Harrah's Metropolis Casino Review

This was one of the worst night at Harrahs. Lost
300 dollars. Didn't give you a chance to even play awhile. What does it take to get a jack pot.I've have played plenty of money but I have yet to receive one.

What and awesome experience I had here. Very wounderful casino and motel. If you are ever in the area you have to come here you will have the best time ever. Ive had many great experiences here only been here two times and the rooms are so very clean. The beds are so very great for your back come here and check it out you wont be disappointed. You might even win.

I didn't see anyone winning? Not even a little playback money.

When I go I always end up leaving with more money then I went in with. Oh and I like that they have newly remodeled rooms!

Only disappointment was there "Fresh" Buffet. It was terrible! The name of buffet do not mach with a food they serve. There was completely nothing to eat. At every single station food looked terrible. It took me a while to figure out what kind of meal is this, when I was looking at lasagna. Prime rib was horrible! Quality of food is very very poor. I would say there is no quality at all. Today's people pay more attention to eating healthy, quality food compared with 20 years ago. The Harris buffet still in 90's. We all left hungry and without $25 in a pocket.

Harrah's Metropolis is a great place to get away for a quick trip. The machines are tight but not impossible to win a few bucks. The hotel and casino staff are friendly and ready to help. The rooms are super nice and always clean.

It has been well over two years since I have visited this facility. Had a wonderful experience and the new Harrah's Metropolis Casino is absolutely gorgeous. Will definitely be making another trip soon!

Not a bad place to stay when you traveling through the area. Clean and reasonably priced. We have stayed there a few times passing through the area.

Fun place to spend a couple of hours & good buffet.

Great hotel, I stay here 3 weeks a year to work in the local power plant. Very comfortable. Would have given 5 stars but their water is like bathing in Olive oil.

Room was clean and it had everything I needed for my overnight stay.

The buffet is not the same they have a lot of new games I hit a little bit but other than that it was just to get it out call Saturday

The casino slots were not paying the staff were very nice and courteous

Don't forget "resort" fees added to your bill and keep in mind while rooms have a refrigerator there's no microwave in the regular rooms so if you have leftovers or intend to stay a few nights, be sure to not get your heart set on being able to spare your pocket if you want a hot meal of leftovers. The rooms are clean, ALL inside corridors is a big bonus, friendly staff, and round the clock security are what this hotel truly has going for it, even if you're not stopping in to play. Slightly higher rates than I would expect to pay in the absence of a microwave for this area. I'd stay again, but it could use the minor updates to truly make it what I'd deem to be fairly priced. Safe.

We visited the casino and had a great time. It's very clean and well kept. The staff was friendly, and we even won on the slots!

Great spot. Good service. Just not many dining options due to Coronavirus precautions.

Harrah's Hotel is back in working order we ate the buffet it was wonderful everything was all cleaned up and dry I don't know how high the water got but you couldn't even tell there was any in there at all the water though the food was delicious hot I had the salad and all everything else and for dessert I had lemon meringue pie and the best bread pudding I believe I've ever ate was really good. Then machines we're not very friendly though we spent some money didn't get any back but they'll use that money to finish their job keeping things clean it's really really nice place to spend time. Lots of fun. Played for hours on minimal amount. Table minimums not too high

The band was great. Games were fun all around fun experience.

Nice clean hotel, friendly staff. I didn't win anything, therefore I gave it 4 stars.

Small casino compared to Mississippi ones, but nice. Very courteous staff and machines were all in working order. We went on a Saturday so machines were a little limited due to the crowd, but it wasnt terrible. Food was a good at the buffet, not a huge selection but we got the brunch and for $16.99 you couldn't beat it. Dessert bar was on point!! All in all a good day trip, we drove from Tennessee and it was well worth. Dont waste your money in Corrthersville, drive a little further and make it count.

I love going here. Always have good time love playing slots, don't spend a lot do win. Also win prizes, nice room really good food at steak house. Very friendly staff. Nice gift shop.

Not very impressed.... Poor selection of machines at the bar..... I don't know why everybody thinks it has to be video poker..... Very few people were playing them machines... I would like to see nickel Keno of different varieties Four card and multi card with some type of bonus rounds... They also seem to serve a very little shot in other words very weak drinks

Great place to stop and visit if your traveling or just passing through. Lots of fun card games and slots, friendly staff, and good drinks. Clean environment and nice comfy hotel. The food at bridges steakhouse is great!!! The bands on Friday and Saturday nights are always a great time. Forget to bring spending money? The friendly cashiers are always ready to help and really friendly too.

Very nice destination with lots of parking, great hotel and a very clean gaming area. No more boat so the casino is on a bardge with high ceilings. Non smoking in the entire facility is also a great plus.

A bit less than we had hoped. Service was very poor at the restaurant/bar. We were told they didn't have enough servers so we couldn't be served unless we sat at the bar. Very loud. However, the bed was very comfortable.

Easy access, great self parking, friendly staff and decent gaming

Noisy kids in next room at 11 pm. Called front desk, but it did not help. Front desk girl was no help, couldn't find a supervisor. Packed up and left. Disputed charge.

Staff very apathetic. Room was marginal.. definitely NOT 4 stars. Fake eyelash was left in a cup in the bathroom??? The wood in the coffee table, very badly deteriorated - needs replacing. Seems sort of rundown. Will NOT be back, especially at those prices.

I'll be coming back to stay here for sure in the near future. The staff is pleasant and the restaurant food tastes fine.

Since I stayed there for the first time, I was unknowingly redirected to a smoking room instead of a non-smoking room of what my Dad ordered. If this was the place I had, then this was the hotel some employees weren't careful of.

Went recently on a Saturday night to hear an all-female band (The Brauds), who friends had seen the night before and had so much fun! Great atmosphere with nothing but a good time possible! The enthusiasm from the audience was clear when people were dancing and singing along, and players from the casino floor were drawn to the stage area, too! Now that I know Harrah's Metropolis has so much more than slots, we'll likely go back more regularly. ***PS: These women are my heroes!
