I really wanted a new car and having loved my car ...

I really wanted a new car and having loved my car so much I really wanted to stick with Honda but knew I needed something a bit bigger since I have a growing family!! I went in and of course had my 7 month old baby with me!! I felt horrible because I worried about her being a baby and doing what babies tend to do not only cry but scream :) well I have to admit she was great but what made her enjoy being there was ALEX TULLER!! He was an amazing salesman and kept not only me entertained but my daughter as well!! He carried her out to the new car strapped in her car seat and away we went in our soon to be new CRV!! Not once did I feel like I was a bother because I was there with a kid!! All of the employees there were great !! Dave was our financial guy and he hooked it up:) ROYAL HONDA I WILL FOREVER BE A CUSTOMER!!! *** did I mention they didn't even get mad when I changed my mind last minute on the color I wanted :) ALEX DID AN AMAZING JOB TO MAKE SURE I GOT WHAT I WANTED !! He didn't sale me a care he helped me find what was right for me and let me pick what I wanted and not what would make him more money!! Thanks to all of ROYAL HONDA !! I'll recommend y'all anyday!!

My experience with Royal Honda was wonderful!! Pattie Holthaus, is the best.this is my 4th Honda, love, love it. Pattie, always explains every thing to me. I also got a thank you from Jared Hotard a very nice message telling me thank you. Today is Aprial 26, 2016 my iPad was not working when I leased my car so I stopped in Royal Honda and asked if I could send this note to you and Pattie & Jared were more than willing to help me , they have gone above & beyond. Professional and friendly, they tell you what s go...

Professional and friendly, they tell you what s going on with your car, but not too much pressure to fix more than what s necessary. Roy at Royal was very efficient and communicative. For a dealership, the hourly really is not much more than any of the independent mechanics in town, and Royal got my car scheduled and finished in a quick and timely manner. Highly recommend

Royal Honda has a great sales and financing staff. I bought a used car here a few days ago. Each person I interacted with during the buying process listened closely to my questions and gave me clear and knowledgeable answers. They really worked to accommodate me. Additionally, everyone was kind and high-spirited. They even gave me delicious king cake!

I had some issues with my car. Roy in the service department took care of me right away. He was honest about the wait time. He contacted me with answers and my car was ready earlier than the quoted time. I would say that they have excellent customer service and Roy deserves 5+ stars!

This is our third Honda and its number two from @RoyalHondaMetaire . @VictorShaffer helped us with the purchase and he was a pleasure to deal with.
The buying process was a breeze. I emailed @VictorShaffer told him what we wanted the 2015 Pilot SE, Silver. I went in after work and was pulling out of the dealership in about an hour with the new Pilot.

Use Honda Care Service For the first time due to a blow out on the I-10. The call staff was so helpful and i was able to get my car safely off the interstate to Royal Honda. Mr. Eric ( service coordinator) was so helpful honest and friendly. Called me back promptly and gave me an accurate pick up time. Everything worked out so smooth:) Thank you so much.

Went and saw Alton today after someone referred him to me. He took the time to ask questions about what I was looking for in the perfect car. When I told him I was open, he continued to offer options and watched to see what I was drawn to. He actually listened to me without being a pushy. We found the perfect car and I got a sweet deal!! My experience with Royal Honda was really great. Everybody was so nice and they even gave me a dozen roses. However they were supposed to get a title for my Diamante in August and I still have not received it. And I paid $70 for Royal to get that registration.

Excellent mechanical / technical / professional service. High level of attention given to Customer Service. Everyone conveys a positive attitude. Work was done ahead of schedule and within estimate. The Customer waiting room was comfortable with snacks and beverages available (to Customers) at no cost. Overall a very positive experience.

After filling out an online form requesting Pilot pricing, I was contacted by Jared Hotard with Royal. I receive a great initial quote on a Pilot that was hundreds less than a local dealer.

All in all the experience was a positive one and the folks at Royal seemed very professional. I would recommend Jared and Royal if you are looking for a Honda.

Amazing dealership. I needed a truck to tow a new camper and wanted a Honda Ridgeline. My sales rep Jared Hotard was down to earth, provided me a great deal and followed through with all he promised.

I have to say the best part of my purchase was meeting the business manager Anthony, who pulled me aside and talked to me about my credit options. He clearly had my best interests in mind. Instead of tying me down with an additional year of payments, he was able to get me back with Honda Financial Services at a great rate. I really am impressed with Royal Honda and will continue to patronize this great establishment.

Yesterday was an AWESOME DAY FOR ME!!!!
On 12/31/16, Me and husband was only there to look around but God had other plans.
I wanna thank Nat for calling me back and sending a pic of reminder to come see him .
The staff was OUTSTANDING!!!
But most all of thank you Roberto,He made show I walk out in the car I wanted!
I most definitely recommend Royal Honda to all my Friends and Family.. Also Thank you Mr. Anthony Hall for going above and beyond for us.. Totally lost for words..

Just purchased my third car from Royal Honda. They really treated me like a loyal customer! Very friendly service without high pressure sales. My wife loves the roses they present her when we picked up the car! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to purchase or lease a vehicle.

What a pleasure it was to lease my new CR-V from Royal Honda. The owners and all the employees are kind, considerate and more than helpful. The sales person I worked with was named Danny and he moved through each moment of the process with grace and knowledge. He was kind and funny but that was a bonus. He went way above the call of duty to help me get in my car the day I walked in. My old Audi was dead and I was desperate to get something that worked for my lifestyle, my work needs and my budget constraints. Danny totally made it happen and at the end of the experience when I had keys in hands, he gave me a dozen red roses to celebrate. This is a wonderful memory I'll always have and a great car. I would highly, highly recommend Royal Honda, the CR-V (it's amazing for the $$) and Danny the salesman! Great team....Love them!!!!

Royal Honda - Metairie, Louisiana

Booked a routine maintenance over the phone for 8am this morning. Arrived to an awkward service rep who's greeting was "hi................ Can I help you?" To which I responded, "Yes, I have an 8am appointment." After then walking away without words, he confirmed my appointment. I asked how long it would take and he said "a few hours." Then I said I would wait in the lounge. Hours went by and I figured they were just busy as there were a lot of people there. But then everyone came and went and the lounge was near empty. This was around hour 3. I asked the service coordinator for an update on my car and she informed me that my service rep was out to lunch but she would go find out an update for me. She immediately found a technician who said that I hadn't been marked as waiting for my car (even though I said it and I made eye contact with my service rep multiple times throughout the morning). This was at 12:30pm, 4.5 hours after my scheduled appointment. The coordinator informed me that she put my car next on the list but a lot of people were out at lunch. It's now 2:10, over 6 hours of waiting (I haven't eaten anything since before I brought my car in at 8) and they are finally doing my OIL AND FILTER CHANGE. I literally could've done this myself in 15 minutes but I have a prepaid maintenance contract. An entire work day spent waiting all because of the impersonal distracted demeanor of my sales rep. Everyone else at the dealer seems on top of their stuff but it only takes one guy. I know I'm just one customer and I'm sure I would have had a great experience were it not for this mistake, but a mistake was made and I missed an entire work day because of it.

Royal is so much more expensive than Premier for the exact same services. We, unfortunately found out too late. Within 5 minutes of Royal calling me with prices and I checked around, I called to limit what we wanted done and he said they were just about finished. I didn t believe him and he got very arrogant. NEVER USE ROYAL!

I dropped the vehicle off for repairs that I knew would take several days. I wasn t notified when the car was ready. No one ( service, parts or the operator) answered the phone and messages I left were not returned. I had to drive to the dealer to find out the status of my vehicle.
On the other hand, the cashier and shuttle driver were prompt, polite and professional.

So far they havent given a wrong part yet and I'm glad.

This was a low-pressure sales experience that I appreciated. The car has been great so far and I am very likely to shop with Royal Honda again.

Royal Honda attempted to rip me for $2500. Brought our 2011 Honda Pilot to Royal for AC repair. The car AC was working intermittently. Cooled fine for 30-40 minutes, then just the left side warms up. Next day, back to cooling again. Went on for a couple weeks. After the service department had it for less than one hour, got a call saying the compressor was bad (they couldn't explain why), the evaporator was leaking and needed to be replaced, the expansion valve was bad, and the valve cores were leaking. Then came the estimate for 2500. I declined and picked up the car. They charged me $169 for their inaccurate diagnosis. Amazing how they diagnosed all of that so fast. Took it to a honest independent shop. There were no refrigerant leaks, the compressor was fine, the evaporator was fine. Turned out the expansion valve was shutting down causing the problem. $700 repair. I pity Royal's customers who go there that don't know any better and get hosed by those guys. So after buying 2 new vehicles and bringing it to them for service, you have lost a customer for life.

Over Priced Parts and Labor, Really Sad

My Odyssey was in for a Free Honda Service Bulletin repair, where the mechanic had to break down a few pistons and remove the timing belt. I asked the service writer to have them put on a new timing belt instead of the old one and to replace the hydraulic timing belt tensioner, which had to be depressed to remove the timing belt.

First, the parts are over priced greatly, over $300 (others OEM Honda Parts outlets charge on average about $140). They wanted to charge me 2 hours of labor ($260) to remove 2 bolts that was in plain sight and easily reachable, that held the small hydraulic timing belt tensioner and put on new belt instead of the old one. After a small protest, they agreed to charge me for 1 hour of labor that only took less than 10 minutes.

How do they sleep at night? They desire zero stars.

As of 2009 I have had nothing but great service at Royal Honda. I have also bought 2 vehicles over the past 11 years and they are both great cars. I will go nowhere else for service. They have such great cars the only reason why I had to buy a second one was that I gave my daughter my Fit and had to buy another for me.

Recently bought a new car there and had a great experience! I showed up after work, so I ended up getting there late, but that didn't seem to bother anybody at all. I worked with Warren Weaver, and he definitely listens to what your needs are. He'll make recommendations, but is always most concerned with what you're after. I told him what price I was looking to pay each month and exactly what car I wanted, and he made it all happen. The finance person was great too! The best part was the fact that they had the EXACT car I've been wanting and found a way to make it affordable.

They are quick with their job , get things done in a timely matter , shuttle is also offer if you need to drop your vehicle , and they work around all schedules that works for you .My service advisor was Kortney who was great with communication , did not let me worry about my vehicle, kept me updated about my vehicle , and even made things easy for me when needing a rental ! I appreciate great customer service and I always receive it at Royal Honda !

I have driven and maintained Honda Accords from Royal Honda for years, but I will never be returning. First, during a maintenance in October 2016 I was told I had a good battery. The following month my car lost power while I was out of state and I had to have a friend come jump me. Upon reviewing my receipt, I discovered they attached the wrong battery test from a 2012 Honda CR-V. The maintenance team was once clear about what was required and what wasn't. I was charged hundreds of dollars this past July for maintenance including fuel induction service and transmission service, the vast majority of which I have now been told was unnecessary to have done so early if at all according to a rival Honda service department. The advisor at Royal Honda had told me it was ALL necessary. To top it off, while waiting for hours I had walked to view the new Honda CR-Vs and the salepeople both inside and outside of the showroom treated me like I was a nobody once I told them I was still a few years away from purchasing. I will never return to this dealership for purchases or maintenance, and I have started encouraging everyone I know to do the same.
