Runnymede Hotel & Spa Review

Nice lounge area. I just had coffee, and it was dire! 2nd star because it was replaced without issue, but the replacement whilst being better was still not good.

We had a really good weekend. Staff was amazing, food and service was excellent. The Spa facility was top notch too. We had a brilliant time. They even upgraded our room as it was our wedding anniversary. Only reason I am giving it a 4 star is our room's bathroom flush worked really poorly. We didn't complain, I am sure if we did, they would have resolved this quickly. Did I mention the service and the staff are absolutely brilliant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea. Thank you for a special afternoon.

The food is always fresh and tasty, staff members provides fantastic customer service. I really like how neat it is and mood. Will come visit again.

Nice setting next to the Thames, attended a lunch event which had good food, but lacked obvious items such as butter for bread rolls and cutlery!. Staff helpful and attentive.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here. Clean, friendly with fantastic design, The food was fantastic and our room was clean and quiet. The perfect stay which we both needed very much. Thank you!

Just spent an afternoon there with friends. Treatments were good and delicious afternoon tea. View of Thames from the terrace, good place to sit for a drink or two!

I went there for lunch with my team. The place is very chic. Staff is very friendly and food is lovely. Quite pricey place

Visited with girlfriend's family for Sunday lunch, the choices of meet was excellent, good for family's and excellent parking.... only reason it didn't get a five star is we found the gravy and Yorkshire puddings of a lower standard than the rest of the food on offer......

Been coming here with my son's anti-natal group for a Mums weekend away for 19 years. The spa, the dinner, the hot tub by the Thames, and especially the famous buffet breakfast are wonderful. We took a walk to the Runnymede Magna Carta along the river and experienced the amazing sculptures and Writ in Water. Really not to be missed.

Very expensive but very comfortable place to have a coffee while charging your car. Super bacon sandwich from the bar.

The place is really nice. Close to M25. We were there for a wake. When we arrived, we discovered a total nightmare to park. It was busy but cars had parked over two spaces or had parked so bad we couldn't get our cars parked. Rolls, 4x4, porche, Bentley vehicles doing their own thing. So sod the rest of us. The wake was in The Event building. Food and service very good.

Nice venue and surrounding with good covid precautions. However, the service was a little slow for just coffee.

This was an amazing place. The staff where super helpful and catered for all our needs. The food was amazing. Can't get over how lovely the buffet was and how they kept it stock all lunch. Can't thank the staff enought for all they did for our large party. We will all be back there very soon for another amazing sunday lunch.

Clean and well run hotel. Room was cozy. Prices are slightly high for food and drink.

Easy to reserve a table. Staff looked after us all and gave good information about their services.

Hotel is located in a beautiful area by the river. You can rent a boat and have a short cruise on Thames. The food is amazing and staff really friendly and helpful.

Beds are so comfy that you don t want to get up in the morning! The only downside is a weird smell in the room. A smell of an old wardrobe - not the sweet one where your grandma would hide sweets and liquor but one that your greedy, grumpy and old uncle would have in his bedroom.

Hotel beautifully situated between the M25 (convenient) and the Thames (lovely), a stone's throw from Heathrow.

The afternoon tea here is amazing. We have visited multiple times and are yet to be disappointed. The hotel is beautiful and elegant but the environment is relaxed and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Was at a wedding reception at this lovely hotel. All went very well. We were suprised the drinks were not too expensive for the location it is. Looking forward to come back for lunch.

Popped in for a quick drink as I was walking past. Great staff.

Initial impressions were just a thin veneer. We were greeted on Arrival by Marcin who was keen to help with the bags. We had prebooked 2 rooms for a Sunday afternoon 1400 garunteed checkin. The check in process was friendly and we were told the rooms were not ready (1330) fair enough outside to the terrace for a quick drink... After being told rooms would be another 45 minutes at 1415, we were not the only guests waiting.... , spoke with the Duty Manager who found some rooms housekeeping had "finished"work on... The whole hotel has a grubby feel, the carpet in the rooms were greasy.... Housekeeping blocked the tiny lift and the corridors... Noisy public areas with high children count... Not a pleasurable stay....

This restaurant is my favorite. I go to plenty of restaurants but here I keep coming back again and again. The crew is very friendly and the food they cook is so fresh and tasty. I would always prefer to have a good meal here. I recommend this place with pleasure.

We went for a buffet dinner, there was a very good variety of food available and it was all delicious, finish that off with the fact that we sat outside on the side of the Thames it was amazing!

Restaurant very pricy. Waiters and Waitresses are fantastic and friendly. The Spa experience left me floating on air. Amazing.

Very nice, very good service. The rooms were quite small, but that may be typical in the area. The food in the two restaurants was very tasty as well.

We were checking the hotel for an event. It is well laid out, pretty big, rooms are expensive as they only have a few of the cheaper entry level type. Fantastic setting next to the Thames. Hopefully the event will be 5 star.
