I met friends here for lunch for the first time. The food came out quickly but my drink wasn't refilled until it was time to leave. My soup had oily puddles on the surface. Despite the appearance, I took a bite. It tasted spoiled. The server quickly removed it from the bill without me even asking. However, when the check came I was charged for a full sandwich (I only ordered a half). Service was so inattentive, I didn't want to bother with a bill adjustment. I paid nearly $16 (plus tip) for one soda, a very small side of fries, and half a greasy grilled cheese. Go elsewhere.

The restaurant has more outside seating then inside. It was a beautiful day so it was perfect. The food was very good & served by Luke. I had a Ruben & my friend had the veggie flatbread which she said was very good. They may not be open during winter so check before going.

Great food! When my wife and I want they had a bunch of seafood for their dinner options and both of our dishes were top notch. Will be going back again!

17 dollars for 4 shrimp and rice.Excellent staff and great overall atmosphere but either portions or prices need to be adjusted...I understand who this market is for(the millionaires next door) and I don't mind paying for experience and/or exclusivity however what was provided for the price payed was out of balance.

Upscale dining in the heart of Aspinwall. Good is very good and the staff are very nice. They just opened an outdoor bar!

Very environment friendly and outdoor eating is always a +. Dinner is little pricey, however I love their lunch. They still serve lunch menu for dinner.

Perfect place to have lunch on a sunny day. Great outdoor seating. Sandwiches, soups, and wraps are perfect.

Totally overpriced. Horrible atmosphere. Terrible service, worse managers. We went here to celebrate my wife's birthday. The owner was completely drunk, be was being loud and obnoxious and scaring my youngest daughter. We asked the mgr,Lou, if he could say something to quiet the owner down, and he said that's just how he is. Lou and The owner were talking about footfall gambling all night watching The game, hooting and hollaring. The food was sub par, the meat tasted frozen, the greens were all brown. We left and went over to the Corner Stone which is a restaurant across the street for dessert, but ended up eating dinner there too. If you enjoy over paying for Eat N Park quality food, surrounded by a drunkwm Frat party staff this is your place.

If u want great food look no further great service the owners son is on top of things at all times

Caught a last bite before they close for Winter! Portabello grilled sandwich was as delectable as their crispy, non-greasy french fries!!! Excellent server, don't remember his name, but he was so pleasant, and just the right amount of attentive!

Pros: Good food, friendly staff and nice outdoor seating! Cons: Drinks are weak and expensive and food is a little overpriced. Overall a good option in Aspinwall.

Fantastic service. Had the crispy Kale and shrimp wrap, subbed oit shrimp for portabella mushroom. Amazing homemade potato chips. Love this place. Will be back.

Portions are large, but pricey. I had panko fish today. The breading was dark (overcooked). For the price, about $11 for a sandwich and homemade chips, food needs to be nearly perfect every time. Service was excellent though, and the ambiance is pleasant.

No place for blacks they let people bring dogs while people are eating way to high for there cheap no flavor food.

I have tried this place several times and it's always the same...owner is always yelling. Servers are slow and socialize rather than doing their job. Worst of all the cook doesn't listen and prepares food the way he thinks you should eat it. Prices are pretty steep for raw food and terrible service.

The cafe was elegant for a small cafe. The menu was simple. The front porch setting was also simple. If you're looking for a simple lunch consisting of a soup, salad, or sandwich, Luke and Mike's Front Porch is the cafe to visit. I had the grilled veggie salad topped with shrimp, and my husband had the burger, and both were delicious.

The servers were friendly, and accommodating to my food allergies.

Great spot if you enjoy sitting outside (hence "Front Porch" in the restaurant name). Went for lunch and the food was tasty, timely, and staff was tentative and polite. Perfect menu with enough options, but not too many to make it a difficult decision on what to order. Would definitely go again.

Had an enjoyable evening dining here! An honest mistake was made with my bill, charging my card twice. I called the restaurant and spoke with Lou. Not only did he fix the problem but he personally delivered. Now that is customer service! Thanks Lou!

Atmosphere was alright, tight space. Had some small plates that were overpriced for the portion size.

Mike and Luke s is closed during the deep winter months. But Sherry delivers weekly wonderful heart warming soups to our door during those dark months and greets the opening of the restaurant with a full summer of great gazpacho not to be missed! The food is equally delectable from apps to main dishes.

Food very good. Asked the waiter if there was a lighter menu. He told us no. We saw someone eating a sandwich and asked how they were able to order a sandwich. Found out waiter could have given us another menu but decided he would tell us there were only dinner entrees. He wasn't attentive either. Didn't get the sauces we asked for with our dinners and had to wait. Food was cold bybtge time he brought everything

Great patio, friendly and attentive servers, seasonal cocktail menu, and varied food selection with something for everyone. Definitely recommend this place!

I had lunch at Luka and Mikes last week and had a delicious lunch. The service is quick and the atmosphere was comfortable and appealing. They expanded the porch and build a new outside bar with ample seating.
There is a large screen TV at the bar and a view of a beautiful mural someone painted.

Food was ok.. Not great by any means.. I was customer profiled. I am a server myself, so I understand the business. I am biracial, so I did not get good service at all. No welcome, no smile, no refill and the wrong side item. I did not even complain. After I left a good tip regardless of the poor service, then the server started to be nice.. Typical..

The food was excellent, wine and beer selection very good and service was exceptional. My in-laws remarked several times what a nice place and what a great experience they had. We had been meaning to stop in for a while and will definitely be back.

I always love the Luke and Mike's. It's in the quaint town of Aspinwall, and resides in an old train station. What could be more adorable?

I love the atmosphere, the coziness and the very friendly staff. I love the fact that it has a fireplace. Most restaurants do not have a fireplace.

I've lived in the area all my life, gave Mike & Luke's a 2nd chance this past weekend, it was more out of convenience as my prior time visiting was a disaster, ......and we loved it, I loved it. I was impressed with the seasonal items, my wife really enjoyed the soups, turns out they offer some sort o soup club, but my wife is going to be a regular for their soups alone. The service was outstanding as was the food. We will be back as this time blew my last experience away. Everyone has an off day, this time was magnificent

I LOVE this place! It is a weekly stop for me. Great food, great service, excellent martinis, & they just finished their new patio bar, which is FANTASTIC!! Stop by, bring your dog, enjoy the scenery & have a sip & a bite!

The turkey wrap is perfection. I'd eat here a lot more often if you could get it for dinner, but sadly it is only on the lunch menu. I've never had anything else, why bother.

Just left there, left most of our food behind, tried to eat it, no one seemed concerned that we didnt enjoy our meal. Server was more like a surfer to the point of f-words going around the dining room. Both dishes were too salty (tuna worse) and absolutely everything on that menu felt overpriced, except the $2 yuengling that we must have got lucky on and ordered a special.

Cozy atmosphere--friendly people--Fabulous food! We LOVE the fish--best around --My husband--not a fish person--but can't wait to go back--he ate most of mine! LOL

I chose this place based on reviews and location for my birthday. July 5th and not busy at all. Menu is on the small side, but they offered us lunch or dinner menus. My friend had the steak burger, my hubby the shrimp linguini and I had the filet with blue cheese crust. All of us were VERY satisfied! We would all order the same meal again, and we are picky. The service was amazing! We had Lou taking care of us, and he was extremely attentive, and I can be hard on servers. He filled my Diet Coke no less than 6 times. He was personable, and he knew the menu and food thoroughly. Honestly, I read some reviews about not good service here. If the owner is reading my post, you should have Lou be supervisor and trainers of service, and maybe those reviews will improve. We will be back, for sure!

Loved the outdoor seating and casual atmosphere. The menu is small but a diverse offering. Each thing we ordered was fresh and delicious. The cauliflower appetizer was a favorite.

Menu was small and unimpressive. The wait staff wasn't bad but by no means would I consider it to be good service. He (server) was clearly uninterested & kept dragging his feet while he walked which squeaked so obnoxiously.

A hidden gem in one of Pittsburgh finest communities! I love how the menu changes with seasons, top marks to the chef for their rendition on classic combinations. Highly recommend this place for any occasion.

Dinner options are always amazing. Definitely have to jump around the menu because the seasonal changes are always fun.
