Have seen a number of performances here now and so enjoy the productions. I ve been to Shakespeare fests across America and even worked at one for a time. Quality is great here and each playhouse works to work fresh magic into classic pieces. While this season s take on Romeo and Juliet wasn t a style I enjoyed, the acting was great and I always enjoy fresh air as they utilized an outdoor space. Twelfth Night was beyond superb and we came away with long talks about how well done it was overall. Just got tickets for another show there and we are excited to experience that. What a joy to have such a quality company in great mountain surrounds.
This company boasts an exceptional cast and crew at several beautiful venues. The venues are the Tina Packer Playhouse, the Roman Garden, on the same ground as the Playhouse but outside, and occasionally on The Mount at the Edith Wharton home. All the places are accessible and the staff has been friendly wherever I've gone. The tickets are expensive but the quality is worth the price. You won't find better actors anywhere else.
Perfect night or day activity in the Berks! Be sure to stock up on chocolate at Chocolate Springs while you're in Lenox.
