The acting was superb in Friday's presentation of MACBETH, but rewriting Shakespeare to make a point and "modernize" a timeless classic is truly a travesty. I am glad that my grandsons were not with me. To try to explain to them that what they witnessed was not MACBETH would have been difficult at best. I have been enjoying the productions at S and Co. for years, but have now decided that I can no longer trust the MAYBE-Shakespeare and Co. to deliver and will no longer attend future productions.
