Never disappointed whether it be afternoon tea in the lounge, dinner in Left bank or today's Sunday lunch in The Lock Bar and Restaurant. Can't fault the food or the staff

Excellent food - great range and value. The dinner buffet is amazing. Fantastic riverside setting on the Thames. There's an outdoor play area and outdoor swimming pool if the weather is nice. The conference centre is very good. Standard bedrooms are a bit standard - no air con is a bit of a let down.

Sat outside by the river and enjoyed good food. Polite staff

Great stay and great location on the river. Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was nice with a river view. Would recommend and will be returning soon.

Amazing hotel, fantastic service by staff and room cleaners, good location.

Only problem was the bathroom ceiling was full of mold.

What an incredible experience! Booked for my girlfriends birthday, and Guest Relations Manager Craig Spencer ensured every moment of our stay was magical! I cannot recommend this hotel enough, from the room to the food and gorgeous spa, the whole place is just perfect. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

It is all about the spa, the Leftbank restaurant and the people who work there. Fantastic.

Great in all respects except one. They charged us 50p for a jug of tap water! No explanation, no price stated anywhere except on the final bill itself. Shame, because I would otherwise rate our experience 5 out of 5. (Oh yes, the buffet food itself: excellent variety and quality, very well arranged. Better than expected, but I will be bringing my own bottle of water next time).

A wonderful classy hotel with fab competent staff who pay attention to every detail.. and topped by excellent food. We can't rate it highly enough! We came for a celebratory family Sunday buffet and followed it by a trip on the river. The professionalism in all aspects outdoes many other large top class hotels in this price band worldwide ... and this comes from a very well travelled couple. FAB!

We went for afternoon tea, the staff are so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. And the afternoon tea was delicious.

This hotel has a very unique and special atmosphere . Situated by the Thames, the setting is superb.

Great stay, would defiantly come back. Had an amazing massage and enjoyed the spa facilities. Especially the infa red sauna and plunge pool.

This is the best hotel in the area and I have stayed at them all. Not only is it pleasant to stay in but the staff are exceptional. Food is good, breakfast is just great...all in all this hotel is just a nice place to stay at.

This is a great location to build a hotel not too far from central London and near Heathrow.

When here do take, a mile walk to Runnymede meadows where Magna Carta was signed 800 years back.

The property is nicely built with some rooms facing Thames. The dining area extends into a courtyard.

The rooms are large and spacious. The beds are too soft for comfort.

Food at the hotel is not that great.

Really nice stylish hotel very good parking facilities, well kept grounds and the main lobby is really well set out with lots of seating and indoor/ outdoor restaurant over looking the Thames. It has a really good functions hall as well, I've been to many charity balls there now. Also they now hire out boats that you can take along the Thames which are very nice also

Very quiet and serene place. Came here for an off-site conference. Very good infrastructure for such events. Right around the historic park, and on Thames. Comfortable stay and courteous staff.

Had Afternoon Tea, good selection of sandwiches and cakes with more than enough to eat and drink. Reasonable cost. Nice location by river. Good service too with polite staff.

Lovely upmarket hotel backing onto the Thames and Lock. Good service and great food. Dog friendly terrace so great for dog walkers.

Literally won't take your money as they have no interest in your business and have to persuade the staff to get you anything. Service consistently appalling, the only positive is the location of it.

Lovely 4 star hotel. Staff happy and friendly and very helpful. Food in left Bank is buffet style, good choice too. Starters are the best, mains are OK, same for desserts. Lounge/bar is very comfortable and large. Super outside seating area over looking the Thames. Spa is very nice and relaxing.

Nice view. Coffee just standard hotel rubbish but worth it for the Riverside garden.

I booked the half day spa experience and while are the treatment that that I got was lovely I felt it was very overpriced for just a regular Leisure Centre they offer you a cake with coffee and other little refreshments during the few hours but the cake was horrible and certainly not what I would have chosen
They should have some kind of relaxation room or meditation room if there was one I wasn't aware of it

An excellent weekend and wedding reception. Nice hotel located right on the bank of the Thames at Egham.

Well furnished throughout, with excellent food and very good staff who are genuinely friendly and seem to be happy in their work.

The only downsides are that it's very busy and the standard rooms are a bit small.

I met somebody for coffee at the hotel. The staff were very helpful and the atmosphere very relaxed. I would choose to meet somebody there in future.

Had a excellent afternoon food good and service was very good the waitress who served us was lovely.

My partner and I spent a night at the hotel with breakfast included. Lunch was not so fresh (the crisps in particular they were soggy) but the breakfast was delicious and great service. Regarding the room I can say that it was lovely decorated but some dust and spiderwebs. Overall we had a pleasant stay

Had a lovely relaxing stay here. All of the staff are very welcoming and ready to help. Had dinner and breakfast at leftbank which was a delicious buffet style with lots to choose from. Would recommend having a facial as the staff are very kind and professional and you feel relaxed. The rooms were lovely, not the most modern but very clean and comfortable making you feel welcome. The bed was extremely comfortable so had a wonderful nights rest. Wifi was very good and so could enjoy going on my phone. Steam room was very enjoyable as was the jacuzzi. Nice towels in the pool facilities but open changing room. Would recommend staying during the week as on Saturday the pool facilities were very busy and Sunday breakfast had a lot of people so slightly manic and the staff seemed a bit rushed off their feet.

Lovely hotel. Rooms spacious and well fitted. Shower amazing and lovely toiletries. Little things like robes and slippers in the room make it a luxurious experience to moderate price. Breakfast plentiful and staff helpful. The spa is a lovely addiron to make the visit special. Riverside setting rounds off an amazing stay.

Went to a big event there. Staff extremely good and polite. Room really nice as we got an upgrade. Only reason not five stars is the spuds weren't cooked but catering for 280 people is tough. Highly recommended.

Great hotel. Food was good, room nicely appointed with a huge TV, comfortable bed and a good standard of cleanliness. One point to note - lots of sockets, so often I struggle to find more than one conveniently located socket in a hotel room.

Having been a member of the spa for 18 years I use the lounge bar. It has a friendly atmosphere which is enhanced by the staff. This is mainly to it being run by Archie over the past few years. He is friendly, courteous and always makes you feel more than welcome with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble for him. He is an asset to the Runnymede. Lee. Five Star Windscreens

What a lovely spa-day experience. Will highly recommend and will definitely get more bookings lined up.

We had an overnight stay, which was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful in every area of the hotel. Our room (a standard double) had a lovely view over the Thames and was very comfortable (a bit hot but the weather was unseasonably mild). Food in The Lock was excellent, breakfast good quality and varied and spa/ pool one of the best I've seen - 18m pool with a section for those wanting to swim lengths. Yes, it's next to the motorway so there is noise if you open the windows, but don't let that put you off - the hotel is great. We will definitely return.

If you are looking for a wedding venue look no further the Runnymede On Thames is absolutely perfect.
We had our wedding here on 20th October 2018 the most amazing day ever, the hotel and the location is stunning we couldn't have asked for better weather the photos are amazing. Hollie dealt with all our wedding planning and arrangements and Will looked after us on the day they were both amazing and worked so hard to make our day run smoothly nothing was too much trouble for them. A massive thank you to Hollie, Will and the rest of the team you were all amazing thank you for everything and making our day one to remember.

Highly recommend afternoon tea. Good variety sandwiches , cakes. Nicely presented with glass champagne , tea and coffee. Staff very pleasant and efficient. Was surprised birthday present for partner. Small chocolate with candle and happy birthday written in white chocolate.
Very good value. Lovely view over Thames. Highly recommend.

We visited this place as part of a business meeting and had a truly great experience. The first look might not be the best but the inside is fantastic. The decorations are superb, the staff are courteous and helpful a d the restaurant is a delight. The food is superb made from fresh ingredients and is deliciously prepared. There is a great variety and some superb choice. From start to finish it's a great experience.
