This hotel is beautifully situated on the river, with excellent facilities and a contemporary feel. Ideal for families and couples alike, with excellent food options. It's also amazingly close to Heathrow, though you'd never guess it!

We have been eating at this venue on special occasions for more than 15 years. We believe it to be one of the best locations for a proper Sunday roast there are always 40/50 different items for the first course. The main course is also really astounding with a very varied array of roast meats, curries, bakes fish and vegetarian dishes.

Make sure you take a big appetite with you because being self service it is possible to try many different dishes. There is also an excellent array if desserts to select from.

The venue is really good with views over the Thames Lock at Runnymeade.

Highly recommended

Great hotel with lots of amenities, good restaurant, friendly and attentive staff, lovely location by the river. Very child friendly: one of the pools is for kids; separate outdoor playground. Legoland a short drive away! Highly recommended.

I love this place. It has a lovely feel to it, smart but relaxed and the staff are so helpful. I always pick the top price room and usually with dinner included in the package - the food in leftbank is really nice. It is not cheap, but we look forward to going back for birthdays and anniversarys. Love the steam room, and pool area. Always take walks along the river and ask reception for duck food and feed them on the way - little touches make it special.

We were celabrating a birthday and had taken a cake. We were not allowed a sharp knife for health and safety reasons. Cutting through icing with a table knife made a complete mess of it.

Great place for meetings, wonderful surroundings, good views of the river plus it is simple to get to and has a good selection of food and drink. Service could be slightly quicker but we got there in the end.

The service and attention to detail cannot be faulted. Nothing was too much trouble. Only saw the function room and nearby ladies room. Everything was spotless.

It is such a shame that a nice place like the Runnymede is contributing to nasty plastic waste by having this artificial snow globe outside its building filled with tiny plastic snippets that spread around the surroundings like this! SURELY, there are more eco friendly alternatives! Yes, these are all bits of plastic that you see there around the globe on the photo. Please fix and clean and recycle this properly Runnymede. Love

We have been coming to the Runnymede to celebrate our works Christmas party for about 10 years, and the reason we come is because Chris and the events team look after us so well. The party nights are amazing value for money and great fun., From our complimentary drink on arrival to the lovely meal and disco afterwards. The Santa photo booth is a popular attraction which is so much fun. Well done the Runnymede team. I'm sure we'll see you next year.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic setting. Wife went for a half day spa treatment and was very reasonably priced. Food in lounge a little on the pricy side but nothing unexpected from a hotel.

Was on a kayaking trip down the Thames and stopped here for breakfast. It was a little pricey at 18 quid but considering i kayaked for 15 hours the day before i got my monies worth and more. It was also ultra convenient as the buffet was ready to go so no delay getting back on the river. They only had three varieties of bacon on the buffet which was the biggest dissapointment... jokes aside though, I always assumed that smoked bacon would be supperior but i guess they use more salt on unsmoked and so i stand corrected. Thanks for showing me the ways of the bacon Runnymead

Special thankyou to the reception girls for ordering a taxi for us.

Visited for a business conference. Good room and conferencing facilities. Having a coffee bar with snacks just outside the conference room was a nice thing to have availible. Buffet lunch was fantastic. Great selection of food. Didn't stay at the hotel but would stay here in the future.

It fine the rooms are small, bathrooms pokey. Good facilities, parking and breakfast on the river is lovely. Wifi is terrible which is a cardinal sin in this day and age. Food is unnecessarily expensive. Some staff are very friendly and attentive others not so. It's comfortable and clean and they love ducks. A nice place for families but it's a great 3 star in reality rather than a 4.

Beautiful venue overlooking the Thames. The food was delicious and service was good (although could have been quicker). It took about 10 minutes for our table to be cleared and then a while to get our bill. Luckily we weren't in a rush.

Nice location. Went there for a meeting.

Good food good amenities. Walk by Thames an amazing experience.
For vegetarians they have few options but there are nearby restaurants within walking distance.
