I stayed here at this Hotel over the weekend to attend a wedding. It was really good. I wouldn t mind coming here again.
Very nice night. The clerk at check in was extremely nice and professional. The room was great.
I've been to many Hotels, Motels, Inns, and Suites, some better than others and I have to say this Inn is amazing .
This entire Holiday Inn has either been recently constructed or renovated.
The Entrance Hall accommodates a large tile and glass staircase for quick 2nd floor access, it also functions to separate the Dinning & Reception areas.
The 2 story ceiling makes the large area feel larger, while the 15' chandelier, mosaic tile accents on the floors and stairs, and 2 story glass wall with vaulted glass ceiling gives the whole area a very attractive art deco vibe.
Outdoor Space adjacent to the dining area is one of the first things you'll notice walking up to check in. This area is self sufficient for hosting.
A gigantic 18 burner outdoor propane grill with buffet, a basin sink, and prep area all in stone & stainless steel. Plenty of seating, a large fire pit, and comfortably sized wet bar for large events (~30-40 people - call to check).
The Rooms have your usual amenities, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, but their beds are some of the most comfortable I've slept in. Also the outlets on the nightstand actually work . As anyone who's constantly lodging in a new location can tell you, that's actually rare. Usually you have to unplug a lamp, and slap a splitter on it to charge everything.
The Luxury Amenities are better than many. Located on the 2nd floor is a very spacious indoor pool (heated) & entertainment area, no hot tub or steam room, but they have 2 pool tables (1$ a game ) very spacious area, where multiple groups can have plenty of breathing room.
Off to the corner is a workout room with free weight dumbbells, treadmill, cycling machine, and full workout machine with plenty of weights. There's even a huge outside deck with a decent view. Also smokers don't have to go all the way down to the entrance area, very convenient for those on the 2nd floor.
Finally Vending & Laundry There's your usual Ice machine, snack, and drink vending machines. At the reception desk there's a Starbucks coffee maker with 3 flavors, CC only and runs about 2.35$ for a 12oz.
Laundry Machines are plentiful and well priced at just 2.00 for a wash and 1.00 to start the dryer. Each laundry room has 2 washers and 2 dryers and there's 1 laundry room per hallway. They even have a table for folding
I still have one more day here, and it's one day too many. Currently sitting in the front lobby where pizza boxes, drink glasses and bottles have not been cleaned up from the night before. Have to use the fold out couch bed that, when it opened, you could see old French fries and trash. The breakfast tables have dirty coffee cups and floors. I'm taking photos and sending them to the corporate office for proof!
I can't say enough good things about this lovely hotel! They were SOOO busy but took excellent care of us. We ate dinner at 10:45 PM but it was perfect. The brand new bed was super comfortable. Really clean there.
Worst hotel experience in my... The service that was given me at the front desk after they made a huge mistake that cost me a lot, was terrible, "taxi is the public transportation"...stay away from this hotel!
It was my first time to the area so I was not sure what is in the surrounding area. Hotel was very nice inside and out. Staff was friendly and very accommodating in helping us with what we needed for setting up the event that was being hosted there. Did not stay overnight, but if back in the area would definitely stay and would certainly go back for other events.
Nice place. Went to a friend's birthday party. Had a great time!
Only been there for Holiday buffets good food and service fun place
Nice hotel, we got put up here by United because of a flight delay. The room was nice and clean, though not the cleanest we've seen.
Breakfast buffet is alright for the price, very convenient.
Nices host great service breakfast. Nice customer service
Room was filthy. Blood in the shower, food behind the curtain. Manager tried to blame it on a new staff member giving us a room that was not ready. But the beds were made, new towels, even the TB was folded. And the Manager also did the transaction not the new staff member. The room that we got switched into had food under the bed. My wife decided to clean the room herself. Also we could not sleep on the last night. The hotel had work being done to the pool. It smelled like an auto body shop. The smell was so strong it was in the entire hotel and all the rooms. Almost everyone on our baseball team had to switch out of there 1st rooms because of how dirty they were or the AC didn't work. I do not recommend this hotel.
The hotel is good in cleanliness and rooms are well done. However, I thought that the food menu was limited in variety. Considering the location of the hotel, and no nearby restaurants within walking distance, there should have been a better choices in food menu. The hotel has limited place to wait after checking out and can be a problem if the hotel is a venue to any conference.
Well sited convenient to downtown Clinton, the hotel is well appointed, with more than ample parking compared to some similarly sized hotels. The staff is friendly, and numerous amenities aid the weary traveller. The rooms are spacious and modern.
Good hotel for the area with plenty of local options, internet is fast and the stay provides an excellent breakfast. If you don't feel like venturing out after arrival in the evening, the in-hotel bat and restaurant provide an acceptable yet slightly pricy solution.
Beautiful hotel, cozy and great area to stay in. They have amazing indoor pool and an area to play billiards.
Pretty & nice staff. Your mattress is so comfy! Pretty chandelier heading down the stairs. Fun at the bar & waterfall patio. Enjoyed the hot breakfast buffet.
Booked a four night stay and on the second night they had a repairman of sorts fixing the door directly across the hall from us at 11:15 pm that looked like routine maintenance. Lots of banging, walkie talkie, etc. I called the front desk and after about 20 rings they finally answered and said they would address it. At 11:40 pm noise and repair was still going on. I called again it finally stopped. I guess they don't realize that people actually check into hotels to get some sleep. Barely an apology. Other than that....nothing fancy, appears a bit dingy. Bad front desk service. Beds comfortable and appears clean enough.
Someone came into my room and stole my wallet. Either the house keeper, if you stay there....be aware!!
An ok place to stay for the business traveler.
Lacks enough ac and USB outlets in room for the modern traveler
I stopped in, no matter the cost, to get of the road in escape from the snow storm and THE ROOM WAS FREEZING ALL NIGHT! #SERIOUSLY? @$200 a NIGHT? I would consider a night comped for any date within a year as compensation coupled with an apology to be fair. $50 back?..... I feel violated to the point that i question the decision to refund an amount instead. I was SURPRISED. #BESTWESTERN
The facility and staff were great! Particularly Warren and Gogi at the front desk. Boules in the restaurant provided excellent service during supper. We stay in Holiday Inns whenever we travel, and this one was one of the best. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars was that when I woke up in the morning I noticed several large drops of dried blood on my sheet. Not mine. That was a little disturbing.
Great staff
Clean n quiet
Clean and spacious rooms. Pool is less than 4ft, never got in even though heated. Breakfast buffet is much better than most.
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. If you need something just ask and they will provide if at all possible. Restaurant, indoor pool, lounge and plenty of free parking on site.
Bedrooms are spacious and elegant the Wi-Fi is strong enough to handle my Xbox One S without glitches the in room comes with the Keurig and K-Cups for no extra charge and the mini fridge stays really cold perfect for my wine and other Foods it has a bar and restaurant on-site and the pool is large and also has pool tables and stereo system in the pool area and a really nice outside patio as well
Clean rooms, very professional. Brunch buffet was great, and ample space for professional seminars
Beautiful location. Pool. Billiards. Breakfast buffet ($11)
Clean, good location great breakfast reasonable rate
Nice enough, a little dated though. The staff try to keep it neat, but the facility's age is showing. The building's design is interesting, nice two level lobby and open area on the second floor, it was probably a big deal when it first opened. Fitness facility is very basic, just allowing them to tick the box for that; way below what you'd expect when you see the lobby and other areas.
Not a bad holiday inn. Needs a little updating, but it's still nice. Beds and ac are great, the bathroom needs a refresher. Decent amount of offering, pool looked nice. Cool outdoor area, but wasn't operating when I've been here
The rooms are good size. Regular management very helpful. The Restaurant lacks organization and the employees are very pushy. One individual absolutely did nothing for us and when my wife went to pay he demanded a tip from her. Not once but 3 times. She is a better person then I am.
Good place to relax and have a good morning breakfast.
Check in by Ms Betty was very quick and efficient. Room was clean, nice decor, restaurant staff Mr Cyle & Mr Bouis were very professional.Food was good. The bed was comfortable and spacious.Great time next time I'll definitely stay longer.Desk Manager was very kind and courteous.
I generally like Holiday Inn, and this location is better than most. The food is great, the rooms are nice, and amenities are good
Beds SO comfortable, clean, staff friendly, food ok.
Clean big rooms lots to do but icemachine not working on our floor
Nice hotel. Comfy beds, nice facilities, everything you could need while on the go. Pool, workout room, restaurant. Nice small town location, helpful staff, and great value. Overall, good place.
I'd stayed in this hotel in 2012 during my visit in Clinton, but I can see from the different pictures posted that the hotel made a lot of improvement works. I could hardly recognized the lobby, the pool area and the mini outdoor waterfall, etc. I can't wait to revisit the area and stay in that hotel again to experience the changes myself.
Friendly staff. Nice little restaurant for dinner and good breakfast buffet.
Clean hotel with all the luxuries: pool, bar, restaurant, and room service. There's a beautiful crystal chandelier on the staircase (which is very reminiscent of the dinner scene in Titanic). A lovely place for kissing or some PDA.
Very good vibes in here. Pretty expensive, but it is classy.
Horrible dirty place! We came home with bites all over our body!! I called the manager and no one got back to me! Would never recommend this place!!!
I work for a supplier that works with the hotel. I had to go there to settle some finances for work. I dealt with the front desk and two managers. Everyone was extremely polite and helpful.
Clean rooms. Comcast TV. Excellent wifi. Nice friendly staff. Location is out in the middle.
Excellent complimentary breakfast at the Oase grille in house restaurant.
Minus is no shuttle service to airport. But Uber is there.
Would recommend it for people who are visiting around the Clinton.
Very helpful staff would stay again if in the area.
Hotel is located in a beautiful town only a very shot distance to Main st. It is also very close to I-78. Rooms were nice, and mostly clean. Hotel staff were plesent and helpful. We didn't use the pool or eat at the restaurant. This is a very good option, especially for the price.
Excellent hotel with excellent staff. Restaurant inside the hotel really good. I just missed some more dessert, they just had ice cream. Very good breakfast.
I stayed at Holiday Inn, Clinton NJ for a week, in early November. I was there working with a trainer and the dog who had been trained for me as an assistance dog.
I live in Brooklyn and don't drive, normally use a wheelchair for distances. A friend drove me to New Jersey, but once there, I needed to be able to manage on my own.
I chose this hotel because it was convenient to the locations where we would be working, the rates were reasonable. It has a restaurant and also has a van available to be used for local travel.
I ate at least two meals a day at the restaurant, sparing me the need to travel too far, or very often for that purpose and the van service proved very helpful to me.
The room was comfortable and well appointed and the staff was very helpful.
The trainer was able to come with the dog and do some of our work together at the hotel.
The Holiday Inn at Clinton suited my needs very well.
I would recommend it and would stay there again, should the need arise
.
In town for a baseball tournament. Our reservation with confirmation was lost but they still managed to get us a room. The rooms weren't that great. Tub drained ultra slowly. Vents were nasty. We wouldn't stay here again to be honest unless there was nowhere else to stay. Our room was missing a towel and my wife wanted an extra pillow. The hired help that brought it was extremely friendly. I'll given them that.
Great place, clean and front desk was very friendly
The hotel staff was pleasant. Rooms were clean. Food was good.
Did a great job, felt safe with covid thing going on
In love with place and customer service. Recommend to all! Food is awesome as well !
The ac in our room didn't work so we woke up in a puddle of sweat. When I went to get ice and some cold drinks from Ice and vending room, the ice machine didn't even work. The next morning when I took a shower the temperature of the water was inconsistent and went from freezing to burning hot within seconds without me even touching the dial. The tv froze consistently every few seconds. And to top it all off the room smelled musty. Definitely not worth what we paid. I do not recommend
Just what one would expect of a Holiday Inn Express. Stayed here for conference and the food was better than expected. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Service was top notch and the bed was comfortable.
Food is fair, not great and pricey for quality. The pool is AWESOME! Warm, pretty, indoor, bring your suit. Beds comfy. TV doesn't work.
This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Don't book a room here because you might not get it. We booked a room with two double beds for my wife and teenage daughter nearly a week in advance with a credit card guarantee. When we pulled in on a Saturday night after a 15-hour round trip drive, they looked puzzled but gave us a room with only one king bed. When we said it would not work they gave us a roll away with a deep crevice across the center. Exhausted, we accepted it but took hours to get to sleep. It seemed to be the one room they set aside for wheel chair guests and was above their disco lounge. Not only did the music pound on til the early hours but boy from the room next door were running in the hall and screaming that a man whose head we could see out their door had hit him. We called several times for security and finally had to threaten to call the police before they quieted down. This place should lose their license. It rates zero stars but I had to mark 1 to make a comment.
Conference room was very cold and the seats were hard. Food was very good, though.
Clean rooms, nice environment/hotel, good bar and breakfast
8 inch pizza? I thought it would at least be ROUND. 8 inch sliver of pizza it should say. Hotel is extremely nice though. Basic rooms. Very clean. Water pressure up here on the fifth floor is atrocious. Rooms weren't cleaned daily which kind of was unfortunate. Some of the rooms aren't even fully stocked with shower towels. They can give out more at the desk as usual. All in all.... Nice hotel overall and seems pretty clean. I would stay here again. Might be kind of lacking in some aspects because of the ongoing pandemic.
Came here for a hotel stay as well as a corporate training. The hotel has a good amount of amenities, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff here were fantastic and very accommodating.
Thought that the food given for our lunch on day one was very subpar. Could've had better at a mediocre deli or a gas station. The breakfast in the morning is really quite good though.
Men's room on the main floor is antiquated, dingy, and poorly cleaned.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again as needed, but certainly you get what you pay for.
Was staying here for a wedding, there were fingernail clippings and trash from previous guests by the bed sides, top quilt and pillow had stains. Ran out of towels and toilet paper, called the desk twice before anyone picked up.The staff kept coming to the counter to talk to you without masks on. We pre paid the rooms for two days and they CALLED THE BRIDE WHILE SHE WAS ABOUT TO WALK DOWN THE ISLE TO ASK HER WHY HER STUFF WAS STILL IN THE ROOM. Any accommodations they said they were making for the wedding party never got done. Sub par hotel, to even put it in the category of hospitality is a joke
