Took car in for service. Had new brake pads, brake fluid and transmission fluid changed. Their prices are HIGH. Couple that with a lack of any discount even though I was having so much work done. The service was lacking to say the least. Richard called me around 1130 and we discussed a potential issue and pricing and he said he would call me back with some answers. 1pm rolls around, still no call. I called and left a vm. He eventually called back. I called later in the afternoon, left another vm about the invoice he emailed. Eventually my call was returned and Richard said the car would be ready in 20 mins but that he would call me.... an hour and a half later, still no call. We just assumed the car was ready and picked it up. You're a service dept, show people some service.

I'm selling the car I bought from Landmark Honda less than 3 years ago because of constant mechanical issues. I took my car to CarMax to get an appraisal for trade-in and they came back telling me that my car had the FRAME repaired due to an accident in 2012. Landmark Honda never disclosed this.

The Carfax says there was an accident in New York 2012, but there were no details because according to Carfax "New York Damage Reports do not include an assessment of damage severity".

I cannot stress enough, about how poor the quality of work is at Landmark Honda. Save yourself the pain and go to Carmax or somewhere more professional.

I just got my new Honda Civic.

I just got my new Honda Civic.
Everyone was so helpful, and whole process from coming in, test drive, negotiating the lease terms, and processing my paperwork took less than 2 hours.
I was very happy, to come, choose, pay and go home with new car.
Everyone was very friendly and made my experience smooth.
Milton Clary listened to my needs and did his best to meet them. He was very honest, respectful and professional.

Very disappointed by the attitude of finance manager and sales person Omar Anum.I Went there about 2 weeks ago for toyota Camry. First they were not negotiating in price even though difference was just $200 as I came back towards my car with my wife and 2 kids Omar anum ran towards me and ask for if I just consider it one more time. I went inside with him again and finally deal was finalised. But unfortunately bank didn't approve me because I drive for uber. Finance manager called me and said bank didn't approve you and that's it. I was wondering and looking for Omar (sales person) he didn't show up even though I offered finance manager for cash but he said I don't get any benefit if i sell on cash so I can't give you any discount. There attitude really disappointed me. They knew that bank not gonna approved me for uber but still they ran my credit a d wasted my 2 hours there.

Dropped off a 2016 civic with scheduled appt. for its 2nd oil change, rotate and 3rd brake light cover recall. Never offered alternative transport home. Shuttle or loaner car. Never was told it needed to be dropped off for the recall Had to uber home. Got the car back. 3rd brake light cover on rear seat, and tape on rear glass.

Landmark Honda sucks. They will not do anything to fix a chronic, manufacturer's defect in my 2006 CRV driver-side headlight. I replace it about every six months, at my expense...and they do NOTHING about it except tell me to bring it in for an evaluation that will cost me $200. Not going back there again.

Update: after meeting with Larry (Service Director), a technician examined my car and fixed the issue. Larry made sure I was taken care of and all issues were resolved. I will return back to this located solely because of Larry's support and kindness.

service department is horrible. I took my car in for service due to a airbag recall notice from Honda. When I got my car back, the door trim was not installed properly, there were broken airbag pieces on the floor from the tech. removing the old unit and the dash above the unit was not aligned correctly. The manager stated they didn't touch the dash and that I would have to pay to have that fixed! The manager had a negative attitude and the job was clearly rushed!! I will never have service done at this dealership again and plan on reporting this incident to Honda directly.

Over priced service --- ridiculous. They quoted me $5,000 on service and I was able to get someone else to do it for $1,500. Price gouging at it's finest. Also, broken door lock, the key was actually stuck in the door and when I called service department he said there was nothing I could do, to call a lock smith. I don't know why they couldn't help with ordering a lock part. Seemed lazy and couldn't be bothered. My friend told me to call them back and tell them to order the part. Also, gouging on the damn key replacement. $55 for the key and $200 to use a computer to reprogram the key. Unbelievable. But believable. Will try to stay away from here. I do want a new Honda CRV...not sure where I will go.....

Customer service provided by Aubrey, Mark, and Joe was great. Worked with all three in different aspects of the car-buying experience. Originally looked at a 2017 Honda CR-V with Mark, decided to hold off that day and came back the next. Next day, Mark was busy with another customer so I worked with Joe who showed us another 2018 CR-V that we liked even more. After the test drives, we started working on the finance aspects of the car.

In the finance aspects of purchasing, the negotiations started with Joe running a piece of paper back and forth with Aubrey negotiating the price. After the 'final offer' was given by Aubrey at the desk, I asked to speak with Aubrey directly to go over the details line by line. Aubrey was very accommodating in explaining every line item in the purchase contract. Highly recommend buyers to work with sales manager Aubrey Farrare in their future car buying.

I don't normally write reviews but my experience with Landmark has been really bad. I leased a 2014 Honda Accord and it was one of the baddest experience I ever had. On the paper work process they promise the MOON and the STARS but when it's time to return the vehicle they wanted to charge you all kind of things such as; return fees, wear and tear, etc. I had a bad experience with the person in charge of the finance department(Maria) because they don't tell you the value of your trade in and at the end of the lease they want to charge extra for every thing.

If I could write a negative review I would! The customer service in this establishment is lacking to say the least. The used car sales manager (Bouna A. Ndiaye) was extremely hostile when we attempted to resolve a matter amicably, by speaking to both the general manager and the finance manager simultenously so no confusion would arise. He did not even attempt to fake any type of customer service etiquette nor decency. He was loud and extremely unprofessional. He demanded for the vehicle to stay in the parking lot without providing any assurances about whether we would receive our $1500 deposit back. He was accusatory and adversarial and oblivious to the fact that customers were watching when he was yelling at us like school children. He also neglected to even listen to our attempts to resolve the matter. Furthermore, we never received proper communication from the used car sales manager until the last minute when he sent us a very heavily worded email. He then went to rip the tags out of the vehicle after we told him that we would be back the following day to talk to the general manager who was gone for the day.
The entire situation was outlandish for a reputable dealership.

In addition, you will be steered to higher interest loans if you seek financing with the organization. This place proves the old adage true -Caveat emptor - Buyer beware.

Went in for an oil change. They upsold me for additional work (shame on me) and the additional work they did ended causing the car to break down two weeks later. Screwed up the car, left us stranded, then when finally getting a rental car home because we had to leave it 4 hours from home because of something the service team did to it, they did not care and will happily do it to whoever else because we can t prove they did it, even though it s the exact spot they serviced. The car has never had an issue before, and now all of a sudden the car could ve had a bad seal or a bad pump. The sorriest excuse for customer service, a mechanic and decent human beings!

My husband and I purchased our first new car together, a 2013 Honda CRV, at Landmark Honda. The staff was courteous and professional at all times. We recently had our first oil change done at Landmark Honda and it happened to be customer appreciation day. They provided all kinds of goodies and again the staff was very polite and we didn t have to wait long for our car to be serviced. Looking forward to a great relationship with Landmark Honda.

I got my car serviced twice in the last month at Landmark Honda, my service adviser was Brian. The service he provided was excellent, from start to finish. He thoroughly explained everything that my car needed and he called me has soon as the repairs were complete. I used to opt for cheaper services, but now I see the true benefit, it s in the excellence of the service, and customer service.

Anther gentleman named Sung also provided excellent customer service as well. Answered all of my questions, taking time to explain the repairs that were made, and how to prevent issues in the future.

I will be coming back to Landmark Honda for sure, and will be requesting these two guys in specific.

I received mail from Honda in regards to re-finanacing my Chevrolet Malibu or perhaps purchasing a vehicle from Landmark Honda. While I was in the mode to reduce my monthly expenses, I considered it and ended up going to the dealership to see what I could do. Upon entering the door, Maxwell Ogbe greeted me and asked if there was anything he could assist me with and I told him my situation. We ended up looking at a few cars and one of the cars I drove was it! Ogbe was pleasant and patient especially because I showed up in the evening a couple of hours before closing. After getting some education about re-financing and car trade-ins by Kennedy Ampong, the on-duty manager, I knew I wasn't going to re-finance, but really wanted one of the cars I drove.

To make a long story short, Ogbe and Kennedy went above and beyond to make things happen so I could get a vehicle that i thought I would never have...at least not for quite some time. I don't believe I have ever had such a wonderful experience when getting a newer car. I definitely recommend Landmark Honda and Maxwell Ogbe!

Recently, I started looking for a Insight hybrid 2019, and I gave them a second chance, but 2 times, their sales consultants told me they will talk with their manager but they never cameback.
Now, we completely stoped doing any business with that place and advise people to stay away from that dealer.

I would not shop from this dealership. Although they have a great selection of vehicles, this dealership is filled with lying salesmen. I purchased a used vehicle from them after being GUARANTEED a warranty and told that if it were to fail MD state inspection, for whatever reason, that it was 100% the dealerships responsibility and the costs would be covered. Without exaggerating, the salesman said the car was PERFECT and would pass inspection no problem, and if it didn t, all costs would be covered by then a minimum of 10 times over the day. However, after failing inspection due to both rear shocks being blown, they went back on their word and were only willing to return up to $200 for nearly $400 worth of work. These people do not care about their customers and will lie to you so that they can sell cars. Other than that, the carelessness towards social distancing and safety was appalling, and there was a complete lack of transparency. They did not want us to know the truth behind the used vehicle we purchased. damaged quarter panels, severe paint scratches, etc was just cosmetic and not their issue. They wanted us to buy the car exactly as is for what they charged or get out. I would stay far away.

I Purchased my 2017 Honda CRV early June of this year. I was very pleased with the whole purchasing process until I wanted to cancel an extended warranty and GAP insurance. I was told I can get a full refund if I cancel with in 60 days. Walta, sales person, finally managed to
cancel the extended warranty after several calls and email exchanges.
After many unsuccessful trials to cancel the GAP insurance with Walta,
I sent a 2nd email to the general manager, Joe Waldman, complaining about the situation and I'm waiting for his action as I am writing this review. Very unprofessional and poor sales strategy and horrible customer service......

This is the 2 time I bought a car at Landmark Honda. The process of buying a car can be complicated and difficult, however, we found a good environment of professional and friendly people who helped us all along the way. Not only the process was smooth both times but after purchase as well. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to make any purchase either of a new or used car because they will help you exactly with what you need!! No doubt!

VERY VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

VERY VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

JUST THE FACTS

-November 19 car was serviced at dealership with tire rotation
-Dealership DID NOT use a torque wrench with a gauge on it to tell the exact torque that was on each lug nut.
-6 days later, November 24 , the lug nuts or studs failed on my front tire while going 55 mph on the highway while my pregnant wife was driving and myself and my young daughter slept in the back seat.
-Dealership and their insurance company both deny liability
-they told me the torque stick rated to 80 FT. lbs. did the job properly
-no other documents were provided to me showing the calibration of air pressure lines or impact driver
-The repair shop who fixed my vehicle checked the lug nuts on the other tires said the lug nuts were not torqued to Honda spec
-I was left having to pay my all of my expenses for transport, and cash deductible,

In My opinion, you should not take your car there! too risky

I took my daughter there this morning to purchase a car. First day impression was a very clean building. Second impression all of the employees was friendly and professional. The most important impression is my daughter had a very low credit score and a trade in vehicle that she owed more then what it was worth. Landmark gave her more than fair trade in value and her dream car a 2018 Honda Civic Ex with Sensor. She is very happy. Thank you Landmark for making my child happy and not trying to take advantage because she is young.

Disappointing to say the least. I was given a low ball offer and this dealership did not want to negotiate even though I was willing to. I had the vehicle picked out and I had the pre-approved loan. But they let me walk away. Good luck to you all. I'm sue you'll sell it within two weeks or sell it to an auction like most dealers do when they can't sell a vehicle.

I dont have experience purchasing a vehicle with Landmark Honda but I do have several experiences working with their service department and let me tell you, everyone there is pretty awesome. One person in particular, Jenna Marvel, is phenomenal. I've had to get several issues fixed on my Honda to include scheduled maintenance, wear and tear repair, warranty fix, and emission/safety inspection. Every visit she is on top of things and lets me know exactly whats going on. On my last visit, she recognized me, knew my name, and got things going before I even set foot in the service area (and no, its not because I spend enough money there to send the service department staff through college). When all was said and done, she worked her magic on the bill to ensure she got me the right service UNDER what I was expecting to pay...that's something rare when someone goes out of their way to save you money, but that is just a testament to the kind of care and attention I've come to expect from this Honda dealership. I highly recommend coming here for all your Honda (and non Honda) repair needs!

I went to Landmark Honda in Alexandria, VA after having visited another Honda dealership the day before. I never wanted a Honda, but the vehicle I thought was my first choice was no longer in production. I thought I would "settle" on a Honda. I had test drove the Ridgeline at the other dealership but did not tell my salesman Vin. I allowed him to do his sales lines. After driving the truck, I insisted on talking turkey, a.k.a. my trade-in. I was trading in a great car, virtually new itself, because of sudden life changes. To my surprise, not only did I end up getting a great deal on the vehicle I sought to purchase, but I also got a very good and reasonable deal on the vehicle I traded. Each supervisor I spoke with to make the deal happen was excellent. I had done my homework so I already knew what they would ask and how they would play their hand. To my delight, they were willing to compromise their profit for my benefit. That's rare. I am very satisfied with my truck and my deal. But that's not the end...
I checked their website to see if they were advertising my former car. They were. They are also advertising it at such a bargain price that is right in line with KBB and Edmunds.
This is a great dealership with honest, fair, and hardworking representatives who lends value to Honda's already powerful reputation. To Vin, I say thank you and "GREAT JOB". And, "Great Job" to the entire sales team as you all did an outstanding job and I am thoroughly satisfied. I have been to many dealerships and made several purchases, and this is the first time I have been completely satisfied!

I just go there to buy a car and they told me a price and we started negotiating and i like the car and once we are starting agree to buy and the signing to buy it , they have a communication issue with the finance guy and raised the money . Worst customer service. I don't recommend the place. They trick you lower the price and once they are sure you like the car and they raised the money. Also gave you the wrong price to sign too . Omg i was mad with the customer service. I don't recommend the place unprofessional customer service.

I had my key repaired there, which they did a nice job on. Roughly 5 weeks later, my car was stolen out of my driveway. No glass broken, no other cars/houses in the area were touched. My car has technology that prevents hot-wiring, so a key was necessary. I doubt very much the theft was a coincidence.

(10/11/15) I was spent $2,000 of AC repair (two separate visits) on a 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid (not even 80,000 miles) - a hose a couple of months ago on the first visit - and an air compressor less than two weeks ago. Today, there is no air coming from the vents (none). It's very likely that the AC motor might be broken (if I find that it's this, why wasn't this replaced?).

(10/11/15) After reading several reviews on the Honda Civic - and AC problems. The Honda Motor Corporation doesn't care about the air conditioning system of its cars (they have know that AC has been a problem for years in their cars - yet they haven't taken action in their engineering division) - I should have read about the problems before I spent the money. Update (10/16/15) - I still stand by this statement that Honda Motor Corporation did not use effective engineering practices regarding their AC systems in Civics. The reviews online show this statement to be true (and there are many) and this a car with only 80000 miles.

Update (10/16/15): Landmark Honda found that the blower motor transistor shorted out - and they fixed it for free. I respect them for that - but had I not posted this review, I'm not sure that this would have been done free of charge - I have updated this review and I appreciate their service.

I visited Honda Landmark thinking I would receive good customer service based on their review in google. Unfortunately I was wrong. The salesman who was helped me was very aggressive and rude and hid information that was critical in making decision to buy a car so when I decided not to buy the car he turned out to be super rude and mean. Overall not a pleasant experience. Just sharing this experience with others.

I have shopped Honda automobiles for the past 20 years, 3 cars, a civic, an Accord , a CRV, and now another new Accord. All I can say is that Landmark Honda is one of the best places to shop. I was in a recent accident, but Honda not only was sympathetic but they went out of their way to take care of me.

When I took it in for a recall part change, they said the car needed nearly $1000 worth of maintenance work including that my transmission fluid was black. I told them no and took it to a local mechanic who looked at all the issues landmark claimed my car had - and he said almost all of it was fine, including the transmission fluid - and I paid about $180 to fix everything. You hear about dishonest mechanics - these guys are dishonest mechanics.

Bryant is very courteous and polite when it comes to providing excellent top notch service. To this day I still visit this location and do all my car services. I brought my new CRV couple of months ago. The sales person is awesome, friendly and easy to deal with. I gave 5 stars for that. However, I took my Oddesey for recall service and inspection, I was beyond disappointed with Charles the service advisor. I got charged for inspection but no inspection was done or documentation. I was told to come back the next day. The inspection was done. Once again no documentation. I waited another 2 hours, the mechanic came ask me where did I parked my van. Seriously, lies after lies and finally got my inspection paper after I wasted the entire day waiting. Charles is not trust worthy. I took my van to another dealer and got my van serviced there. Yes, Charles your major concern about the lower control arm and it's bush is not a immediate issue. It can wait another 3 years according to another dealer. They fixed everything else to include timing belt and gave a me nice military $$$ discount. You could have made few thousands dollars from me for your boss. Now I have a recall on my CRV and will not go back to Landmark. I will drive an extra distance to elsewhere.

Once bought the car, it s done last year bought 2018 CR-V the wind shield rubber lose/leaked after 3 appointments and wasted time, urging and discussion with ruthless service agent/assistant Mgr due poor service and unskilled tech could not install the part at all in 3 times.so shameful to this dealer service unit.

What should I do ? If I have to go different dealer and going through fr all these mass again.

This is my second time taking my vehicle to the Honda service center. I cannot say enough positive things about my service rep Jay. I appreciate and recognize excellent customer service. I needed a lot of maintenance on my vehicle and Jay was great about explaining the services that needed immediate attention and the ones that could wait. I have been to other Honda service departments that left me feeling disappointed. I trust Jay to find me discounts when possible and be completely transparent with pricing.

This was my first purchase of a new car. My wife and I went to Landmark Honda in search of a family vehicle. We met with salesman Dzung Le. Our overall experience was positive. Mr. Le took the time to listen to our needs and presented us with options. He was not a pushy salesman, very easy going and worked hard to get us the best price for the vehicle. I shopped around with other local dealers and Landmark Honda was giving me the best deal. Initially I was concerned that fees and taxes were going to add up and I was going to end up paying hundreds if not thousands above agreed price, but the price I was quoted was the final price I paid after taxes and fees. We are very happy with our purchase and glad we decided to purchase from Landmark Honda. The process was seamless and I would not think twice about returning for another purchase.

Jay went above and beyond my expectations to ensure that I get the BEST deal possible for my car. He was very patient in understanding my requirements and my constraints. As a first time buyer, I have no clue what to expect and Jay made it very clear and short. I am very happy that I could close the deal with just in one day.

Not wanting to get a cheap replacement case that would probably break again, I got it and I'm very happy.

Went for a service appointment scheduled at 1pm on a weekday. Took over an hour and a half just to do an oil change and rotate the tires. Way too long of a wait which causes poor customer satisfaction. I won t be returning here.

As long time Honda owners and Landmark Honda customers, we never knew what we were missing out on until we had two bad experiences at Landmark Honda during the purchase and lease of two vehicles in the past 6 weeks. Fortunately, these bad experiences led us to Bill Page Honda and their sales and customer service hands down beats Landmark. There is no comparison! Over the years they have provided excellent service whether on recalls or discounted service. The purchase of my new CRV was no exception. I had the best experience here with the service staff, specifically Al. I called after a drive from NYC where I was supposed to be driving back the next morning. I was hearing some metal grinding sounds all of a sudden and needed to get the car looked at prior to feel safe driving back. He was able to set up an appointment with the service team that very evening in less than and hour, and the team was so helpful and quickly identified the culprit a small rock that had snuck up into the brakes. I was out of there in no time with the issue taken care of and zero charge. I was able to make my trip back the very next morning thanks to Al and the service team.

Crooks! Avoid if you can! Sold me more expensive part just because they could. Dishonest people. I've bought my vehicle there and service there for over 3 years,because they are simply the closest Honda dealership. That's it - I'm giving my business to different place. I've always had reservations, but car is my wife's and it was convenient for her to go there. Well, no more. I wish Landmark Honda a peaceful departure from the market. Consumers only will win.
