Sandestin Beach Hilton Reviews

I had a great stay. This resort has an amazing location. We had a few issues with the cleanliness of our room and digital room key but overall it was a nice stay.

Nothing directly against the Hilton Sandestin, but against Hilton: Before our stay, I called the local number for the hotel to book our stay. Once talking to the operator, I was transferred to someone who I found out later, did not even work at the Hilton Sandestin. I told him the dates we wanted to stay, he first brought up my Hilton Honors account, and said they had a double queen room at a great price. I immediately said that wasn t going to work, it was only my husband and I staying and we didn t want two queen beds. He insisted they could push the beds together and that they did that all the time. I was reluctant to doing it but it was over $50 cheaper per night. I also requested that we could have a higher up room to get a better view, he said that would be no problem since there were 21 floors. After giving him my information, he put me on hold for a few minutes, and came back on the line. He then said he spoke with a lady at the front desk and they would be able to push the beds together along with getting us a great room. We were excited!

When we arrived the bagman, brought us to our room, on the second floor might I add, beds were NOT together. I told him we were promised they would be put together. He
I know we definitely aren t called the front desk and the lady at the front desk stated they were not allowed to push the beds together and they have never done it in the past.

I was getting really frustrated at this point. We loaded our bags back up and headed back to the front desk. The bagman told us to wait at the chairs up front. About 15 min went by, the guy came back to us and said they didn t have a single king bed available??? I insisted I speak with a manager at this point.

Upon speaking to him, I was beyond frustrated but I felt polite, I told him what the guy promised me about the beds and the floor the room was on. He laughed and it almost seemed like he was laughing at me and I was making it up. He said they had a queen bed for that night and then they would move us to a king the night after that. If we are only staying 3 nights, I don t want to move over and over.

Finally, we got it resolved. Long story short, kinda, I don t know why they took away having people who know the resort and know how many floors they have and what they allow and don t allow to make the reservations. I think Hilton made it right, but it took a while to get there.

Food is great. Rooms are clean. Verizon has a great signal. T-Mobile has zero signal. The business area is up notch.

My family and I had so much fun during our stay! We will be coming back.

My family stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. The property was beyond amazing! The service was 5 star and the staff was Awesome! The Front Attendant Cory was beyond accommodating. We enjoyed the views, pools, Sandcadtle's breakfast buffet was delicious and they had wonderful optuons for the entire family. The pizza from in room dining was so delicious tge kids enjoyed it. The pool side menu was a relaxing tasty treat. My family enjoyed every minute of our stay!! We will definitely be returning guest! For the price we truly felt like we were on an all out vacation and were thrilled to be able to afford it.

It doesnt get any better than this place. Great layout. Near beach. Rooms are top notch. Pools are crazy nice. lots of little shops and places to get great food and snacks. Perfect set up for convention center functions. High end location in Sandestin with shuttle service to the Baytown area. Staff is very friendly and attentive. One of the better Hiltons in my opinion. Prices are high but..this is just a fantastic location. Well worth it.

Best beach house resort !! The beach only was members staying at Sandestin resort and the hotels around beach , white sandy beach , the rental for umbrellas were kinda expensive , but it was worth it.

The rooms were cool, mine was huge, the staff was nice. But the manager charged me a fee of $150 that wasn't supposed to be there, which took a couple of days to fix. The breakfast was decent. Seemed clean overall but a few roaches were seen around outside and one inside.

Had a wonderful time staff was great. The only thing I would change it the cheap toilet paper. For it to be so beautiful place and have rough toilet paper

We love the Sandestin Hilton resort. Have been visiting for many years. The staff is awesome and they remember us by name. Shawn, Steve, and Jess, at the Barefoots bar and restaurant are awesome. Look forward to many more years visiting.

Great facility, friendly staff, beautiful beach access, will definitely visit next time we're down!

All the food is over priced they wanna make you pay for WiFi after you pay $1000 for three nights brought my canopy would not let us use it because they want you to pay $45 for there one umbrella and two chairs they told me no tents aloud it s a canopy not a tent and I seen five other tents they want $9 for three chicken tenders with no drink or fries do not go here everywhere else seems better

You get what you pay for. Expensive but worth it. Like that its a little off from the busy area.

Everything for a great vacation spot is here...emerald green gulf with white sand, pool, tiki bar, restaurants in-house, proximity to other great food, and rooms with great views.

Really loved and enjoyed our stay on Sandestin property, but our rental from My Vacation Haven NOT!!!!!. Do not rent from them !!!!!! cleanliness issues and property not well maintained at 1#1844 Villa Lago I would return to Sandestin but I would use different management company

Came down for a basketball tournament with a big group and stayed almost a full week. Every room in the hotel was sold out. Only 2 elevators working. A lot of times you had to climb 15 flights of stairs because of the wait. Were told we could get a later checkout of 2pm due to a late game on day of departure, called to remind them the day we were leaving and they would not honor that. "I'm sorry, that's not our policy. Dont know who told you that." Had another family that had to leave and go to another hotel because Hilton wouldn't extend their stay at the same rate they had paid for the days they had already stayed. It was going to be almost double.

Other than that, the place is nice. But for the amount of money we paid to stay and eat here, I would expect better customer service.

Great family resort. We're had a blast. It was a little cold in March, but the interior pool was an excellent relief.

Visited for a conference- grounds and amenities are beautiful and amazing! Staff is super friendly, even to visitors. Would love to stay here in the future.

Accommodations were great. The building was incredibly cold though

Beautiful Beach, amazing water, water sports are very pricey.

Very hotel. Wonderful location right on the beach. Great employees too. We had an issue with our room, but due to the group we came with, we shouldn't have been able to move. One of the employees was able to work something out so that we would enjoy our stay!! He is definitely the reason I'm giving a this a 5 star!!!

Exactly as you would expect. Very friendly staff in every area. Pools are clean, views are incredible!

Everything is very clean and staff is friendly. The hotel is very good looking. The pools are really nice and so are the beaches.

Disappointing. The hotel is tired and needs an upgrade. Room prices are not a good value. Staff are robotic. Nobody smiles. Service is mediocre at best. Food is just average. On a positive note, direct access to the beach is a plus.

This was the worst experience at a hotel to be a Hilton resort. Front desk reassigned our room to poolside which is not what we wanted at all. The bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable unlike the "dream mattress" they promote. I spoke with the front desk and I was told due to high traffic they do not change out mattresses as they should. Really? This is a high end Hilton property!!! Everything should be kept up. I have stayed at a better place for $100 not the $449 i was charged for one night in what they consider a "premium room" that looked like 1972. Not happy and will never stay here again. Definitely not worth the time to write this review either. Very disappointing.

I was there having dinner and enjoying the beach. Very nice hotel.

Rachelle at the front desk was beyond amazing! When we arrive, Hilton had our reservation day wrong. She called Hilton and got everything corrected for us! I would give her 10 STAR if I could. Thank you so much Rachelle

Great hotel. Right along the beach with nice rooms, and at least three pools. Nice staff as well.

We had a junior suite which had a king bed and bunk beds for the kids. (Plus a pull out.)

The bathroom was spacious and had two shower heads for a luxurious experience.

Dinner at Seagars located lobby level of the Hilton was fantastic. Enjoyed a bottle of wine and a steak dinner with friends. Wonderful dinner, excellent service.

We paid a lot of money to enjoy the resort experience. The resort pools and beach were beautiful but the customer service fell short of my expectations. Our hotel phone never worked and I went down to the front desk (multiple times) to express my concern. They mention to me that they would send a technician to fix it. This never happened. On day 3, I went to the front desk and asked for clean towels, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, and for our trash to be picked up. We waited over an hour and I called the front desk on my cell phone to get an eta on when someone would be coming to help us with getting these amenities. They sent a guy up within 10 minutes to help us out which was good. The only issue we had was with the customer service for this 4 star resort.

This place is great! They have many different restaurants to satisfy everyone's taste buds. Access to the beach is very easy and the different pools they have also satisfy everyone's needs. Breakfast buffet is a must and delicious. Highly recommend and it's worth the price!

Awesome place! I wish I had my kids with me, but I was there for a conference.

i was having so much fun and still enjoy staying here but i left my water bottle on the sink and the maids took it and threw it away but i love staying here and definitely enjoy it that was the only mishap i had here

We had a Christian Women's Comfrence there and it was a wonderful place!

Just went on property for the beach but it looked nice.

So far, this is the best place to stay while in Florida. No need to leave the resort when you have everything in one place.

The room was amazing! Beach view was awesome! My daughter loved the bunk beds and the pool/hot tub! Had a blast at the Hilton and will be returning in the years to come!
