Conference room i was in was crazy hot. They said they couldn't control the temp in it. (1 ) large room with thermostat. Several dividers making other rooms within this one. Our group of 68 people had seat running off them so a few in another area was comfortable.

It's is where we got married and we go every year even though we live here now!!! It just gets better and better

Great location that is conveniently located near my home making it great for weekend drinks with my wife. Friendly staff and considering the area, food and drinks are fairly priced.

I was there for a convention event. The facility was nice, there was ample room within the conference area and bathrooms and parking were easily accessible.

The hotel and resort had great amenities friendly staff great restaurants easily accessible to all the local activities

Another great place in Ponte Vedra Florida, The House O Hockey in Murrysville Pa (Pittsburgh) Retail Hockey equipment store.

Typical Marriott property. Couple of good restaurant selections but the lobby bar closes too early. Rooms are similar to other Marriott rooms.

Seriously beautiful hotel, great service, cannot complain

Came for the MathCounts competition so we got a free room. Can't complain about the room prices too much. Nevertheless, the food and service is not the best, and some of our group members had to switch rooms because of leaks, live bugs, and sewage smells in rooms. The restaurants are ridiculously overpriced (even the Starbucks was more expensive than its ridiculous usual) and the coaches who didn't get free meals found ourselves paying $35 for a meal consisting of a roast beef sandwich, an apple, and a cookie (for example). The lobby is not at ground level, and so there are rooms both above and below the lobby level. Needless to say, the elevator traffic was hectic and unnecessary, and we found ourselves having to take a trip from the lobby up to floor 5 and back, and hoping nobody else got on our elevator who was going up, just to get to floor 1.

Overall, this was not a very fun experience and despite the semi-friendly staff, it is not nearly as nice as it is made out to be. If we were required to pay the normal fee of over $300 a night for the room instead of getting a free one from MathCounts, this would definitely be a 1 star review.

Beautiful hotel. We started in a villa suite which was very nice. A little dated, but great for a family. We had lunch in the pub in the hotel which was very good. Tons of stuff to do; pool, mini golf, kids lounge, and lots of scenery.

My only complaint is that the only hot tub they have is on the fenced in spa patio, which closes at 7pm and doesn't allow children. Our family just wanted to relax in a hot tub under the stars. My 6 year old even enjoys hot tubs or you could could put one out by the pools so she could splash in the shallow "baby pool". I feel like a hot tub is part of what makes or breaks a vacation for me because I have chronic pain and want to wind down after a fun day of activities.

The property is beautiful but the service is not 5 star. I'm here for a company event. Mix-ups on the reservations. Room doors didn't lock. Security was unresponsive to someone trying to get into the wrong room.

Beautiful spot close enough to the beach. Access to quite a few restaurants within walking distance. Very nice convention center for smaller functions.

Nice place if you like golf. Stayed here as part of a family wedding. The hotel certainly had amenities... But as I don't golf I felt most of the amenities were wasted on me

Nice resort, associated with the PGA golf course, has a convention center as well. Staff was friendly, parking included (except valet). The retention pond looked a bit too algae overgrown for my comfort (mosquito breeding ground?). The room was nice and clean, although the carpet bothered my sinuses a little. The bed was comfy with overhead reading lamps and the furniture were adequate (current technology). Within a few blocks of a beach area and a short drive to a beach area with shops and a "boardwalk". Several good eateries in walking distance. Standard price slightly over, but good value for special discount pricing. I would return.

We went for Easter brunch. The food was good but we made 12noon reservations and had to wait 30 minutes for our table... The staff didn't really seem to care.

Really nice place and convenient amenities such as a place to go to the beach and have a place to park and enjoy the day with a pool and bar. I have it 4 stars because our room didn't get very cool.

I ve never stayed in this resort but I ve nanny d for their guests with children. I highly recommend this resort if you have children because they have a great facility for the kids. There s a playroom with lots of toys and videos, one wall is like a big chalk board, a miniature golf course, nice pools and shady areas to walk around because of the big beautiful trees. Their food is also pretty good. Starbucks and drinks in the bar area are resort prices. So hirer than normal. It s a beautiful resort with awesome friendly staff.

Great Service! Stayed here for a few days and was blown away. The staff is extremely helpful and there are plenty of fun activities around the resort. I plan on coming definitely coming back.

True brilliance of convention Center resort dining Beach experience yummy lobster rolls while chilling by the pool on the beach. Needless to say very much fun.

Very beautiful property in Ponte Vedra. The rooms were a little smaller than my family is used to (2 full size beds), but very clean/neat.

Beautiful property but the rooms at the villas are complete outdated. Checked in first in the room at the villas it was smelling musty and it looked awful. No view and the patio was very dirty. It is a complete rip off for 250$ a night the room.
Our new room room was ok since it was in an another building.
Once we checked in, we found hair in the bathroom. The table in the living room as well as the night stands were dirty. You could see water drops and water rings on the furniture. Before we checked in we called the hotel and we emphasized that we wanted to have a clean room. And we got hair in the bathroom and dirty tables as the result. Awesome.
Even if you call and ask for towels they will ask you exactly what kind of towels you would like to have but at the end you will get random towels anyway. At the end they rise the expectations but they are not able to deliver.

Attended a lovely event at the Convention Center. No complaints. The open bar and dinner was wonderful.

Very nice looking grounds, staff was very friendly, prices are a little steep, but it is a resort. Only real complaint was that due to the way the conference selected rooms, we couldn't change / ask for rooms, and my girlfriend and I ended up sharing a small bed.

Beautiful resort, accommodating staff, lots of activities to enjoy on the property or in the surrounding area of Jacksonville.

Great location and loved the beach access. To bad the had a kitchen fire. Oh well not their fault.

The facility is very nice and the people were fantastic, but cold showers in am and inconsistent temps in the rooms made for a less th an desirable situation...
Was there for a conference so we were stuck...
Rooms are in need of some repairs as well... the room two down had raw sewage in the room on the 4th floor!!!
I would consider some other option in the area...
Marriott did offer a 50 credit for the stay, but that was not really worth it

Beautiful grounds but the rooms are very, very small and woefully outdated.
No working ice machines in the building either.
Bigger rooms on the Ocean cost the same so don't waste your $$ here.

You need to update the hotel to justify your rates.

Place is ok, food should have been better, really LOUD music played in the main lobby late at night and early in the morning. No Tesla/EV charging onsite like you would expect from a nice hotel. Grounds are pretty with a nice gym.

The staff are top notch! I have never been better waited on than while I stayed at the Marriott Sawgrass! My In-laws and I ate at the restaurant downstairs and even though it was about 4:00 p.m. our server was very attentive and willing to meet our ever need. Our food came out very fast and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was... Nothing felt rushed. The next day we had a relaxing lunch by the pool... Again our server was always accessible but never hovering. I know they just underwent a huge renovation but really the building was only so much the staff were what added value.

Joined spa for a trial period. Staff friendly but frequently would rush to close before advertised closing time. Sauna and steam rooms often out of service.

Not perfect, but what is?

The property is very nice, and we found all the staff very helpful during our stay. The AC was not working in our original room and we were swapped without trouble. Also our room was originally a double, but was upgraded at no cost by the clerk at check in, without requesting it.

The resort fee is $22 a day. They did have a nice shuttle service which we only used once to get to and from the beach club. You also get Internet service for that fee, and it did include a free appetizer in the lobby bar area, still it seemed steep. However we got the room significantly lower than the usual advertised price even if the resort fee is included, so overall it was well worth it.

As usual all on resort prices are jacked up. As if Starbucks wasn't costly enough already. The food and drinks at the Cabana Beach Club were not nearly as good as the price was high. The drinks were weak for $9.00 a pop. The club area and beach access are very nice though. You can't bring anything in, so if you want to make a day out of it you either have to pay the Piper or leave and return. They do at least provide water for you, but nothing fancy in that regard. Other places we've been have had nice fruit infused water poolside, not here.

Overall we very much enjoyed the time spent here, and would definitely come back.

Stayed in the villas, spacious, well appointed, contemporary suite with a very large deck overlooking water and nature scenes. Great evening time in pub. Extensive breakfast buffet with chef to make omelets, to salmon and capers, and all nourishments in between. Definitely would stay again. Staff were professional, courteous, and helpful.

Nice grounds and area, lousy bed and bedding, hard to get help at night to fix bedding issues.

I treated my best friend to a girls spa day here recently & have been here many times prior. During this recent visit the pool lounge worker was extremely rude and wouldn t help us at all during our 3 hours at the pool. He walked around helping others and ignored us. We even went the walk up window to order twice and was ignored. Secondly, my massage with Kenny was so painful I actually had to seek out a chiropractor for the first time in my life to fix my extreme lower back pain. I ve never once had any back pain until after my service there. I ll never go back.

Management has since called me back to apologize and make things right. I truly appreciate this level of customer service and will give them another try.

If you are into golf, it is a great place to stay and play around the area.

This is the worst hotel ever! I travel around the US and around the World for work and pleasure and this hotel by far takes the CRAP award! I was excited to see it since it's a famous golf location and came here this month with my Company. The first night I arrived at 5PM and they didn't have a room ready, yes 5PM! I had to be ready for a function at 6PM. So after traveling from Seattle to Florida I had to wait another 25 minutes for a room. That was just the start. That night I got into bed and was really itchy. I could understand why, has. Ever happened so I called downstairs to let them know I would need the sheets changed in the AM. Maybe I'm allergic to the detergent who knows. Then the fridge made a noice all night in the room. Well the fridge was the last of my worries for the second day I developed bites all over my body! Why, well because they have bed bugs!!!!! Disgusting. Not to mention a lady was screaming crying fighting with her partner the whole night from 3-4:30 am! I had to call security twice. I left the hotel the next day and went to the doctor when I got home. Had to treat everything including myself for the bugs! I would never stay here or another Marriott again unless you want a Hostel type stay! No thank you!

Stayed in room 227. View of the grounds was very nice, room was clean. Hotel is gorgeous, with a very grand entrance. And, best of all, it is right next to TPC Sawgrass, the main reason for our vacation!

Place is spectacular. Everything was perfect. Service is top notch.
