Went to see HAIR the Musical, the show was good, some of the actors/actresses had stellar voices but I did feel like the tickets were over priced for the vibe of this performance, since it s in a performing arts school. No major costume changes & no change in set, which added the 3 star rating!

Went to see Evil Dead: The Musical and had a great time! The building seems a bit historic which gives it some nice character. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Parking is a little rough because their lot is small, and the immediate neighborhood doesn't really have much else to offer. But the theater is in close proximity to the North Shore, so you have other attractions just a short metro or cab/Uber/Lyft ride away. Would definitely visit again!

The theater is beautiful and I loved sotting in the balcony. The sounds and lighting was phenomenal for the performance. I appreciated that the drinks were in sealed tumblers and refillable during intermission. Great theater and lovely location.

Newsies was AMAZING! The cast was awesome (especially Jack and Katherine, wow!) Such a fun show our whole family enjoyed ages 5-60. Reasonable ticket prices are the icing on the cake! Love PMT!

It was a fantastic show! We saw the musical "Hair" in late January, 2020 and I will not soon forget it! So much energy and enthusiasm!!! When all 40 or so cast members belted out "Let the Sunshine In" at the end it was so moving. Brought tears to my eyes! I could hardly wait to give them a standing ovation!!! We will be back.

My daughter has been attending PMT since she was 3 and she would say it's her "second home". She can not wait to get there when it's time for class, even after 10 years of attending almost every week.

The teachers and staff really do an amazing job supporting and fostering growth in every student. I would highly recommend it to anyone who's child shows any interest in dance, vocal or musical performance.

I think its ridiculous that no matter what they say they never have enough people to work the lines and the wait is usually almost 15 minutes to get to where you're able to fill the belt. And then another 10 to get checked out.

It was a joy to see Pittsburgh Musical Theater s production of Hair . The casting was great and everyone seemed to be really enjoying themselves. I bought the LP in 1968 and saw the Odd Chair Playhouse production in the 70s. So I was very familiar with the music. It was good to see an old favorite performed with such energy and talent.
Thank you for the experience.

The Gargaro is a cool little theater where every seat seems intimate. Avenue Q, directed by Stephen Santa, did not disappoint. Sight lines were good, sound was clear, and the cast was stellar! Loved the place AND the show! Looking forward to the next one!

You can tell the people at this theater actually care about their shows. Every time I have been you see maximum effort. The place is large enough to have a decent crowd, but not too big that it gets overwhelming. The acoustics are great and you can hear/see everything even from the back row.

The show, Hair, was wonderful and I love the "reasonably priced" tickets! I had first seen Hair over 50 years ago at the old Nixon Theater; I remembered all the words to the songs! Truly enjoyed the performance!

Saw Evil Dead the Musical last week - first time at this theater and we had a fantastic experience. It has a charming community theater vibe, but the production values are tremendous. Cast, crew, sets, music, and the facility in general... everything exceeded my expectations. Very impressed.

PMT s production of Newsies was consistent with the high caliber quality entertainment we have come to expect from them and we didn t have to pay $150+ for a ticket, both some of the many reasons we have remained season subscribers since it began as Gargaro Productions. Here, here!!

Great energy and candid installations. I attended a sort of "open house" event where some performances, rehearsals, and classes were opened to the public. Looking forward to watch my first show here in a couple weeks.

Wow!! I saw "In The Heights" there! A BIG show in a small, intimate theater...right in my community! Seating was close, but comfortable. The sound was very good. This particular production was excellent!!!! I thought the ticket was a bit pricey for a small theater, but for that caliber of performance...worth it!! I'll definitely go again.
