Mercure hotel randburg Reviews

Mercure Randburg is located at the edge of the town. It is very affordable and the rooms are well-maintained and the staff was very friendly. Although we chose this hotel because of its central location relative to the Lanseria Airport, O. R. Tambo Airport and Pretoria, I think the neighbouring area helps to keep its rates down because there is not much to see within walking distance, especially at night. The Bridgewater Commons mall next door was under renovation with no clear date of completion, although we managed to have a dinner at the Ocean Basket. For breakfast, we went to the M Squared bakery and coffee shop just 200 metres to the east, which cost us a third of what we would pay at the hotel.

It was nice. Staffs at reception were awesome and friendly. Nice place, clean, awesome atmosphere.

There are better places than this with the price paid.

Excellent room with big TV, refrigerator. Tea and coffee can be made inside the room. Bright water commons mall is just 2 mins walkable distance from the hotel. Very peaceful place. Very good staff.

The place is good to be, the staff is friendly, the rooms are good with uncapped free WiFi,situated near the Ferndale mall, not far from Cresta mall.

It was okay but for similar or cheaper price I would prefer Road Lodge.

Hotel is just OK. Rooms are OK although they could be refreshed a bit.
Wi-Fi is slow and limited in volume.

Was there for work. Everything in room was functional. Staff very helpful. Wake up call at 5 am every morning. One morning did not hear phone - staff member came to my room and knocked on door to wake me.

Hotel hospitable, organized, staff prepared and friendly, rooms comfortable and quiet. It was possible to check in before the time. My wife and I enjoyed it very much and we highly recommend it. People do not know how to read the details of the reservation on the internet sites and are criticizing the Hotel! Excellent option in Johannesburg, even more so for those who rented a car because parking is free and safe!

Conveniently situated in the heart of Randburg close to malibongwe drive and the N1 freeway. Suits short visits for business.
