Ricardo gave great service and was very knowledgeable! Not overly aggressive (A+) and the whole team kindly put up with our toddler running around being a toddler throughout the process. Overall we had a wonderful experience and we love our new car!
Roy from Royal Honda was wonderful throughout my whole experience, as was the cashier and everyone I spoke with. I first talked with Roy on the phone, scheduling my appointment and he answered several questions I had re. my planned service. He then met me at my car when I arrived at Royal Honda and showed me the amenities available to me while I waited. He came back and checked in with me, discussed what my car needed, and the pricing, and then later took me to the cashier, answering all of my questions. Once again, Royal Honda has been a wonderful experience, and I feel I was treated great and my car is once again roadworthy for awhile. I also really appreciate the "social distancing" in the waiting area, and that everyone was masked at all times, to keep us all safe. (Oct. 2020) Thanks, Royal Honda, and Roy!

This was my first service on my new Honda Pilot. My appointment was for 10am. I arrived a few minutes early and drove right into the service garage where my service adviser met me immediately. My car only needed an oil / filter change and tire rotation. Eric, my adviser, said service would take about 1 hour to complete. I received a call at 10:40am that work was complete. Everyone was very friendly and professional with extremely efficient servicing. I was very pleased with my first experience.

I recently purchased a new Honda Accord from Royal and was very pleased with the entire transaction. I contacted Royal through the Internet and received a very competitive quotation for the car. I passed by the dealer and drove the car and felt very little pressure from the sales person. I had very little time and one of the salesmen drove the car I was considering to my wife's office so that she could see it and give me her opinion. Once I decided on the car and agreed to the price, they made the visit to finalize the deal as painless and quick as possible. I would highly recommend Royal Honda if you are considering a Honda purchase.

My husband and I recently purchased a 2017 CRV from Royal Honda and couldn't be happier. We did shop around a little bit, but Jared Hotard made every effort (and succeeded) at getting us what we wanted at the price we were hoping for. He spent so much time with us explaining all the features and yet never once made me feel like he was pushing to make any decisions. I honestly felt like he wanted to give us the information we needed in order to make our own decision. What really made me want to write this review though, is the fact that he personally brought the license plate and registration to our house! I highly recommend Jared at Royal if you are considering a Honda.
Special appreciation to our service advisor Ms. Kortney Hebert for her attention to the problem with our CRV. Her tactical knowledge and excellent customer relation skills resulted in successful repairs to the CRV. She was very responsive to our concerns and she kept us informed of the progress of the repairs.

Royal Honda checked all the boxes with my CRV Hybrid purchase in April. Alton Clevins messaged me a video of the car when it arrived at the dealership in March. Unfortunately Covid arrived too. It was a month later I visited to pickup the car. Everything had been negotiated with the Alton Clevins and Daniel Morse Team. The dealership had Covid precautions in place so I felt very comfortable with in person business. Alton is a charming salesperson. He is not pushy, works to get the sale, explains the car and makes sure everything is set up for his customer. Even as a 6 time Honda owner, I was blown away at mt first time visit to Royal Honda. I entered the pristine Service Area through automatic doors and was immediately greeted by a cheerful service rep at my car door, who checked me in and directed me inside. Roy Sellers walked me through my repair and arranged for a shuttle, and was able to look up my prior service records out of state to recommend service needs and warranty information. Fresh coffee and several copies of the newspaper awaited me in the spacious socially distanced waiting room. Raymond, the shuttle driver, was courteous and personable for both trips to and from the dealership. The flow for checkout was as seamless as check in with everyone politely keeping distance while offering direction before i even needed to ask.Roy was kind and carefully explained my service and recommended my next steps for checkups. What could have been a typical errand to endure was quite a pleasant experience. Everyone i spoke to seemed to actually care about their jobs and their customer s experience. Bravo to management for creating a positive environment for their Employees and customers.
This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had, and Alton Clivens was amazing! He truly went above and beyond to make sure I felt taken care of and confident in my final decision. When a couple of issues came up, he went to bat for me and not only did I get the vehicle I wanted, but I got it at a price that fit my budget. I felt like Alton truly had my best interest in mind and never once pushed me to make a decision one way or the other. The finance manager, Dave Concepcion, was equally impressive. Between his warm demeanor and ability to make the financing process easy and straightforward, I knew without a doubt that I was in an excellent financial position to make on-time payments that I could afford. I drove into the service department in a panic at closing time. My tire was almost completely flat. Roy and his service department exchanged my flat with my spare and had my new tire ready for me early the next morning. When I arrived, it took no time to put my new tire on. I am so very grateful for the entire Royal Honda team.
I have a video that I made of a water leak in a used 2006 Honda Pilot my mother bought in August of 2015 from Royal Honda. It had repetitive water leaks through the roof. At first I thought it was a sunroof or other items attached to the roof that was causing it. Several attempts to get it resolved through Royal Honda went on deaf ears. I am posting this in the hopes that others can avoid having a similar bad experience. I don't like how they dumped this vehicle on me without disclosing the problem with the leaks.
Follow up: November 16, 2018 No response from Royal Honda ownership.
My father purchased a vehicle from their salesman, "Scott Usher" 8 years ago - kept his card and we went right back to the same salesman, same location, same great service, same respectful staff - made purchasing a new car painless. I will definitely go back to Royal Honda for future vehicles and will refer Royal Honda to all of my friends, family, acquaintances without ANY reservation.
This is now the second car that we have leased from Alton Clivens and Royal Honda. All the people involved from Martin to Anthony are really great to work with. We all know that buying/leasing a car takes time but they are as polite as can be through the process.

To the money hungry dealership, particularly the service advisor and or technicians that made my pregnant wife wait 4 hours just to tell her that she needed a new tire and it could not be repaired. Your incompetence and greed reminds me of why I don't go to dealerships in the first place. The sidewall was not damaged and the tire was repaired with no problem, saving us the $200 the dealer wanted to charge to replace. I don't appreciate you taking advantage of a pregnant woman, especially my wife. Have a good day.

Victor Shaffer is Excellent* in explaining the details and listening to what I needed. The added bonus was the payments and car I wanted remained the same from the first quote till the papers were signed. I will definitely recommend him and his excellent work ethics.
I am done with Honda, it makes no sense for my family to spend the extra money at Honda when they no longer have a reliable trustworthy service department. I trust nothing done there anymore!! Your system and service has gotten worse and worse over the last few years. What happened?!! My entire family has only had Honda cars/vans and SUVs for the last 20 plus years but that is going to have to stop. I am not at all sure the service will be any better anywhere else but I know I can at least spend a lot less. It s a shame, you use to be the best!!
One Of the best Honda Dealer and awesome customer service. Carlos Rendon take his time explains everything and make sure everything is above your expectations. He offer his opinion and gives you a lot of choice for u too look at some you are sure what you getting. Trust me he never rushes you or tries to sell you something you don't want. This is my third Honda I have purchased from this dealership. If your wondering about financial department Anthony hall goes above and beyond to get everything you need and what you deserve and he explains everything to detail. You won't regret your decision in going here everything is at your own pace and they will respect that.

I've spent the last few months test driving cars and visiting various dealerships in the Metairie/New Orleans area. I set Royal Honda apart from any place that I've been. Alberto was attentive, courteous, and professional. Anthony Hall also worked incredibly hard to get me the best deal he could. It is because of their tremendous effort and work ethic that I find myself the proud owner of a 2015 Honda Civic. I would recommend working with the two of them if you're in the market for a Honda.

Did not really want to write a review for many years because all my experiences have been nothing but dissatisfaction at this place.
The service department called a month ago to replace the air bags as part of the recall. Went there after making an appointment, they kept the vehicle for the entire day and told me that evening they don't have the air bags.
Again, they called me after few weeks and gave me an appointment for today at noon. I was expecting the job to be completed as promised by COB today. When I called to find out if the vehicle was ready to be picked up the service adviser told me it is not going to be ready until mid day tomorrow. You would think it's their responsibility to let the customer know if the vehicle is ready or not.
I guess we don't have a choice in this part of the town, so we are forced to go there because you bought a vehicle from Honda.
Only come here if you have items under warranty...courtney was a pleasure tho and seemed like the only one running around to try to get people in and out. The receiver kid with short blond hair and black shirt with 2 of the technicians making racial remarks about the asian gentleman in the honda fit were way out of line...especially with my Philippino gf sitting right next to me...I will not be going back
My mom purchased a 2009 honda civic from Jeff Lemoine. Within the first week, the car window would not roll up due to a motor issue. Additionally, I started noticing the AC had an issue with blowing cool air. It turned out to be an air compressor issue. I am very disappointed and will not be back for the foreseeable future.
Please fix your phone system. I had to call 4 times before I spoke to someone. It would be helpful if you had a menu option that allowed you to speak to someone for general information.
The customer service I was given was great from the start. Alberto Torres helped me identify the car I wanted and I was able to hold it until I was able to get to the dealership. Alberto made me feel comfortable with leasing my first car. Alberto even had the patience to take a ride around the block with me so I could get accustomed to the manual transmission that I wanted. Great customer service was given all around and I look forward to continuing business with Royal Honda for years to come.

Not a happy buyer. My boyfriend and I have been shopping for a honda accord in the gulf coast area since I gotten into a car accident. Needless to say Royal honda had the price within our budget. We have been e-mailing back and forth with Jared (internet sales). Since we have determined the price that we wanted we driven down to new orleans from mobile, al. Our first impression was not so great. When we talk number jarred increased the price. I was LIVID because we drove 2 hours on a set price that we have agreed upon. He ended up lying to us. So I end up throwing a fit and leaving with my boyfriend. The general sales manager called us back up and told us that he was sorry about the miscommunication and guaranteed the price that we have wanted for the 2014 honda accord sports. We decided since we have driven this far that its worth a shot. We signed the paper work and settled. There after, we talked to the finance manger about warranty. We decided to purchase extended warranty with some on the stop pressure. Anthony has promised us that he would mail us our extended warranty card and paper work over night. Everything was done. I drove home and realized that there was tick marks on my bottom bumper and addressed it to Jarred. He told us that its not possible because the car has went into detailing. Needless to say that I would have to drive down there for them to take a look at it before anything is done. Perhaps they could of helped out and asked one of the honda dealership in mobile to take a look and if something needs to be done then i would be more than willing to drive down to New Orleans. But no nothing was done. And BTW there is still manufacture red tape on my car. So its proof that the people that detailed my car did not look at my car so throughly.
ON top of that note my warranty paper has not yet arrived. Its been 1 month. and countless phone calls. Anthony is either busy or not working. I ask the lady that answers the phone to see if she can leave a message for me and she told me that "I can but I don't know if he will call you". THEN WHAT IS THE POINT OF ME LEAVING A MESSAGE?! its been this long and I can not get Royal honda to cooperate with me. She won't even transfer me to the general manager. At this point I am pissed I paid good money and purchase extended warranty on my car and royal honda does not care. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! I REFUSE TO RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AND GOD PRAISE THAT THIS PLACE RUNS OUT OF BUSINESS. MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM ROYAL HONDA. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I was coming off a really terrible experience in another Honda dealership. I was EXTREMELY nervous about moving forward with the process again. Someone had recommended to me that I do as much as I can over the phone and on the internet before I ever step foot in the dealership. Jared Hotard is the dealer I worked with at Royal Honda He was extremely understanding and patient that I had a bad experience before and tried to get it all done as painlessly as possible. He was super laid back which I really appreciated. There was absolutely no pressure at any time. So now I had a great experience and I really appreciated the service from Royal. I am really happy with my new car, as well as the experience.

Looking for a car was a no option kind of thing to me since I had already did my research and I knew that Honda was the way for me to go. Everything about the Honda Civic was what I wanted. I had emailed around to ask some questions as I was then looking into seeing which exact location I do my business with. I emailed the Metairie location and the salesman emailed me right back. I explained I was looking around and he helped me with all my questions and all the crazy things I could come up with to ask my salesman, he answered. He went out of his way and made me feel important. We did this emailing back and forth for 2 months and when I finally came into the dealership to buy my car I then feel in love with a 2014 Honda Accord. My salesman Jared Hotard was there to then answer all those questions, and thru all of this he has been a awesome salesman. Even after all my sales was final he even helped me out with my upgrades and getting me back abd forth to the dealership and home. I love my car and all the staff at Honda, and mostly Jared your my number guy at Royal Honda! Love the time I spent buying my car with you guys! Keep up the great work team!
