My all time reliable and consistent shipping service. I always get my items (14 so far) in good condition and within the 7-15 days stated. Communication is also great and proactive. You can use Savo Store with confidence!

Total Joke, i recently shipped using savo store, my first shipment arrived in about 3 weeks, so i then decided to go ahead and order a much bigger shipment expecting the delivery timeline would be the same.
little did i know that my goods worth over 300,000 KES would take over 7 weeks to get here, i received them 2 days back just to realize that its only half the shipment thats arrived!!
when you call the lady just keeps quiet on the phone when you ask why its taking so long.
Terrible customer service.
Now that you cant '' Add " items to their online site that you've already ordered, I'm worried if they'll even ship out the products that they've received.
ZERO trust and faith in the company as a whole.
Delays are totally understandable during this time, but i deal with 2 other companies who also had delays but nothing close to 7 weeks and that too for only half the products.
Regret placing such a huge order with them!

I've used Savo Store twice now to purchase some products that are not available in Kenya from Amazon and Christian Book.

Pros:
1. They delivered.
2. They were responsive to emails and phone calls.
3. Their deliveries so far have not gone past the estimated delivery date (5-20 days to receive shipment in their US office, and 7-15 days for the shipment to arrive in Kenya).
4. For some products, they were more affordable compared to other options available.
5. Products were received in good condition.

What they could improve:
1. They could make it easier on the customer by providing them a way to track the progress of their shipment. Their email updates are nice, but sometimes the silence between them can be unnerving. They said that one should be able to track the progress of their shipment on their site after purchase (for buy and ship), but in my experience, there were no updates to my account on their site other than order date, purchase date, and delivery date (after delivery). The shipping date came through emails (sometimes even 3 days after shipping), and so did the arrival notification, but my account on their site remained generally inactive after the purchase date update.
2. They should inform the customer of the available options in terms of shipping speeds. In my experience, they always went with standard shipping without alerting me to the availability of faster options. For example, during my last online purchase, I purchased two products at around the same date. One purchase was made from Amazon directly (10th of July), and the other from Christian Book through Savo Store (9th of July). Both Amazon and Christian Book had options for expedited shipping. For the Amazon purchase, I opted for expedited shipping, and my shipment arrived on 23rd of July, having been shipped to Kenya on the 13th of July by Aramex. I was also able to track the shipment until it arrived. For the Christian Book purchase through Savo Store, the shipment arrived on 7th August, after having been shipped from the US on the 29th of July. As you can see, when it comes to the duration between when the shipment was shipped to Kenya, and when it arrived, there's not much difference. But while my Amazon shipment was shipped three days after purchase, the Christian Book shipment through Savo Store was shipped 20 days after purchase.

Started off great, but lately there has been a lag in communication and even when you order early enough, the team keeps missing the shipment date- which means you get your order after more than a month. Quite frustrating as any query is answered after an entire 5 days. Do better! We want the old Savo store back!

Been trying to check on my order. Sent an email got a response from William days later to share the order number which i did but no word since from william or about my order. Been trying to call Savo Nairobi....numbers are not going through

Savo store has never let down. Delivers straight to my living room. Intact and as expected. Keep it up. Ill keep shopping with you regularly.

I cannot complain, for the 2 years I have used Savo Store, all my items have safely arrived. I am looking forward to when they will start sending items to the USA from Kenya.

Every time i use Savostore for shipping services i never get disappointed, shippiment arrives on time well packaged and consolidated on the other hand communication on packages i ship is well communicated so i sleep soundly knowing my shippment will arrive without any hitches at all plus there charges are pocket friendly.

Lately savo store has been extreemly unreliable, do not order from them if you need important shipments, they will keep giving you false promises on when the shipments are coming, as of now ive still not yet received my shipment and its been over 1 month ... and for their price ,its not worth it.. you might as well use somethingrandom ke.
Never using them again.
They also do not offer any compensation for delays

Wow. I m an American by birth (not that makes me any better) but this is without a doubt the most transparent, responsive, fastest service to ship to Kenya. There are cheaper but nothing better. And even the cheaper ones don t consolidate and save you in the long run. I wish I could prove I m not a shill. Wow.

I think am done with Savo store. The first time I requested for a quote, they took forever until some of the items I needed were out of stock. No communication, I was the one always calling to inquire. A friend advised that it was faster if I just used their shipping address. My items have been in their warehouse for two weeks(knew this from the supplier, Savo store didn't communicate ) , then they tell me I have to create an order, then give another 7 to 15 business days.. And my items are sitting in their warehouse.... For me it's not working

They have began overcharging customers and the logic they use is not justified. I really advice anyone against using such companies that are out to exploit innocent Kenyans..

They give quick updates on the orders. The customer care office in Nairobi and US great.Love it.

First time using Savo store and I really expected the great service heaped on them by their customers. Safe to say they do NOT respond to emails. My goods have been at the warehouse since March. I do understand there could be delays during this time but all they do is send blanket emails with new rules and regulations. I have all but given up. Nobody calls back either. Not sure when I will hear back . Never using them again.

Seems they do not value their word or good service any more; perhaps it comes with the territory on making money. Sad!

[LONG REVIEW]
I don't take time to write detailed reviews but I had to do this. I just hope I help someone out there clear their doubts. I've been a customer since 2015 and I have nothing but praise for these guys.

1. Communication
They have great communication. This is what I love best about them. Their customer service is top notch. Got a question? Follow up question? Need clarification?...etc They never get tired of answering them be it via a call or email.

2. Trust
They have NEVER lost any of my items. You are assured of receiving them and in mint condition. Now you don't want someone you don't trust shipping your items worth thousands of dollars and they get lost/stolen/exchanged/tampered with at JKIA while clearing. I know very many people who have lost stuff this way. You can rest assured your item WILL arrive as it was. I have shipped laptops, riding gear, shoes, helmets, bike parts...etc the last order being an iPhone XS and cost me Kshs 1500 to ship. I never have to worry. Now I understand us Kenyans are a doubtful society so I will attach screenshots and pics as evidence.

3. Fast & Transparent
My items always arrive in their stated 7-15 business days or earlier save for a few times. Less than 3 times ever since 2015 last one being Jan 2019. The good thing is that they will be in constant communication should there be a delay and even explain the reasons why. My last order [July 2019] arrived in 6 business day. If you use their consolidation service, they will pack all your items in one order and that will save you a lot in shipping fees.

What to improve on.
The new website can sometimes be challenging to edit existing orders especially for adding items. The flow is not correct specifically how to edit shipping dates for new orders. I've had to use HOLD or send an email. The shipping calculator also needs revamp and clear instructions especially for new users who don't understand what volumetric/actual weight it and end up complaining on high shipping charges.

Final word
So, if you are thinking of buying something from Amazon, eBay...etc I'd recommend you create an account in Amazon, use your Kenyan bank card for payment and try shipping with them. I believe you won't be disappointed. I personally find buying from US cheaper and you get genuine high quality stuff.

If you are looking for fast and timely shipping from the US, then save yourself any headaches and look for another shipping company. You are honestly better off booking a flight to the US and just get your goods by yourself. It has been 4 weeks since my goods arrived at their US warehouse and to this day they still haven't processed my shipment for delivery to Nairobi. They claim that they are yet to find my goods at their US warehouse yet they were delivered to that address over 4 weeks ago.
Just save yourself any headaches and ship your goods through a different company.

I shipped a few items to my mom, she is in Kenya, Kakamega; the package was approx. 10lb. The air shipping prices are very reasonable, so pretty much you pay for what you pack. The service was fantastic, I had zero issues. Stanley, located in the USA office was very straightforward and professional, he explained each steps. The office in Nairobi was also VERY professional , when the package arrived in Nairobi, they immediately called my mom and also send me an email. My package arrived in Kenya in less than 10 days, I think 7 days. Nothing was broken or stolen, my mom was VERY happy. I will definitely use Savostore again but just know that you pay for what you pack as far as weight is concerned. Also, I like the cashless transactions all the way to Kenya, all payments are made online or Mpesa, it s cheaper to send money to your family and let them pay for the shipping via Mpesa that s what I did. If your family is out of Nairobi Savostore will use courier (which is a more secure service) to transport the package to your family/final destination if not in Nairobi. Overall great service, I am planning to use savostore again.

I've used Savo Store's services in the past and have had seamless results with them. Communication was good, delivery was good, fast and efficient.
Recently I had a total of 3 orders which were all made before Savo Store had announced that they would be putting a hold on their shipping only service, and therefore would hold items that shipped to their warehouse after a certain deadline. All my items arrived to their warehouse before said deadline, but only one of the orders was shipped out. The others stayed for over a month at their warehouse, which I can understand with the backlog they were receiving and the unforeseen issues with COVID. My problem isn't that the items were delayed, but that the communication was really faulty. There were no confirmations on the Savo Store website that my items had arrived, though on my end, the tracking information from the sellers had confirmed the items' arrival. Even as I had e-mailed to query about insurance and consolidating orders, replies were non-existent or only answered when addressed to specific representative e-mail accounts. Countless calls and e-mails with various representatives were made. When I had a chance to talk with some representatives on phone, they assured me they would contact the US team to find out the status of the items and the orders. A lot of follow up on my end had to be done, which was my biggest issue.
I just think that their communication and customer service can improve between US and Nairobi teams, as well as following up with customers with precise information. Maybe even having separate e-mail addresses so that individual needs are better dealt with, rather than a general customer service address. It gets tiresome talking to two different people, referencing emails you had sent a few days earlier, repeating your queries as they search for it on their end.
I think Savo Store is a great company and offers a great option for people who want to bring things from the US, but I think the pandemic has put a spotlight on areas for improvement, and I hope they take advantage of that.

Shipments times have improved again which is great. I love that they communicate when the package has arrived at their warehouse...only thing to improve is timely communication when the item has shipped from them to Kenya.

Savo Store is an awesome shipping company at an affordable rate. I was able to have them buy and ship for me my yarn a month ago. I then decided to use their shipping only tool to ship in my swimwear fabrics...and they did not disappoint! I highly recommend their services and I will continue to use them as my go to shipping company.

I ordered a watch and after 3 weeks I got it. The price was fair plus shipping and taxes, and I plan on using them in future for all my shipping needs.

I would totally recommend Savo store if you're buying stuff from the US which aren't too heavy cause the shipping cost per KG is a bit too high for the US. I'm on my second shipment as I write this and I wanted to purchase a TV and Home theater but the cost to bring it would be too high so I opted to but then from Amazon UAE and use a different shipping service which was way cheaper than them. But their customer service has been excellent so far and when shipping you don't have to worry. Also to save on money use the shipping only tool and buy your stuff yourself from the site you want instead of buy and ship as they will charge you an arm and a leg. Also doing this allows you to save more as you can use coupon and cash backs at checkout. Their shipping time is great. Mine arrived a week earlier than the anticipated time and everything was packaged flawlessly and not damaged. While buying stuff pick your poison well and this is among the best so far.

Decent shipping service, probably the most professional around.

I am very happy with the services I got from SavoStore especially my last shipment which left the US warehouse on November 6th and arrived on 14th November 2019. I will rate their services 5 star, since 2017 I have had no issues whatsoever with their shipping, never lost an item or received a damaged package. Its the only shipping company I know who update the shipping status of packages on their website which I find to be a very useful tool.
