Always a great stay at this Hilton. Located right outside main Destin area in Sandestin. Great views and beach access. Very friendly, courteous, and helpful staff. Awesome food, drinks, and amenities. This is our go to place for a beach vacation.

You have to go to know. OMG best vacation spot ever with so much to offer. They have everything you need. Plus the beach. You can hear the waves through out your room. Just open up your balcony.

Beautiful beachfront hotel in the very nice Sandestin Resort. The Hilton sits between the ocean beach and a wide grassy lake-lined boulevard that is thoroughly beautiful and relaxing. The Hilton has all of the major amenities you could need, including both indoor and outdoor pools, restaurants, water sport rentals, a fitness center and so forth.

The Sandestin Resort itself features golf, tennis and the fun Baytown Village area that has a ton of carnival type activities for kids (as well as restaurants and bars for adults).

The market area at the entrance to the resort has a pizza place, ice cream, a juice shop and a fun "escape room" called Escapology.

We came for the beach on this property and it was amazing. Very clean, well kept. You can rent chairs if you want but you can just sit right next to the ocean and enjoy. My only downside was the service at the Beach House restaurant. They made my daughter and I go downstairs by the pool to use the bathroom. There was one right in the restaurant. We weren't serviced for 20 minutes, and had to find someone to do so. The young man who did help us was very kind. However the man whos section we were sitting was purposely not servicing us. We were given a discount but no direct acknowledgements of the situation from management. No conservation about it or anything. She (the manager) just handed me the bill and walked away. No apology or anything. We didn't go back to the restaurant but the beach is perfect.

Our room was beautifully decorated and laid out, much bigger than expected with a gorgeous gulf view. I loved waking up to the wonderful blue water and watching the sun set as well from the patio. The entire facility was clean and tastefully put together. The staff were great at the front desk, breakfast and anytime you crossed paths with them in the building. The outdoor hot tub was wonderful at night and even though we stayed during a cold spell, I really enjoyed the Hilton Sandestin and will be recommending it to everyone!

#HiltonSandestin Avoid the east end rooms in the Serenity Spa Tower. You hear the Staff Elevator allll night long. Very annoying. When I asked to move they moved us to a room right behind the 3 public elevators... Really??? When I complained they just gave me my money back without offering to move us again or asking us if we wanted to upgrade our rooms. Very poor customer service. And this was our anniversary... Not only this but they put us on a floor that they knew was reserved for a party which the occupants blasted their music until we called for security ...Twice..... We ended up driving the 5 hours home on our anniversary.

Very well maintained resort with beautifully decorated, modern rooms and suites. Features two outdoor pools and a hot tub as well as one indoor pool and hot tub.

The private beach access allows you spectacular views without it becoming too crowded. The white sand beach and blue-gree but crystal clear gulf waters are fantastic.

Food is top notch but pricey. Lobby bar is small and casual featuring sushi as well as typical bar food.

There is a lobby restaurant with a breakfast buffet which is very good; featuring made to order omelettes and waffles. They also host lunch.

The pool bar and restaurant offers delicious fare and drinks during the day into the late afternoon.

There is also a coffee shop and quick service counter available.

As you would expect from Hilton, the service is always excellent and friendly!

The spa is amazing. Offers a multitude of services, a fitness area, classes and separate locker rooms and a relaxation area.

Room is very nice. Has bunk beds with a small tv for if you have kids, and is very clean. However the drain to the sink drains extremely slow, the room is constantly hot even though the thermostat is turned down to 60, and the tv cuts out frequently.

Stayed a couple nights with the family. We had a great time being lazy, and really enjoyed the facilities and restaurants. Very friendly staff, clean rooms with great beachfront views.

The perfect family vacation for a large, young family (2 adults and 4 kids 7 and under). We joined my husband for a week-long conference at the Hilton and had an absolutely fantastic time. The room was spacious and comfortable, and easily accommodated all of us. The entire hotel was immaculately clean. Every single staff member we encountered in the entire week were visiting was smiling, courteous, helpful, and friendly. The pools were beautiful, warm, and clean. The beach access made taking several small children to the beach nearly effortless. The food in all the restaurants was excellent-especially the breakfast buffet and Seagar's Steak House. We are dreaming about our next visit already, and we just got home yesterday!!! Thank you so much for the vacation of a lifetime, Hilton. We are fans for life now.

I had a terrible experience at the hilton San Destin. First, it was my sisters bachelorette party and we were staying 1 night. Check in was at 4 check out was 11. Drove 4 hours to stay one night and I got there earlier than the rest of the group so I could set up for the party. I am not 25 so they would not give me the keys to the room. The lady that was checking us in was very nice. But the other lady Erika at the front desk was not so nice. She was talking to me in a rude tone but never made eye contact with me. I asked to speak with the manager I wish I would have got his name because he was worse than Erika. Not understanding and had a I don't care what your problem is but this is our policy attitude. I work in customer service and have been for awhile so I understand that there are policy's you have to go by, but there are certain ways you handle things. He was shrugging his shoulders and was like "sorry but this is the way it is. I have had people travel hours away and they couldn't stay here I turned them away." What kind of service is that? I could have sworn I was staying at a motel and not the Hilton. And when we were checking out Erika was at the front desk again. She mumbled something to my sister and my sister said what was that? She said "I said how may I help you ma'am." In an annoyed voice like we were bothering her. We continued to check out and we were done and she didn't say thank you for staying with us or anything. I am EXTREMELY disappointed at the staff and I will NEVER stay here again.

One of our favorite places to go as a family. Right on the beach, great restaurants and more restaurants and activities close by. The rooms with the 2 bunk beds are very spacious for a family of 4.

We reserved two large suites for our party of six. We only had 2 nights and 2 days at the resort and wanted to spare no expense. This was a trip that my father wanted to take his grandchildren and great grandson on after my brother s recent passing. He needed this to re-center himself and the family while celebrating my brother s memory. We had high hopes of enjoying our time together and showing my brother s grandson his first beach and ocean.
The first night my father's shower door shattered and as a result, he received cuts on his hands, feet and torso. Nothing serious, but since my father is 71, his skin is thin and the smallest cut will bleed forever, which he continued to do the whole weekend from multiple places. We were down to one bathroom for 6 people for most of the trip. They didn't have any other rooms to move us to. Room service took 90 minutes which was unfortunate because the 3-year old in our party really needed his grilled cheese. EVERY time we took a shower, the smoke alarm went off, either waking the 3-year old (if he was sleeping) or scaring him to death (if he was awake). Every time I called the front desk to share the issue, the staff responded with "yes, the smoke alarms do that because of the steam." Great. If you know they "do that," why not fix the problem with appropriate ventilation?
Maintenance, security/first aid team and wait staff were all very kind, but the management team was unwilling to compensate us for the terrible situation we found ourselves in at the hotel. After everything that happened, they were only willing to credit one night of ONE of the rooms back to us.
Such a shame that customers/clients are treated so poorly. It's not like we were being cheap. We never left the resort because we had such a short time there. We continued to spend like crazy at the gift shop and restaurants. We tipped generously at every turn. Why would management treat people this way? YOU DIDN'T HOLD UP YOUR END OF THE DEAL, HILTON. ~$700 a night per room for complete insanity . . . Scratching my head . . .
All that being said, while we were on the beach, watching my brother s grandson play on the beautiful sand and in the gorgeous blue waters of the ocean, we were able to celebrate our family, and for that, we are grateful.

Here at the Hilton, I expect a lot more humility because I'm spending my money but in this case, I'm not sure. The only absolute problem I had was the wait. Yea, we all have to wait but dam, this long. Darrell Smith helped an aggravated customer by talking to her but with 1 person behind the computer. She was still aggravated but 5 min later, she was going to her room. I said wow. So after that, surely he was going to address the line and he did, help he didn't. 1 girl at the front desk. Then 2 more show up. I'm like ,where were you guys 10 min ago? Darrell did a dog and pony show for the aggravated customer but nothing for us but "some one will get with you in a min", I said "ok, Imma hold you to that" . So now, I at the Hilton in my room. Room looks good and clean so far. I come here at least 3 times a year and never had to deal with a wait but yea, I know. You gotta wait sometimes but this ain't Walmart. 400 people in the store and 1 register open. Come on Darrell. Mr. Manager. It's Spring break!!!!!!!!

I love this hotel, it is just by the beach and perfect if you have kids. They have indoor and outdoor pools, restaurants and snack bar so you can just stay around the whole time. Service is great and breakfast is delicious (not included).

My girlfriends and I stayed her for my birthday weekend the past weekend. For what I paid for the hotel when you leave an item behind you d think you d be able to get it back fairly easy. I left two very expensive shoes in the drawer under the TV to keep them safe. When called they don t have them I specifically know I left them. For high rates you need to hire trustworthy housekeepers who won t take your items.

This is one of the nicest hotels in SanDestin. The views are extravagant! The rooms are amazing, with plenty of room. The beds are super comfortable. The food is delicious. The hotel staff is so friendly and helpful. From the time we arrived, until the time we left, we were made to feel at home. This is definitely the place to stay!!!

Great place to stay. Rooms were spacious even though they were the long narrow layout of the older hotels. Views were excellent and the amenities were abundant. We had a muffin at the coffee shop, raw oysters at the beach side restaurant, considered sushi at the raw bar, and ended up with fine dining at Segars. Lots of pools both inside and out and plenty of ice cream and towels. Did not take advantage of the spa but maybe next time.

I seen an employee standing outside smoking a cigarette. I said hi and he looked at me like I was stupid for saying anything to him with no response. Guess I interrupted his lunch break. Lots of other places to stay around with nicer people.

A very pretty beach with lots of amenities. The beaches in this area all have sugar sand. This means the beach is white. It is a very pretty back drop coupled with the blue green clear water. Would definitely go back and recommend to any one.

The front desk staff was rude and disconcerned with me and my family upon check in. The room was average, but the kids bunk area was nice. The pool was too crowded with not enough seating. They ran out of towels for over an hour. The restaurant at the pool had the most wonderful staff ever! Hanna was a delight and made the dinner fun.
