Excellent customer service. Katie had the parts ordered before I was off the phone with her. My vehicle was returned to me shiny and clean. Very much appreciated.

The service people are friendly but The service and the hidden costs are terrible ,, I brought my truck in for starter troubles but I was informed if they didn t find anything I would be charged shop rate plus the extra hidden charges .so I drove it out totally disgusted with smp service,,

That was one time .. the day before I booked my car in for service work for 8:00 am so I brought it in at 7:00 am .. I was informed the cost for diagnostics and inspection so before anything was started I was at 400.00 already . And I informed them I needed it back by 2:00 pm so at 1:00 I went there and still it wasn t even looked at and nobody called ,, so I took it out and disgusted again!!)
Such a terrible experience !!! Frustrated

Be careful of this dealership, they are looking to replace working parts and charge you extensively for parts and labour. In addition, they will leave the inside of your car covered in mud.

I booked an appointment a couple weeks in advance to have some recall work down on my car. The car previously sat parked for two years so I also asked them to do a quick look over just to see if there was any other work that needed to be done. Even though I gave them ample time to get the parts for the recall work, they didn't have them all. The mechanic also said one of my front axle seals was leaking (needing immediate repair), my supercharger belt was worn out (needing immediate repair) and my power steering/fan belt was almost worn out, in addition to a couple other minor things they recommended fixing. They fixed the axle seal and finished the recall work on a second occasion, however I ordered the belts online to replace myself to save money on the parts and over $100 on labour charges. It took me 10-15 minutes to replace both belts, but to my surprise, they looked like new. They did not need to be replaced. They are trying to take advantage of people they think are not mechanically inclined, so beware. Moo

Back in 2015 between July 23-july 30 my 2010 Camaro ls started having misfires and a check engine light. This was back when I had just finished putting brand new spark plugs and ignition coils on my car at around 60,000 since it was idling rough. I was working for a local Gm car dealer at the time and I found the applicable technical service bulletin since I was a Gm 4th year apprentice the bulletin stated that on my engine they were known to have pourus cylinder heads which would cause the spark plugs and ignition coils to misfire due to the heads being pourus and leaking oil into the spark plug tubes.

I got the car from the dealer where I worked with 58,000. I noticed this issue when I was changing my spark plugs and ignition coils of oil inside the spark plug tubes.

So I called and booked an appointment with SMP Saskatoon and went to get my car looked at.

I even took three copies of the technical service bulletin for the issue that my car was having and I also emailed all the pictures I took of my spark plug tubes on my cylinder head for bank one of my engine to there service advisors that I was dealing with.

I only had three days of my powertrain warranty left when this started happening and it wasn t doing it before near the end of the 5 year or 160,000km powertrain warranty was up.

So after all this SMP SASKATOON DENIED ME WARRANTY AND SAID TO MY FACE THAT THERE WASNT ANYHING WRONG WITH MY CAR NOT TO MENTION THEY DENTED THE DOOR OF MY CAR SICNE THEY OARKED IT BESIDE WHERE THE CONSTRUCTION GUYS WERE DOING CONSTRUSTION IN THE BACK WITH A WHEEL BARREL.

Besides the dents in my door that s all they fixed.

I change my engine oil with full synthetic 5w30 engine oil since I know these engines are prone to timing chains and currently I m still on my original set of timing chains.

I take super good care of my car and have a blast driving it.

On multiple occasions since I was denied warranty I still get a check engine light for misfire codes on the exact same cylinders in my engine.

Not even 28,000 on July 5, 2018 I get a check engine light for misfires again on the same cylinders as before but now also on cylinders 2,4,&6 on bank 2 of my engine as well as the cylinders from before on bank 1 since the heads are still pourus and leaking oil.

Due to this issue I went only 28,000 on brand new ignition coils and spark plugs.

And instead of having only one cylinder head being Pourus and oil loeaking I to my spark plug tubes I now have two cylinders heads with the same pourus issue on cylinder 1, 2, 3, 4

The only cylinders that are fine are cylinders 5 & 6

Also since this issue has been happening I m burning oil and I m also having to add about 2l of oil before each oil change and due to that my cylinders are very spot covered on my cat back exhaust.

There is no reason that this should be happening at all and should have been properly looked at when my car was there instead of them saying that there was nothing wrong.

So my options are go to another Camaro authorized dealer or I put a brand new engine in that has a 3 year warranty on it.

From what I experienced I wouldn t recommend getting work done at SMP service Saskatoon.

The only people there that have helped me lots and treated me with respect are there parts department as my family has known Steve and the guys for many many years.

Other than that SMP HAS LOST MY BUSINESS FOR GOOD.

How do you explain the dam oil in the spark plug tubes then these were taken and emailed to you and i gave you a copy of the gm technical service bulletin and was still told that nothing was wrong now both my cylinder heads are in the same condition on cylinders 1, 3, 2, 4

How to do you explain where the oil is coming from. Since this wasn t looked at i have went through 18 ignition coils before i even hit 80,000km because the oil is wrecking the could and causing misfires.

I had an awesome experience with SMP when I was looking for a new vehicle and upgrade from my old truck! Although I didn't get into an SUV like I originally thought I found a gorgeous 2015 Chevy Malibu thanks to my great salesperson Alden Williams! He worked his hardest to try and find me something I loved and even came in on his day off to work with my schedule! Made the finances very easy to understand and relaxed atmosphere for buying! Definitely recommend Alden if you're looking for a fantastic and professional salesperson! I absolutely love my new car thank yout SMP!

I bought a pre-owned chevrolet SUV today. The price and performance of that one are good. Jami, the sales representative and her awesome colleagues are very ethusiastical as well as professional. They told me, and showed me when necessary, every aspects about their vehicles and the buying procesure, including carproof finding, insurance, repair scheme, roadside rescure, maintenance in winter, and they even helped me to set up bluetooth connection for my cellphone and the vehicle. Appreciate for their help and I will recommend SMP to my friends.

Everyone was a great help.. the only think I would suggest is time management.. we spend a total of 7 hours. We came one morning that if which was 2 hours taking then went back that afternoon and had made the decision to buy which was 2 hours. Then we came back the next week to sign papers and that was 3 hours. Time management should be looked at and it should never take more then an hour to do all this.

I just bought my third vehicle from SMP. They helped me purchase two work vans for my company and then I purchased a 2016 Malibu for myself. It's a great car! Plus the staff there were very helpful. Jami handled most of my sale (and was very pleasant and professional), her sister Jilene was also very helpful, and Brandon took care of the numbers as usual (keeping within my budget). Great Sales staff. The guy I dealt with Danny was awesome! To the point and honest, love it! No lame sales techniques that waste your time. He was smart and knew everything about the vehicle.

The service department is terrible though, stay far away from them. You will go in for an oil change and leave with weird things wrong. One friend had a new car, went it for oil change, left and all of the sudden she was low on brake fluid. That's a sealed system, unless there is a leak which there was not as we took it to another garage! Seems like someone decided to drain a bit for another high priced service call if you ask me. The garage we took it to, whom I won't name, said they stay in business because of Ford cars and SMP service department, those two thing provide the majority of this other garages customer. I can see it. A new car is $40,000, a new car built part by part is $400,000. Need to maintain that cashflow!

Kelly Prior is the person that I dealt with, He was friendly, great with information and showing how to use features of the car. Only questionable thing to me was after paying the amount on the 2013 Impala I purchased, I still had to pay the amount of having my old car looked at (and decided it wasn't worth fixing hence buying the Impala.) I can see if I wasn't buying a car from this dealership but with the amount spent on my new car that was a bit disappointing. Other than that everything else was great.

My brother got a Camaro from these guys and our experience was REALLY BAD!!! A contract was signed which promised us that everything is going to be new. We ve only had the car for 2 MONTHS and we noticed that the tires keep losing air pressure. We went to SMP to get it fixed but were surprisingly told that the tires were no longer fixable and that they have to be replaced. This shouldn t happen because the car is brand new. They offered to replace the tires BUT the expense is on us which means we re going to have to pay $$$ for it. We also found out that the tires given to us were NOT NEW and HAD BEEN USED!!! Literally NOT what we were promised! Not to mention, patches were found in the tires!!! NEW TIRES DO NOT COME WITH PATCHES IN THEM!! What we experienced with SMP was completely disappointing. Now, we have to get a new set of tires for our car and pay for service, which is not supposed to happen if only they have given us new ones.

We needed a bigger vehicle so upgraded to the Equinox. The service we received from Dean Blatz was excellent. He was friendly, professional and went out of his way to ensure we were satisfied with our purchase.

Bad.bad bad...rip off. Minus 10! avoid the place..sold me a truck with issues within 3 months with warranty..and still charged me 300 dollars. and not finding a problem..DO NOT RECOMEND. STAY AWAY FROM THAT PLACE !!!! prepare!!! any time you bring a vehicles..they want your money.

Had an small issue with some of the paint work at the body shot but they took care of it with no questions asked, Scott and crew are great and I would take my truck back there anytime. The staff are friendly and willing to go the extra mile for you.

Never had good service car has had multiple problems since buying it 4 years ago it s a 2015 and I can t drive it bellow -10 without zip tying cardboard to it and making it look horrible. Unquality cars sold by people who don t care about you and are just trying to make money

Phil and Tom were both great to work with, and definitely worked hard to find something that fit my specific list of must haves in a vehicle while respecting my budget. I was very particular in what I wanted and didn't want, which made it difficult in my short timeframe, especially when I didn't want to compromise on colour. The team managed it, and I couldn't be happier with my new Equinox. Phil went above and beyond, and Tom got me the best deal in the city. Jeff in sales was also great at stepping in and getting us on the road on Phil's day off. Overall, a great team and a very happy customer over here. The muffins and coffee while waiting was a bonus. I took my car to SMP and now i regret it. It hit two weeks on Friday the 31st, this Friday Feb 7th it will be 3 weeks they've had it and have not done a single thing to fix my vehicle besides take the engine out (January 22nd) completely just to sit there. My appointment was for Friday January 17th, and when I got my car towed there and called to ask for an update they had told me I didn't have an appointment even though I received a confirmation for my appointment via email. She ended up allegedly scheduling me in and the following Saturday I was told they were backed up with 20 vehicles and that even though I booked an appointment I would have to wait until Monday for it to be looked at. No problem. Waited until end of day Monday but was sent to voicemail. I kept/took screenshots of the call history in case i needed to. this went on for a few days (phone tag). I was finally contacted by Audrey who has since been trying to keep me updated via text/call. I was told they had to order parts that Friday and that they were in transit 13 hours away. (the one week mark January 24th). Audrey told me she would keep me posted and let me know if anything has changed on Monday. I texted her at 8:33am, no response until 11:38am telling me she is in a meeting and will get back to me at 1. She texted me at 2:52pm saying they were awaiting the Cam Shaft (no elaboration so i have no idea what that means) and when I asked what that was she just sent me a pic of what they had ordered. I asked everyday for the last week for an update and still nothing. When I expressed how financially draining this is ubering everywhere Audrey recommended a car rental which saved me some money. After that I asked when the parts would be there I was told there was 6 others in the same boat without their vehicles and to just sit tight (Thursday, January 30th). So by now (February 3rd) no progress has been made and my vehicle has basically been sitting at SMP for the last 2 weeks and 3 days. Friday it will be exactly 3 weeks without my vehicle and no info on when it will be done. I should've just went Wheaten GM. Not a good experience overall. Also my name is Nyachudier riek, I go by Gloria as well in case SMP replies saying im not in the database like they did to a previous review. I just want my car back, grrrr!

Bought a new truck from Brandon Snowfell. He was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. He always had time for me no matter what his day was like. I would recommend SMP to all my friends and family.

I brought my car in for two recalls, which I was told is a free service. After asking 3 different times to two different people if I would be charged anything during my visit, and being told NO, they went ahead and charged me for an hour of work on something I merely had a question about. When I ask is this visit going to cost anything? And I m told no multiple times, I don t want to be charged for ANYTHING. It was never once mentioned to me that I would be paying money.

I voiced my frustration to my service rep, Cody, who said he would see what could be done and call me back, but he never called and I had to quickly drive in before they closed, otherwise I probably wouldn t have heard back.

Still extremely dissapointed with my service today. Their service reps should do a much better job at being transparent with their customers.

Yesterday was my first experience buying from a dealership, and SMP really knocked it out of the park for me. Jarrett in Sales and Dale in the financing department were both fantastic, answering all of my questions without being patronizing. They both went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and get me the best rates for the car I wanted, and Jarret even drove me to to insurance office to get my new car registered (since in my haste, I had Ubered to the dealership and hadn't considered how to get over there once I had made my purchase.) I feel completely confident in my purchase and know that if something comes up, they are there to answer any other questions I have. Without getting too mushy, I feel like having this car opens a whole new chapter of my life, and I am delighted to have had Jarrett and Dale's help in getting here. Thanks you guys!

When I traded in my 2007 Jeep Compass for what I thought would be a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT turned out to be even better than I expected. When I was getting help from Randy and Dean they were amazing the entire time and I am very HAPPY and SATISFIED with my trade-in purchase. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND you go straight to SMP!

Mark was very helpful and mr olsen was very quick to get a loan approved but ive noticed on my truck some paint chips that were covered poorly and black paint all over my rear red bumper and the truck is hard to start at -7 and wobbles pretty bad at 110 kms.

The worst place to buy car ..don't recommend anyone to buy the car here very rude stAff and rip off big time and not willing to listen the client what they have to say even the auto body people are very rude very very bad experience and if by mistake u go there don't deal with Aaron the car sales man at used car ..these people are just Big zero Sad

Worst experience from the sales person Jamie. She was very very rude and racist. I just asked for good deal and she said I am not here screwing around with people coughing in my office. It was my first visit and had a worst experience. Don't recommend to deal with her.

Contacted SMP to repair a simple stripped fill plug, Audrey funk from the service department said id need to replace the whole case itself. I contacted her explaining how it could be done. I have not received any sort of costumer care or service and feels as if they are blowing me off. This was my first and last experience at SMP.

I met Greg Lemon for the first time last week when I popped in to check out the SMP used truck line up. With a few questions for me, he quickly listed a number of trucks that fit both my budget and interests. He was very thorough about providing information about a truck I had become quite interested in, providing fact sheets for me to take home and study along with making a point about several special options that did not normally come with this particular model. Being pressed for time that day, I made an appointment to meet the following Saturday and made a deal with him, every body from Greg, Kelly Cherneski (Sales Manager), Kelly Hewitt (Finance Specialist) and the detailing bay personnel did go out of their way to make every step of the buying experience enjoyable. I have dealt here in the past and will likely do so in the future as the need arises. I recommend that other people looking for a vehicle come see Greg Lemon and the rest of the staff at SMP.

Sales staff seems good bought my truck at smp told my daughter to go to smp she bought her first new car the car has had major issues codes all the time the service department treated her terribly over and over again my wife had the same kinda experience with the service department something the owner should look into the behaviour of some of the service staff

Took 6 hours for an oil change even with an appointment. EDIT...It just would ve been nice to have a heads up that it wouldn t be ready until the end of the day because I gave a specific time that it needed to be done by because I had to go to work. In addition, when I did pick it up I had to turn around 30 seconds later because there was smoke blowing out of my car and wasn t running properly apparently due to an overfilled and messy oil change, leading to me taking a loaner car and leaving my vehicle over night.

We leased a new silverado and we were very happy with the truck and also really impressed with the service.

I just missed my previous Dealer with their constant follow up of the condition of my vehicle, schedule for check up and everything. Now, I regret my whole life why I switch to this dealership. I even got their package aside from warranty..... But no, I was not as important as other costumers........ Never again....... and will never recommend to my friends and my friend friends.

Derek Campbell-Posting on my wife s account but we had been talking about moving down to one newer vehicle as we both had older cars, 2004 and 2014 and we decided on something more practical. We ended up with a 2017 Equinox and we couldn t be happier with it! It is serving it s purpose amazingly and we couldn t be happier! Imee was amazing and didn t pressure us on anything or try to give us more then we were asking for for our budget.
