Sembawang Shipyard Review

Well it's a ship yard. A functioning and dangerous construction site. Safety first

There is nothing there accept a clubhouse for police force personnel

Doing the best they can. Impressed by the ability to organize thousands of workers.

Good atmosphere ,cultured people, safety and environmental and nearly close to city's.

Working shipyard very busy admittance only to certain people.

This is repair shipyard,for foreign workers very difficult to survive.Out side foods not allowed inside yard.Company having more rules for detecting salary of workers.

One of the huge shipyard located in Singapore. You need bicycle to travel around in this shipyard. Very well maintained and organised

Personell in yard are great to work with and very willing to assist where the can.

This yard looking outside good but inside the yard many ruppesh not clean area

It's great if your the client, not so great if your a sub contractor for the last couple of years, their contract department now delays payment for more than 3 months.

This is one of the best shipyard that I have visited.

Very busy area must take precautions before entering

Facilities are excellent and space is quite available, however are more a shipyard for vessell maintenance and repairs, ship construction, not really specialized in FPU, FPSO and topside. I had many doubts about the manpower efficiency during my visit. However generally is acceptable but the management has the main rules to aim more positive results.

Pretty well organised and good amounts of labour resources. Not quite up to Australian OHS standards though but certainly better than some other places.

Here safety is good but this shipyard is everyday wasted 2.5 hours from each workers. Long Q in Gate No: 3 for change pass go in time and come out time.

This is a yard with very rich history of early shipbuilding. You will find very old machinery in their workshop dated back to WW2. The yard has been in the shop repair business with occasionally engaged into ship conversion project and also Topside modules for FPSO.

One of the best shipyards in Singapore. Lots of familiar faces here.

I was there and the facility is up to crew members satisfaction. Also it was easy for the ship crews to go around the city.

It's a ship yard under the semcorp marine group it was opened during the period of British colony in Singapore it's is also known as Sembawang ship yard...!

Very special experience, just too little time for land travel

I have been to this shipyard many times. It is one of the best I have been to.

Sailed from this port but looks very nice and tidy as is Singapore.... X

It's a great shipyard. Been there many times for work. The personnel building and restoring the ships are highly qualified.
