This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at in the UK, there is a reason it is 5 star. The room service is fast and the food is to a high quality

Went with my wife to celebrate her birthday. So disappointed. Our friends have had a lovely time here and recommended it, especially the breakfast. We arrived early (just after 11:00) for coffee, then lunch, (which they said on the phone we didn't have to book in advance) but only one table free, til 1pm when we arrived. Took 15 minutes to order coffee on an app! We were going to go for a walk and come back for lunch, so they said they should be able to seat us in the restaurant. Now its chucking it down with rain (not their fault) so decided to see if we could check in early. They'd upgraded our room (lovely) but due to the low head count they will be serving a continental breakfast in our room!!! Wife was so upset! She said, "It's my birthday and my friends said how lovely the breakfast is, sitting looking out at the river. I am not eating a continental in my room." And she burst into tears. Told me to get a refund and walked to the car. They've now offered a chef to come in and cook specially for her! No way. Makes her look more of a brat. Why don't they cook for everyone then? We feel sick with disappointment. Got refund. Going home.

Lock Bar ok and restaurant good but the place is so up its own rear.....

What a place right on the river and just off M25 so easy to get too. The food is fantastic and such a selection. 10 minutes from Heathrow so ideal for staying at before flying out. The rooms are so Cosy and homely and the staff go the extra mile. Can I not give it 6 stars

Bought a massage treatment for my mum's birthday and we had such a lovely time. The staff were so friendly and professional. Feel absolutely fantastic and so relaxed. Will definitely be going back again.

Outstanding food, really friendly staff, great facilities and perfectly kept. We eat here regularly and are never disappointed, and the bar/seating area by the river is beautiful in the evenings. You wont regret it.

We went for massage, service was excellent. The massage rooms have been temporarily moved but the ladies there did their best with accommodating the change. Massage was awesome and we will definitely go back.

The food wasn't great but service and facilities very nice!

Stayed here for a wedding. Staff were all great, but the room was a bit dated and the mattress was 'very' soft.

The Runneymede is in a lovaly location by the Thames, with fantastic staff, great food and a wonderful atmosphere. We had a lovely room overlooking the river at the rear of the hotel. The room was a decent size, had great facilities and they even left us a card and chocolates as we were celebrating our anniversary (we had our reception at the hotel too).

Made use of the outdoor pool as well as some spa treatments, which were upstairs as they are refurbishing the spa treatment rooms at the moment but this was still really good, and Erica gave me a wonderful massage.

Had lunch at the Left Bank which was amazing and breakfast there this morning too which was great. Service is really good, the waiting staff are really on the ball.

Can't fault it at all, I'd highly recommend this hotel and Spa.

I had my wedding here in June in the Riverside suite which was amazing. The staff were all amazing and could not of had a better wedding and stay. Thank you.

Lovely big beds and bathroom. Teensy weensy wardrobe. Not cheap.

Wonderful hotel and amazing location by the river. Great staff ! Been there for 4 weeks during a business training and everything was great. Thanks food at the Buffet could be more various though.

Stress buster pamper day was marvellous. You can book and attend classes that are run on that day, use the swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and plunge pool. This package included a two course lunch and free tray bake. One treatment of either an ESPA full body aromatherapy massage with hot stones or an ESPA aromatherapy facial with hot stones. Both these treatments were excellent. The food was delicious with a good choice and the facilities are modern and well kept with free use of shampoo, conditioner, body wash. You can also use the gym. Thoroughly recommend.

Very good afternoon tea for 15 people and reasonably priced. Superb view of the river Thames.

Good rooms even if small, but fully equipped. Pretty quiet rooms. High std of cleaning. High attention to customer satisfaction. Just ask and everything will be supported. Buffet restaurant very well run, quality variety of choices, and fantastic location looking at the river. A la carte restaurant too noisy and standard quality. Great spa and gym facilities. Overall a comfortable stay even for a long period

Nice hotel good food plenty of safe parking only some rooms have views of river mine had rooftop and carpark . I did feel room was quite small for price paid but was clean though. Only here one night for work so ok for me. River view would be lovely on a sunny day.

Very nice atmosphere, the buffet lunch is very nice. Plenty to choose from and you don't feel pressured into eating you food quickly.

Food is good. The experience is good. Only thing is hotel feels OLD. Other than it's a good hotel.

Fab place to hold an event. Friendly, helpful staff and lots of parking.

Nice location on the banks of the river Thames. The hotel has popular spa and meeting/conference facilities which means car parking can be difficult on busy days

Great hotel with easy access to the M25 & Heathrow. Set by the river, great views from the Lounge.

The hotel staff from receptionists and restaurant staff to room service staff were polite, professional and helpful.
The room, tastefully decorated, was very compact, especially for a couple.
The breakfast didn t offer anything that was worth mentioning.
However, the swimming pool and Spa facilities were definitely value for money.

The restaurant has a great view over river Thames. It also has a high standard of food quality which makes every penny worth spending. The only downside is the remote location and its lack of public transport.

Leftbank Restaurant. Delicious food at a reasonable price

Excellent buffet lunch at Leftbank restaurant, as always. We noted on the booking that one of our group has an allergy and without asking the waitress offered to show us which items were to be avoided. The chef also came out later to explain the desserts. This is a great place for groups such as family celebrations.

Evening out at the left bank for dinner, with a group of six we easily managed to book a reservation before hand and even on the day were given the option to move elsewhere if needs be. The food is of high quality and whilst there's is not a wide selection there is always something for everyone. The leftbank restaurant has a great aesthetic to it and is a family favourite. Another point to mention is that staff at the Runneymede are friendly if not a little talkative yet the service is sharp and responsible.

The only issue ever is the lack of choice with main courses at the buffet, however the extensive range of desserts more than makes up if you have room to spare.

Private rooms available for your own conference or reception/lunch. The buffet for our lunch was very very good and the view from the suite was excellent. Staff very helpful. A perfect venue for the occasion.

Fabulous all-you-can-scoff dinner buffet! Fine dining in buffet style with a huge mouth-watering range of tasty starters, mains and desserts. Staff on hand were plentiful and helpful. Great place to celebrate any occasion as we did (party of 14).

Good place for business meetings, with easy access to M25

Only had evening drinks to catch up with friends but a perfect meeting point, nice atmosphere, comfortable seating and quiet enough to socialise properly. Clean and classy, would be great place for a first date.

Perfect for relaxing few days with Partner family kids, friends , friendly staff , ideally located by riverside definately a place we will return

The event I attended run very smoothly. The staff paid close attention to detail and ensured everyone was pleased. Can't wait to visit the Runnymede hotel again.
