I was at an architects convention a few weeks ago. I was in their lot from 11:00am until 7:30 PM, when I arrived to my vehicle the entire drivers side was gouged with a KEY. The BUTT-HEAD vandal went up and down the front wheel well making sure to cause the most damage possible. I called their front desk, they put me in touch with their security department. I was surprised they had security, I never saw them patrolling the parking lot! The end result is a big "sorry", but we are not responsible for anything!! I told them, I am 50 years old, and have NEVER been KEY'D!.....I would have probably been more safe parking at K-Mart or Walmart!
IF YOU HAVE A NICE VEHICLE, BEWARE!!!!

As a female business traveler, I didn't love the villa room set up. I would have much preferred to be in the tower, especially as the villas open to the outside (no hallway or security) and the resort was sparsley populated. It was slightly unnerving.

We were attending a wedding for a good friend of ours. My wife and I had a great time. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. We had family and friends staying in the villa and they were very nice as well. Overall it was a great time and I highly recommend this Marriott for any occasion.

Not a resort fan in general but had a great stay.
Great place to relax for a few days during a non busy part of the year.
No advantages to be a Marriott Platinum so will try another property next time...

I have to say, we had some noise issues early on in our stay but the manager worked efficiently and quickly to resolve those issues and we have had a few minor inconveniences mainly related to covid restrictions (cashless property) BUT I have to say the villa was perfect with parking right in front of it (easy unload considering we have bicycles and lots of luggage) the staff (everyone from the manager to the ladys at the towel/put put hut have been so nice and accommodating. This property is super safe with a great location next to a Publix, stores and restaurants including ABC. To top it all off they have a wonderful beach club to spend the day, it has been too cold to fully enjoy but still gave us hours of fun and a change of scenery all included with the room! I will definitely come again and recommend to everyone!!

The main lobby it's beautiful with large window and amazing views it's really a sore to see. The rooms are perfect and there is so much to see and do right in location. The just recently added a wave pool for surfing tons of fun!

The customer service is wonderful! I was sad because I didn't make it to Starbucks in the lobby before they closed, for my afternoon coffee. I asked the front desk for just one packet of coffee for the coffee maker in the room. Less than 5 minutes later, the nicest gentleman brings a bag with a handful of coffee packets, and all the fixings in case I didn't drink my coffee black.
The view from our room was great, and the room was clean.

This hotel is beautiful! It located close to everything and has great amenities. Staff is friendly but I must say Zach is my absolute favorite. He goes above and beyond and cares about making your stay the best it could be. He s truly a gem!!

The valet staff was awesome when I checked in. They helped me find self parking. The room was larger than most hotels. The rooms and convention center was close to each other. This made going to my event very easy.

The massage was wonderful. The staff could have given better instructions of the lay out of the spa. The pool was full of leaves and the area looked dirty. The sauna was not hot. The steam room and Jacuzzi were nice. The supplies for bathing and drying hair etc was nice. There was only one changing room in the locker area.

Did you know who was the inventor of the Cocktail Pina Colada? It was a formal Crew Member from the Bar in the Sawgrass Marriot and the private Barkeeper of the Onassis Family.
The Hotel is a great and quit Place for Golfer and only 30 minutes by car from the airport.

Was treated to this resort as a surprise getaway for my birthday. Great location and great service. Massage service at adjacent spa was heavenly. Bus service to and from the beach with never a long wait was great. Drinks at one of the bars were kind of pricey due to the amount of liquor in the drinks but I would have preferred taste over strength of alcohol content.

Perfect place for anyone who is willing to buy. The place is huge, so go with time. Depending on the amount of purchases, better carry a suitcase. Parking is great and there are good food options. Local easy access.

Overall a nice hotel property. Rooms are decently updated and average sized. The service at this hotel could be improved. Especially as it relates to the treatment of Marriott rewards elite members. This hotel is classified as a resort property, so be prepared to pay a resort fee and be charged for services which are ordinarily complimentary at Marriott hotels.

Spa Review: Steve and Bjon are great hosts however the locker room facilities are in need of attention. The steam room has not been working for weeks and in my opinion the shower/hot tub/sauna steam areas are in need of regular deep cleaning. Will post pictures soon.

Do not waste your money. You would be better off staying at a Holiday Inn Express. This Resort is classified as a 4 star hotel, but the rooms are outdated and the staff will treat you like a burden. Before we arrived, my wife called and asked to ensure we were grouped with the wedding party we were with and they told us to just let them know when we arrived that we were with the wedding and it wouldn t be a problem. My wife checked in and they told us that they couldn t put us with the Wedding group because we booked directly with Marriott, instead of the third party site that was for the wedding party... that s fine, but that s not what she was told on the phone 2 hours earlier.. no big deal we will get over it....When my wife gave them a credit card for the stay, it was not scanning after multiple attempts and then the concierge got frustrated with her because it wasn t the card they had on file. As if that matters... you didn t ask for the card on file, you asked for a card. Don t get mad because you didn t ask for the card used for booking and apparently that s the one you needed... If that wasn t enough, there come the resort fees... the fees cover virtually nothing. You can use the gym, but you can t use the locker room, because that is a spa service . Not only can you not use it, it is guarded by a employee to ensure no one that hasn t paid the spa on the way in can be in the locker room. You get access to high speed WiFi with your resort fee, but it s a public unsecured network that s available to anyone. You can play mini golf but the course is covered in debris and is not maintained at all. You d be better off driving and paying to play at a local mini golf. You can chip balls to a floating green, but it cost $10 per 10 balls . You can sit outside and enjoy the gas fire pit, but the wicker patio chairs don t have cushions and the fire pits are rusted and not maintained at all. You can watch any of the many TVs mounted in the Lobby areas, but only 1 is turned on and it happens to be the one that is washed out and mounted crooked. You can watch tv in your room, but not anything on FOX because that channel is not available . You can watch a handful of other channels, but only in standard definition. You can check out the many pools that are available, but you can t find one that isn t covered in leaves & debris. I understand mistakes happens and that hotels can (and should) charge extra for some services, but if you are going to charge resort fees you should at a minimum clarify what is included in those fees rather than just list everything that your resort has to offer in an attempt to mislead the guest into believing they are included. I expect a four star hotel to at a minimum have a welcoming staff and clean and functional amenities, but Marriott fails to come close to that basic standard. I ve stayed at 2 star hotels with more to offer.

We call this the Poor man's Phuket. The resort is very nice. A lot to do. We played the mini golf, went swimming, went to the beach club, played the lawn games, we ate a few of the hotel restaurants. I had a very enjoyable mini break. I only wish the housekeeping service was a bit more en point. There didn't seem to be enough workers to get to all the rooms in a timely manner, also there was a lot of plant debris that was never cleaned up from our balcony and the walkways. Considering the yucky tap water, more bottled water would also be nice.

I would give this place zero stars if possible. Horrible customer service, horrible me security, horrible management. If you want to have a miserable time, and get treated like absolute dirt, come to the Marriott Sawgrass.

We love this place, and visit every few months. This past weekend, we had two rooms and there were 5 of us. Everyone really takes care of you, and many of the staff have been there for years, but Patrick, one of the managers, always makes sure we have everything we need. When you check in, they provide free internet and beverage coupons. Love the Starbucks on sight. Love the Cabana Beach Club. I'm sorry my mom missed this trip due to health issues, because we had an AMAZING time. We will be back, again and again.

Good Food, nice location, shuttle available most of the time to take you to the beach. I had only one bad experience; the shower head was moldy I think it made me sick. However, when I asked them to replace it on the third day, they did. I didn't give it five stars because I thought the room and bathroom could have been generally cleaner during my stay (1 week) considering this is a Marriott Hotel.

The staff acted like we were an inconvenience, they should close the hotel. The are too fearful of people and the virus, the were unprofessional in every way, including their attire. They missed an opportunity to make our experience better in light of the health circumstances that s what the hotel business is. No music in lobby, no food or snack suggestions. VERY uninviting. I wish they would have closed, it would have been better. Never again, she even stated we re just weird out here in Ponta Vedra were very short staffed but will try to help you if you need anything. $100+ night plus 17 parking, and poor management.
