I shipped a few items to my mom, she is in Kenya, Kakamega; the package was approx. 10lb. The air shipping prices are very reasonable, so pretty much you pay for what you pack. The service was fantastic, I had zero issues. Stanley, located in the USA office was very straightforward and professional, he explained each steps. The office in Nairobi was also VERY professional , when the package arrived in Nairobi, they immediately called my mom and also send me an email. My package arrived in Kenya in less than 10 days, I think 7 days. Nothing was broken or stolen, my mom was VERY happy. I will definitely use Savostore again but just know that you pay for what you pack as far as weight is concerned. Also, I like the cashless transactions all the way to Kenya, all payments are made online or Mpesa, it s cheaper to send money to your family and let them pay for the shipping via Mpesa that s what I did. If your family is out of Nairobi Savostore will use courier (which is a more secure service) to transport the package to your family/final destination if not in Nairobi. Overall great service, I am planning to use savostore again.
