Stayed in a villa and they were pretty nice. Amazing pools they were warm spacious. Plenty to do and see there. Didnt eat in the restaurants but they looked really great. Staff was super friendly and helpful as well. Definitely worth a stay. I will be back for sure.

I would like to give them 2.5 stars, but I'll round up. The hotel is fine, but there are some management issues. Like the pool closes at 11, but I was kept awake until 1:30am by rowdy drunks partying at the pool. And the 'do not disturb' sign is ignored by housekeeping. The woke me up early in the morning, knocking on the door. Some of my family stayed at the One Resort up the beach, and I would rate that higher. The only downside there is that the bathrooms are real small, and you need to figure on paying $25 for valet as it is in a popular area, but otherwise it is very nice, with lots to eat and do around the hotel. For example, there is fantastic Italian restaurant a block from the hotel. If you want to be away from the beach (but still around lots of people) , or you play golf, then the Sawgrass might work for you, otherwise I would go with the One Resort.

Nice enough but because they call themselves a "resort", you don't get concierge level benefits, newspapers, and the privileges of Plat Elite. Not sure what makes this a resort but it's definitely like a hotel to me

For the money, not even on the level of what I expect from a "newly remodeled" Marriott resort. We chose this property for a girls getaway and the advertised beach club and proximity to the beach. No hot tub for an evening dip, no concierge lounge, 45 minute wait for a shuttle back from the beach club, leaky toilet and faucet that drops and drains noisly all night, TV and power panels and lamps not working in the room, A/C that 3 days in has not cooled the room down to the selected temperature. The valets hustle, but no where near enough of them for the demand. The pictures on the website paint a picture of a property much more luxurious than what you get. The grounds and lobby area are beautiful, but it's a lot of small things hurting the overall rating. The Spa and Beach Club are also advertised and pictured as extremely luxurious, however, the amenities don't rise to the level of other similarly advertised Marriott's for the price.

Overall, I feel pretty bait and switched on this property and I am a Platinum Marriott loyalist.

Had a problem with unsanitary bedding and had to change it myself the first night. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay. Friendly staff, amenities were abound. Beautiful grounds . Very quiet, near restaurants and boutique style stores. Valets and bellhops are almost a must as parking is not close , and they resist allowing you access to a luggage cart. Plenty of area for strolling beneath moss draped oaks . Also a spa , restaurant, bar, Starbucks and logo store on site. A bit of a long wait to get checked out as well. We wouldn't recommend Independence day, because almost all restaurants in the are are closed as well as stores, etc.
THIS IS A STUNNING RESORT.

All in all a very nice hotel. Room was clean and spacious and aside from the odd bathroom doors nothing negative to mention at all. Check in/out was fast and easy and the breakfast buffet was as expected. Very close to the TPC courses, which was why we were there, so thumbs up all around.

The beds were very comfortable and the resort is beautiful. I had an issue with the A/C in my room. Even though I had it set to 68, I still woke up sweating. The shower head had a lot of calcium build up, as well as some yellowish spots in the ceiling above the shower

Attended a conference. The staff was very professional and the food was amazing. Our room was very clean with comfortable beds. Wish there was a microwave and a hair dryer. Other than that we had a great experience.

We attended a conference and stayed in one of the "villas" which had two beds and a bathroom. Due to the group rate we got a discounted rate of about $130/night when the regular price was supposed to be about $300/night. The villas seemed old and could use a bit more maintenance.

Cleanliness - We had to change our rooms because the first room was not up to my cleanliness standards. There was hair on the bathroom floor and stains on some linens and some other issues. The next room was better, but could still have been more clean considering the price.

Space - Our space was really tiny for the amount we spent. There weren't enough tables to put our luggage on.

Amenities - Pretty much everything was pay as you go. The internet cost $12 for 24 hours. Our "villa" didn't have a microwave or refrigerator. No complimentary breakfast (by the way food at the hotel is very expensive and highly overated, but if you go down the street there are some restaurants with decent prices. For our group dinner and breakfast buffets we had to pay $50/person and $30/person, and the quality of the food was merely average.)

Service - The hotel, I must admit, was very helpful and responsive when I told them about our not-clean-enough room. They did fairly well in the service department, which is why I gave 3 stars instead of 2. They didn't seem to have any of the right times for the events, though and a number of people from our party were showing up at the wrong time to events.

Facilities/environment - the grounds were really beautiful. Watching the sun rise over the ponds and watching the wildlife was fun. Beautiful setting.

Overall, I would not stay there again, even if we could get the $130/night price unless it also included a refrigerator, microwave, Internet access, more cleanliness and complimentary breakfast. I definitely would not stay there if we had to pay more than $130. The "villa" is just a really poor value for the money. (It was particularly frustrating since we had also recently spent time in the Gainesville Sleep Inn which was cleaner, more updated, had twice the space, a refrigerator, microwave, free internet and complementary breakfast and was also $50 cheaper per night.)

I stayed at the Sawgrass resort over the course of a few days for spring break with family. I had a wonderful experience, with the bountiful lot of amenities available! The pools and close beach club were well maintained and comfortable, and the staff was pleasant. Even during spring break, there weren't too many occupants, so the stay was very comfortable. I would recommend to anyone who wants to golf, or just have a relaxing visit.

Stayed here for the weekend in one of the stunning corner suites. You don t have to leave the property at all: there is the spa with steam room/sauna/whirlpools, a large heated pool with bars, grass sports like ping pong & shuffle board, a full on putt
-putt course for guest, and a fitness center. The grounds are stunning and extremely well-maintained. The breakfast buffet was one of best I have had at any Marriott, and the sous chef who was from Tennessee and had been there for 16 years was freaking phenomenal sorry we forgot your name! This is a must-stay for any fellow Marriott junkie.

Nice hotel, had a lobby room with lagoon view. It was rather loud at night with 2 bars below and loud groups really making it difficult for sleeping. The resort is on the TPC STADIUM course and provides transportation to all the local courses.

This is a very nice place to stay if you want to pay the cost. Complimentary shuttle service to local attractions, beaches, shopping, etc., or even across the street if it is raining. Nice little fitness center, swimming pools, and restaurants within the hotel, not to mention delicious catering. Very nice front desk staff and cleaning/maintenance folks as well. Rooms were very clean with plenty of towels and there are even some plates/bowls/cutlery in the rooms and a mini-fridge and microwave so you can prepare food. Beautiful scenery as well.

We enjoy staying here. They give a free drink or appetizer for the evening. They have a shuttle that will take you their Cabana Beach. They have several pools. We enjoy sitting out by the fire pit by the water at night. It is very beautiful. Definitely a repeat stay!

What a beautiful hotel, the elegance, and the scenery, And the fanciful wonder this place brings makes it all worth it in my opinion. The rooms are clean and tidy, the staff are very nice and helpful, and I am just so taken back by how mesmerizing the whole of it all is out together. What a wonderful place to go, what a wonderful place to sightsee, what a wonderful place to stay.

First class service. Fun atmosphere. Excellent rooms. Be sure to try their "Florida Mule" take on the more famous "Moscow Mule". Maybe step out back with a few of your pals and colleagues to take a shot at landing your ball on the infamous floating green. Or chill by the pool as the drinks keep coming. Tomorrow is our tee time and I can't wait to hit the links. Just remember, people, it's Florida. Apply sunscreen and keep hydrated.

We had a large group of professional men attending the TPC tournament and made it a long vacation trip. Wives and girlfriends arrived for a few days after we did. It was a smooth transition to the extra rooms. Our expectations were met. Staff was great. Will stay here again and recommend it highly to others. Thank you for a great stay.
