Everyone was very nice. From the valet to the registration people.

Went to a convention at the hotel. It was very nice. Well put together, and good food and drinks.

A pleasant place with good disposition of your staff. It is still a good option in the future.

Excellent experience. Be sure to grab your free wine tickets and your $10 worth of morning food or drinks at the cafe or Starbucks. Friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms, with a decent gyn.

Amazing hotel, so beautiful, great views and friendly staff. Highly recommend if you are here on business. Pool area is absolutely beautiful and close walk to dining on Marina, some shops, gas lamp district and Petco park.

The front desk is suburb but they allow employees to ask guests multiple times a day while they are walking throughout the hotel to attend some sales seminar for some type of travel plan offered by Marriott. Multiple times a day we had to stop, smile politely and say no thank you to the salesman/women who didn't take no laying down. We are active and probably experienced this behavior 3 to 4 times a day, sometimes the same associate failing to notice we had said no an hour ago. It was disturbing and by day 3 we were taking note of the other hotels in the area we would stay next time to avoid their onsite telemarketer in future trips.

Had 2 nights here on a recent trip to San Diego. It is a lovely hotel, right on the harbor next to Seaport Village. Keep in mind you will pay for location in San Diego, but you can get some great AAA rates here that include valet parking and various credits.

We checked in easily, and upon hearing that we were in town for a Memorial service we were upgraded to a bay view room on a high floor which was wonderful. Room was clean and very nice with plenty of space. Solid sleep quality as well. We had some cocktails in the bar downstairs and got great service there, along with some tasty craft drinks.

Quality, price point for this level hotel, location and above all the service from the valet team to the front desk to the housekeeping was on point.

Only negative I would call out is if you are trying to get up/down on the elevators during a busy time or when there are conferences going on -- it can be a bear.

Stayed here in August when the weather was gorgeous. North Tower rooms facing the water all have balconies with a nice view of the pool area, marina, and Coronado bridge. Pool area has a resort feel with 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, towel service, bar/restaurant, and many lounge chairs.

I also attended a yoga class in the hotel. It's very convenient to be able to do yoga while traveling, and I enjoyed this amenity. The yoga studio within the fitness center was new and clean, and had clean yoga mats.

We had our employee winter event this past weekend at the Marriott Marquis. The venue was absolutely beautiful. The food was great and the service exceptional.

Great location. Hotel is worn out and way to big. It is a hike where ever you want to go. Major excursion just to go to a hotel restaurant.

Well located, nice place. It has a nice architecture with an atrium at the center. It has many floors but elevators are fast. Amazing breakfast choices, comprised with room. In the afternoon, free drinks as beer and wine. There is pool and gym that I did not use. The room is great as the bathroom. Walkable distance to nice neighborhoods around with tons of restaurants.

I attended a management seminar for 3 days at this Marriott, and everything from the service to facilities was top notch.

We visit every year for the great location and swimming pools. On lazy days the amenities within the hotel are great, otherwise, head outside and theres options within a few minutes to an hours walk.

Great resort! Beautiful and large pool area with a splash pad for smaller children! Large patio/outdoor dining and bar. Restaurants on site. Large gift shop. Excellent service at front desk. Beautiful marina and city views. Conveniently near gas lamp area. Marina boardwalk access from pool area.

Beautiful complex. The staff is nice and accommodating. The only bad thing i can say is their cancellation policy is 72hrs notice so be aware.

DIRTY UNCLEANED ROOMS! My family and myself had checked in to what we that was a reputable Marriott and come to find an dirty worn shirt in our room with a detached tag on the opposite side of the room! An envelope was left saying a room attendant checked the room prior to our check in yet the previous guests clothing was still in the room! DISGUSTING AND DIRTY! I have NO reason to believe my room was even clean to begin with! On top of that, when called to ask the reason for the dirty clothes left in the room we were only offered $50 compensation when we are paying well over that to stay there each night! You d think with the area you d have better customer service, but we have checked in on Wednesday and leave Saturday and have yet to hear from the front desk manager about further assistance with the issue...today is Friday mid day. I hope corporate can see this to ensure better customer service and compliance of policy for your customers that are PAYING for that!

No manager has even called us back and it s been a week now! No wonder you are losing clientele and other countries see the downfall and stop investing in your stocks. This hotel chain has gone down and no excuse for the lack of customer service you give.

Staff was very friendly. The internet was weak, but there was several hundred of us on one wifi point.

Excellent services. Beautiful facility. Great location. Great hotel staffs. 4 stars - bar none. I couldn't give them that fifth star because of their many misc taxes/fees and the valet service. I never feel comfortable handing over my car to a bunch of high school kids.

My family and I had a remarkable experience in this hotel. The kids enjoyed playing their playground and swimming in the pool. I thanked your staves for being so courteous and accommodating. Excellent service in every area of the hotel. The Vallet parking, front desk, Concierge level longe, and the Marina Restaurant were all pleasant experiences.

What a view. Good beds. The hotel is an experience, all on its own. The lobby was amazing. Perfect place for a romantic get away. Irregular shaped rooms but it was part of the fun. Wouldn't want to have trip over kids here, though.

This is a very nice hotel. As hotels go in a downtown area, things are very overpriced. A bottle of water is $4. They have nice gas fire pits in the pool are that are nice to sit around in the evenings.

Attended a SANS conference here and was thoroughly impressed. The location is excellent, the facilities are super clean, it's right next to the beach and the light rail station, nice pool, friendly staff, built in Starbucks. I didn't stay in one of the rooms while I attended the week long conference ... But I definitely will next time!

Great staff, great service, great location. There is so much good that i am not sure what to mention! From the minute i arrived to check in, the experience has been great. They plant a tree if you decline daily room service (good for my privacy and for the environment!). Today there were complimentary margaritas in the lobby for Cinqo de Mayo (i guess). The breakfast is pricy but delicious. You can get to convention center in 2 minutes. You can get to gaslamp district in 4 minutes walk. The restaurants inside are great and there are others just outside the pool area that are also perfect for a bit of variety.

Excellent hotel! Great location right on San Diego Bay and downtown. Just a short walk ftom Seaport Village with great shopping and food. Also very close to the USS Midway exhibit and the San Diego Maritime Museum. Can also rent bicycles and paddleboatds. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Having stayed at Marriott hotels in the past, this was a somewhat disappointing experience.

The room - we paid for a marina view and asked for a higher floor. I also mentioned dust allergies in the special requests. Having gotten to the room - it was on floor 7 of 20+, facing the other tower rather than marina and while there was no comforter to accommodate dust allergies - the carpet was not vacuumed!
During the entire stay the housekeeping did not bother vacuuming the carpet in the room.

The king size bed had only one nightstand - what is the other person supposed to use?

The bathroom had no exhaust fan - making it not only really steamy during a shower but also rather awkward when not traveling alone. The bathroom light was on a timer, rather than using regular switch - causing half of your shower to be taken in the dark.

The fridge was tiny and was set to not go below 42 degrees. Having had some dinner leftovers I had to request a separate fridge to store my food in.

There are no blinds/shades on the windows, should you choose to sleep in you better do it with the light in the room.

The walls were thin, you can hear your neighbor's every move.

The dining options, especially breakfast, were ridiculously overpriced for the options available. Less than basic continental breakfast should not be charged $27 per person.

Staff was.. fair. The concierge was lost when we asked about dining options. Pointed us in a completely wrong direction, somewhat "ruining" the night.

We did enjoy the location, being close to plenty of attractions and other restaurants, and having had the ferry within a walking distance was a huge plus. Proximity to the downtown is a plus for business travelers.

Was at the Marquis for a convention. Great venue and great location.
