Wonderful service and you can t beat their prices! Staff - especially Felipe & Anthony - are professional, courteous and very helpful! It took us less time to buy our car than it did to just get a price from another dealership. Highly recommend Royal Honda

This is one of the sleaziest dealerships that only cares about taking your money. We bought a Honda Pilot here and we went through many troubles with them trying to rip us off. We finally complained to Honda Corporation to get Royal's attention. Their service folks are also sleazy folks who are not looking to help you but to get out of things they should be covering under warranty. These guys are a black mark on the Honda brand name. Cant believe Honda still lets them operate under their brand name. Their management NEVER returns customer phone calls. That tells you everything you need to know about the apathy of this place.
PLEASE AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!!

My first time owning a Honda.

My first time leasing a vehicle.

Jared Hotard, could not have made this any better of an experience.
I had a lot of reservations going in as it was my first time purchasing a new and not used vehicle. I was also unsure of the leasing process.

From my first inquiry through e-mail to the last handshake, Jared and his staff made my experience at Royal Honda one that I will never forget. I will be back for my future vehicles and I will be referring friends and family to this dealership.

Thanks again to all of the people at Royal Honda, especially Jared Hotard and their wonderful customer service.

My wife and I recently purchased two vehicles at Royal Honda in Metairie. I must tell you, these guys really gave us great service. Scott Usher, Senior Sales Consultant, was a pleasure to work with--a very professional and knowledgeable fellow. In addition, he was always there afterward with a follow up phone call and/or email to see how we were doing and thank us again. We were so pleased with our experience that we went back to see Scott when my wife decided to get a Honda as well. The finance managers were great too, making sure everything was easy and stress free. We will definitely refer anyone we know looking for a quality vehicle to Royal Honda. Great Job Guys!!

DO NOT GET SERVICE HERE. AVOID COMPLETELY. Tried to sell for $1,500 a new VSA on my $5k car. The shop that ACTUALLY fixed my car (See SANTOS AUTOMOTIVE by WF on Broad) told me it was a corrosion issue with the harness and repaired it for $45. When we refused Royal's BS service and they returned my car, the speedometer was broken. Of course they claimed it was not them although it was in one piece when I went in for service. And even though there was a TSA on that item they would not fix it. I avoid writing negative reviews because I think it sucks spreading negativity but THIS place should get ZERO stars. I don't know about the dealership, but the mechanics are super shady, from the manager on down.

My 2017 CRV instrument panel has been scratched since I purchased it. Was advised to clean with eyeglass cloth. Now scratched again and looks horrible. They refuse to change saying it's not warranted! 2 years old and not covered with 14k miles WTF! As far as Customer Relations they are the WORSE. My 4th Honda and as a very loyal Customer this will be my last. Royal get your Sh@@ together!

Horrible!! Horrible!! Service. Brought my CRV in for oil change and maintenance and a problem with AC not blowing cold air. My car is only 2 years old brand new still and is still under warranty they are blaming me for something happening to my air condenser and are saying it's not covered under warrranty. That is a load of bull!!! It's a brand new car and they should fix my AC. Very disappointed with Royal Honda. First time coming here and my husband and I were going to trade in our cars with Royal Honda but guess what thanks to there service department they just lost 2 car sales. We will never be coming back here for any thing again!!

If I can give zero stars i would. Disappointing service. I was really hurt by y'all .What's the point having a warranty on your new vehicle and give you a run around with who or how to fix any problems that come about your vehicle. We waited about an hour and half on who was going to fix our needs. I think they had wanted us to leave instead of helping us. I kept walking back and forth to the salesman and to the people in auto parts. Beware before you buy a new vehicle be sure you check underneath the hood and make sure from dashboard to end the of vehicle for any problems. The woman that was working in the scheduling department did not want to acknowledge and to look up knowing that we were standing there like a couple of dodos. Now I would not recommend to any of my friends or family to buy any vehicle from you and I will do same in the future. I will not be back. You have lost my business.

I will never deal with Roysl Honda again. The trouble I have gone through with the trade in of my car is ridiculous. First the paper work and license plate were not turned in on time and correctly so now I am fighting a flag on my license due to them not doing their work properly. Also been receiving calls for other issues with the car being sold under my name. I have to take time out my schedule to sit at the DMV to take care of this because of Royal Honda.

Add $300 to whatever price Royal Honda says the car is. That's something they call a "convenience charge", which apparently is a fee you pay to them just for selling you the car. So, a pretty awesome place to go it you like hidden fees and buying used cars whose mechanical problems are not disclosed before sale despite an on-site service department.

The only bright spot of my experience with this organization was salesman Ed Aupied who was a true gentleman and who I would hope moves on to an organization that values its customers more before he becomes tainted by Royal Honda's reputation.

Also, stay away from the in-house financing.

After dealing with OBVIOUS shady car salesmen at plenty of other New Orleans dealerships. I had a nice car search at Royal Honda. Car salesman Jeff worked with me. He was very friendly and respectful, didn't pressure me into buying any car. I gave him a price range and he went straight to showing me the nice selection of clean pre-owned cars. He was very knowledgeable and worked with me on getting the best price for the car that I chose. I rolled out in a 2012 Honda Civic (first car!) and I love it :). The financing is quick for the most part. The whole search and financing took about 3-4 hours. Definitely recommending to anyone looking for a car, especially a Honda.

I am in NOLA visiting family. My car died X 2 in one week. Got it to Royal Honda where it died again. Was greeted by a very nice young man who immediately helped with writing the service order and then I was approached by Eric. He asked questions about the date i purchased my last battery. I didn t know. He suggested I call my dealership in Texas to get a copy of the receipt faxed to him. I was left to contact Classic Honda in Galveston, Texas and spoke to Russell in the parts department. He needed the part number for the battery. A very nice young lady approached me to ask if I needed help. I told her the situation and she said she would see what she could do. Between the young man who greeted me originally and this young lady I was able to acquire the part number and give my dealership in Texas the model number as well as the manufacturer date off the battery. Once I told the young lady the date of purchase she assured me no worry was necessary that the battery was fully covered under the warranty. What a relief. Eric has the young man/steward install the new battery and I was on my way. Great service.

Disappoint that we did click to ask for Royal Price. No response for 3 days. So we went in to look at the car on that internet price. Unfortunately, that price went up and won't honor the internet price we saw like other dealers we have gone. Lost my respect to them.

I had an unexpected repair and they were able to work me into their busy holiday schedule much quicker than I thought. I dropped my car off using the night drop. Roy Sellers was my contact in the service department. He sent me a text message by 8:30a letting me know that they had gotten the car in, then each step of the way through pickup. He kept me informed at each point. I appreciated that most. I have always had an amazing experience working with the folks on their service department. I really appreciate Mr. Sellers and his hands on approach to the customer. It makes such a difference in planning my day with repairs/service. Thank you!

Quick, easy experience. Just dropped my car off for an oil change and tire rotation. Initial appt was for 9:45am. Car was ready at 11:05am. They took care of every detail, from multi-point inspection to tire inflation. Sentinel program took care of everything but the tire rotation. This is my second positive experience with routine maintenance on my 2018 Accord!

Luis was awesome! During my service he kept me updated and recommended some issues that needed addressing. However, he had to leave for the day and someone else was responsible for closing my ticket.

He called me from afar like an animal. He walked off before I could see where he was going and his gaze was rude. Thank goodness he wasn't the last person to speak with me. The cashier was kind the guy who asked me if he could pull my car 10 feet closer was a gentleman. The service tech who sang an old school Motown song told me thank you for my business. Thank goodness more people were going beyond the service of my vehicle. It's the reason I skipped going to Honda of Slidell where I purchased my vehicle. Kind people is the reason I skipped going to Premier Honda in the East. I hate the West bank so that's out. But I chose this dealership because of all the great service especially when I spent $280.00 in less than 2 hours. I dont get paid close to that but I expect professionalism. Thanks Luis and the rest of the team for doing a great job!

After another dealership in town double-booked my service appointment and told me I would have to wait 4 hours Before they could take my car, I drove to Royal Honda for assistance. Even though I didn t have an appointment with Royal Honda, they were prompt, courteous, and very helpful. Even though they were quite busy, they were able to squeeze my car in for service, and addressed some unrelated minor issues with my car at no charge. I was very satisfied with the service and communication.

Our experience today at Royal Honda was really frustrating, to the point that we will probably not be taking our cars there to be worked on in the future. Loyal customers with at least two autos for the last 15 years, today we were questioned again and again - to the point that it felt like an interrogation - about just what the estimate was that was given to us over the phone for a luggage carrier rack on our Honda Pilot.

When we reported and repeated that the cost was to be $88 plus labor, because we had already had the rails on the car, the representative continued to press that that was impossible and that the cost should be over 200 for parts alone. It was most frustrating to hear this person repeat in the end that he was doing us a favor and that it was coming out of his money or account or some thing. Was he trying to make us feel guilty or bad for expecting what we were told? This individual was especially unprofessional, and on top of taking 4 1/2 hours when we were told it would only take two, we will not be going back.

Honest! Friendly! No nonsense, they don t fight for a sale, they make sure you are happy. We wanted a blue odyssey van but all they had on the lot were basic colors. They found us a blue van in the model we were looking for and had it delivered the same day! Best customer service and very patient! We will continue to use Royal Honda for future car purchases!

Honestly the entire sales experience was nice and good. Thoroughly worked through and listened to, but post purchase service was bad. They re really bad at communicating in terms of phone calls, emails and voicemails. With that they re bad at explaining certain things with us. We waited to be notified on the spare key for pick up but never got contacted about picking it up. Not until I called did they say they would order it and be ready for pick up the week after. Week after came and the service department said they need to order parts to make the key after they told us to wait an hour and a half for it. Two weeks later got an email saying the key was ready for pick up but denied us at first when we went to pick it up until proof of email was shown until they actually went to look for it. Even then made us wait another hour to program it to the car. Honestly, we had no clue what efforts it took into developing and creating a spare key because it wasn t explained in any way to us so as a lay person, when we hear ready for pick up , we think exactly that. Not waiting around to be told it s not ready or ordered or done yet then getting the run around when we finally pick it up. I had a lot of friends that have had the same experiences here where the sale goes well and good but communication on everybody s part just really sucks post sale. Honestly wouldn t go back due to so much inconvenience and miscommunication. Makes me and my parents feel invaluable as customers, because of all they went through and did to convince us to buy the car then not being well-communicated with after kind of sucks. Oh yea and after we got the car it rained the next day and that s when we found out that the windshield wipers were bad.

I had the most wonderful experience buying a used car at Royal Honda in Metairie! Nat, Danny, and Anthony were exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. They answered all questions that I had and treated me as if they were working on getting this car for a family member of theirs. I was impressed and awed at their excellent customer service. I have heard so many horror stories from people buying cars off of a lot and was somewhat intimidated buying my first car. These guys really took care of me. I absolutely love my new 2015 Honda Civic! I would recommend taking the time to check out their lot. You will not be disappointed by their great service!

I asked to have 1. A recall item taken care of, 2. A tail light lens, 3. A new battery as mine was 4 years old. They made an appointment to see me. I asked if they had parts for the tail light, the recall, and a battery. I was told that they did. We scheduled the appointment. They changed the battery. They did not have parts for the fuel pump recall or the tail light lens. We rescheduled to do the two remaining items once parts were ordered and available. Which is why I haven t responded to the incessant requests to leave feedback about my experience. To be continued.

I have always gone to Royal Honda for all of my tune ups and regularly scheduled maintenance. This time was different in the best of ways. There was a fault within my passenger air bag. While I had to wait on the parts to ship I am giving five stars because the team had consistently communicated with me what was going on with my vehicle every step of the way. They even honored the extended warranty that I purchased with the car. I highly recommend royal Honda as they have consistently given excellent service.
