The service department team was amazing to work with. Everyone was very attentive to detailed and took great care of my vehicle. Even though my vehicle is a different brand I bought it at Royal Honda and Alton made me at home and respected. That feeling carried over to the service department. I would recommend these folks for any of you car service needs.

My wife and I recently purchased a CRV. Alton Clivens made this purchase/transaction extremely easy. Alton worked around our busy schedules to make this transaction occur in a quick and timely manner. Alton did what is takes to get the CRV we wanted to purchase. Once the vehicle was purchased Alton presented my wife with a dozen red roses. I would recommend Honda to anyone interesting in purchasing a vehicle. This is our second Honda and will return for our next purchase.

my Honda Accord had 213000 miles on it. Started having engine issues right around the corner. Flashing check engine light. Knew it was either spark plugs or something of that matter. Was hoping it was just bad gas. I brought it in and the young lady working at service told me she would do her best to get me in there today and I said please do as my job is in transportation. Long story short, I was in and out within just short of two hours with the diagnosis of one of my spark plugs needed replacing and I told them to replace them all. Huge thank you to kortney and the service department for busting her butt running around taking care of her duties while also getting my vehicle taken care of in almost lightning speed. Could not recommend my experience any higher! Thank you so much kortney!!!

My wife and I just purchased a CRV for our daughter. Our salesperson was Jared Hotard and he made the buying experience very pleasant. He never once forced or pressured us to purchase a car. Once we decided on a car, we negotiated on the price and the deal was done. We would definitely recommend Royal Honda and Jared.

Went there 3 weeks ago for tire light on they told me I just needed air. Left forPanama yesterday got on road in new orleans tire light came on again, turned around went to Royal honda they told me it is a sensor. So left continued to Panama city beach, get there looked at my tires and there was a nail, now I'm inconvenienced waiting to get a new tire instead of enjoying my vacation. Thanks alot.

We had our Honda service on Saturday and we heard a noise in the back tire, Joey our Mechanic called my husband and it was a screw that was inbedded in the tire, no damage to the tire. Royal Honda has great Customer Service, Managers, Sales , Mechanics, & Cashiers etc. We are very please with our experience at that car dealership. I have a Honda Accord 2011, and I love my Honda.

I had an AMAZING experience at Royal Honda! I had just left from Premier Honda on the I-10 Service road, and I was very very dissatisfied with my service, but I'll save that for another review. I am a college student and I was looking for a Honda Civic that would hold me through my undergrad and graduate years while being affordable, and my sales associate Alton did just that. He was AMAZING! I wasn't persuaded to buy anything, and he was nothing but honest with me. He made me feel very secure with my decision, and didn't try to sway me to anything else. I was actually stuck between two cars and he told me to just go with what I want, and that is exactly what I did and now I am in love with my car. Like I said, I'm in college so I know little to nothing about cars except for the research I did on my own, but Alton was very very knowledgable and honest and led me to my dream car. I was not even expecting to get a car that day, but I was so welcomed and I felt so good with the customer service I just went with it that same day. I financed through Honda and the financer Anthony was amazing as well. He helped me make sure I could afford everything and was fully aware of EVERYTHING I was paying for. There was no hidden fees or anything suspicious. Thank you Royal Honda for your services, I am very grateful I came here. If you want an honest experience, please go here and ask for Alton. You will not be disappointed.

If I didn t have to put a star on this rating I wouldn t. This is one of the poorest customer service Honda Dealership we have encountered with.

We were traveling from Biloxi, MS to come look at this van and we had an appointment with Royal Honda to look at a Van. We called the salesman to get the address of the dealership and he told us some news about our credit in which we knew, but we still wanted to look at the van. The salesman said that he didn t want to waste our time coming down there if we weren t going to buy. We still ended up going down there.

We were in the Used Sales department and we literally felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. The salesman didn t even get out of his office to show us the van, he simply pointed and just said the van is over there and it s unlock. We were out there for about 20mins and he salesman never came out to Check on us or anything. We just left and went to another dealership that appreciated out money. I wouldn t recommend this place especially the Used Car Department.

They did that service and changed out rear back up lights with no labor charge!

Our service guy Louis was fantastic, he was very friendly and helpful. My big complaint and the reason I won't go back is their prices are horrible. The prices for the parts even the Honda brand ones are way more expensive then I can find on line. Then their labor costs are some of the highest I've seen no matter what you have done there it's going to cost you a small fortune. I need to find a reliable mechanic.

Greats service. Have been taking my car here for the past 3 years with no problems. Always have the most courteous and inviting agents.
9/2020, recently Mr. Eric made sure to keep me updated about my car after having to keep it over the weekend and made sure to have it ready a couple days before a possible hurricane. Great and efficient service.

We were in the market for a 2014 Honda Accord LX. We started at TEAM Honda in Baton Rouge and it was the worst experience. We decided to look elsewhere. We came across Royal Honda and told them our issues with other Honda dealers. We worked with Alberto and he was simply amazing!! He was so personable and made sure our experience was top notch, which it was! I definitely recommend Royal to everyone! Ask for Alberto and he will be sure to take care of you!

My wife brought our car in for an oil change. Service tech recommended transmission fluid change and rotate tires. Wife agreed to the extra services. When everything was completed my wife explains to me that the car was alerting her the pressure in the tires were inflated 50+ psi on all four tires when she got! I took my personal tire pressure gauge and show 59 psi on all four tires!!! My wife drives the car with my child in it, imagine having a blow out driving on the interstate! It just carelessness that could have been check with a good tire gauge. My gripe is not carefully doing there job! Maybe have another person inspect the work that was completed.

This was my first time buying a car on my own and as such, was nervous about all the horror stories of being taken advantage of by salesmen, thinking you're getting a good deal, but actually getting ripped off. I found my experience at Royal Honda to be really great. I felt respected throughout the process. I had been to other dealers before stopping by Honda and the experience felt immediately different. I felt like my salesman (Alton) was completely honest with me at every step of the way and I would recommend him to anyone.

Quality of service is unquestionable - five stars. The only concern is that the advisors sometimes assume you are ready to spend your paycheck in full when your bring your vehicle for a regular maintenance (as you think). You have to be vigilant before okaying to do services listed to you over the phone; some things are not that important to get fixed immediately.

Worst service we've ever experienced! Had an appoi...

Worst service we've ever experienced! Had an appointment for maintenance scheduled for 9am and it was all of two days before we got our car back. We had the same service done to our other Honda at our previous location and it took half a day.

Communication was terrible. We kept checking to see if our car was ready, but no one answered the phone and they were terrible to respond to messages.When we did get our service rep, Willy, he would say it would be a couple more hours or just a little longer. This went on for two days. Willy even told my husband that we agreed on a pick up time at the end of the second day, that conversation never happened.

Willy talked to my husband about additional maintenance that was recommended for the car. They agreed on some additional services and Willy said it would be about $1100 total. When I went in to pick up the car i saw $1500 on the bill so I called my husband to make sure he agreed to even more work, but I couldn't get a hold of him. It was the end of the day, I had turned in the rental car we had to get, and I had two young kids with me. I had to pay the bill and have a car to get home. The cashier charged my card for over $1800!!! She pointed to another place on the bill and said that it was the total. I don't know why there were two different totals. Perhaps she should have said "your total is $1800" before running my card.... My husband never agreed to more than $1100 in work. Willy said it was a mistake and was working to get some of it refunded. He said he could get us about $250 back, but then sent us to the manager who agreed to a $80 refund. I doubt we will ever see the $80 refund and they will never see us again.

Everytime I have an emergency, tires, battery, etc. I drive immediately to service and Roy is always there to help with my repairs and able to get me out and back on the streets immediately. Upon visiting the dealership last night, with hopes to purchase a vehicle for my mom. My parents could not reach an agreement on the vehicle. I believe our salesman was Alton, whom we had a pleasant encounter with the entire time. The sale not happening was not bothered me last night, but the new vehicle sales manager Martin and his actions that followed. I find turning your back and pulling out your back pocket and pointing to it a bit unprofessional to make a point. As well as after we told them we were sorry that no deal could be reached, Martin thought it was okay to follow us out the lot and hassle us. Standing at the back of our vehicle as we got in. From the beginning, I was trying to be cordial and telling him I understood he had his business and job to do. I just find it uncalled for to be followed out into the lot as if we had done something wrong. No one raised their voices at one another so I find it shocking to be treated in such a manner especially towards my parents. At no point in time did I find it necessary for Martin to even step out. Alton could have told us that we couldn't reach an agreement and we would have been on our way. But he made it a point to come out to intimidate us. If this is how Royal Honda sales manager's act towards their customers and as an example for employees I find it appalling. That was the first and definitely the last time going to Royal Honda. We will also recommend to friends and family that ask to seek future purchases elsewhere.

The staff was more than eager to help knowing my situation. I left with a new car. Something I never thought was possible. I want to thank everybody at Royal Honda from the bottom of my heart. From the moment my wife and I entered this dealership, we felt comfortable. No salesmen swarming you at the door, and they are extremely straightforward with no hassle or haggling.

We arrived thinking we were going to drive out with a 2018 Pilot, but thanks to Alton, we have a brand new loaded 2019 sitting in our driveway. After reaching an agreement on my trade-in, Alton made the magic happen.

I highly recommend Royal to anyone shopping for a new Honda, and by now, you know who you should ask for!

This was not my first visit to Royal Honda to have my vehicle serviced. And it doesn t matter how many times I visit Royal Honda, my experience is always WONDERFUL! My service contact, Joey Munch, is professional and a pleasure to work with! Having arrived for my appointment early, Joey placed my car in line for service as though it was my scheduled time. Once you purchase a Honda from Royal, you become family, not just a customer. Well done Joey!

The service department was not easy to get in touch with on Saturday around 11:45am. Calls rang to voice mail for both Service and Scheduling. Pressing zero gave me the operator who unfortunately had to listen to my frustration. She helped me with the 800 number for Honda road side assistance, bless her. Once my vehicle arrived at Honda it was no problem speaking to a technician. They fixed the issue and I m back in the road. Yes the experience was aggravating. The on-board Immobilizer kicked in which remedied the vehicle useless and the owner s manual said to contact your Honda dealer. That s it!! No other explanation! Google told me more about the issue than the manual. Good thing this wasn t one of those fuel efficient vehicles whose engine stops at red lights and starts back up automatically. I know the dealer has NOTHING to do with how the vehicle is built, so the least the dealer can do is pass this issue on to Honda. Recommend the battery be replaced every three years, especially if the battery is going to play such an important role Thanks for listening.

I will never buy another car from Royal Honda. I just got off of a 6 month deployment overseas and came home to find my car not working so I needed a new car. I purchased a Nissan Juke from them 2 months ago. I have had to do nothing but maintenance the vehicle since. I had to have the sunroof tightened to the vehicle because it shook non stop and needed repair, the car had no oil in it so I had to get an oil change, alternator went out, new battery, air conditioner went out, fan motor went out, fan belt, and had to change my serpentine belt twice. I get normal wear and tear on a vehicle but this car only has 50,000 miles on it and shouldn t need this many repairs at once. There is no way this car was a certified used car they did maintenance checks on before selling. After coming home from a deployment the last thing I want to do is continue to shell out money on a car that came from a dealership!

I went to Royal with less than average credit on an emergency basis. I was helped by salesperson Chad L. And Finance manager Anthony H. Both guys did a more than amazing job with finding me a great car. Process was nice and smooth. Finance manager was very upfront and honest about my situation and did his very best at getting me the BEST terms possible. Chad did a great job with handling the sale in a timely manner as I was on a very limited time schedule due to work. This is my second purchase in 5 1/2 years and I definitely intend on returning!!! Great job Royal Honda!

Anthony Hall made my experience purchasing a car a smooth & calm experience! When I called to schedule service, I mentioned I had three kids with me and asked what was best time to cone. I was told 10:30-1:00 was least busy. I showed up at 10:30 today for my first oil change since purchasing the car. My 3 daughters and I had to wait 2 HOURS!!! Absolutely ridiculous. Was told I should ask for first appointment of the day next time for least wait time. I explained that I specifically asked about that when I called, and was informed this was best time. I m sure they probably did a good thorough job, but waiting 2 hours with 3 kids in tow was unacceptable.

I. Arrived at the service bay and I was greeted pleasantly by the service writer. He addressed the mechanical problems and had the wiper blade inserts changed. Since this was a lleased vehicle I seem to recall that all of the items serviced where covered under the original warranty. I was surprised to be presented with a charge for the wiper inserts. I paid the bill and returned to my home.
