Please avoid this company at all cost. Worst company, customer service and stuff i have ever dealt with i had to cancel my insurance and take a loss. They increased my insurance and started charging all sorts of cost. Even when i cancelled my insurance they took more then half of what i paid for deposit even though the insurance didn't start till a month later. To make everything worse they didn't pay me my refund for 2 weeks i had to chase it up and i was missing money. This company is a fraud and they are ripping of people.

3) I called them on the phone to cancel the policy. They said oh that s fine we will send the refund back to your card. I didn t get the refund for 2 months and called them to see what is happening. When I called them they said we can t cancel over the phone. You need to cancel over the email. For 2 months they were charging me for no reason.
Over all they are a group of mob which makes a great living by robbing people. My advise to you guys is not to go with this insurance. Even if you go be very very careful. Don t take their word for it unless they give it to you in writing.

I insured my car on early last month in September and later when the insurance documents was sent I found inconsistencies in there credit interest rates, after which I cancelled my insurance with them.
My call to RCIB to cancel the insurance took me more than one hour to get through to them after sending emails without response. At the end I cancelled the insurance and till date I have not received my refund. According to them it will take about one month to refund your balance and it's now more than 3 weeks without any refund.

Absolute rubbish. Tried for 3 months to change the date of my direct debit for my insurance. First month couldn t be changed as it was my first payment, that s fair enough. Second month was too close to the due date, again fair enough. Was advised on month 2 to ring back atleast 5 days before next due date to be able to change - done this and they said it can t be done unless I pay 2 instalments or an acceleration payment. Absolutely unbelievable. Had direct debits for years with other providers for other bills and never experienced anything like this over changing a date to align with my payday!! I d understand if it was outside of the month, but it s litetally a week later! Wouldn t recommend, imagine the hassle if a claim needed to be made! Cannot wait for this policy to be finished to go elsewhere!

I purchased a policy online and could not add breakdown cover but it said I would be contacted before any payment was made so I thought I will ask the advisor to add this when they called me. After clicking confirm I received an email (generic) saying "my name is......... (No name entered) please give me feedback on the service you have recieved". (Very unprofessional to not even enter a name). I then tried to call them and waited 45 mins to get through to them to only be cut off this happened again after 30 mins waiting. I just hope to god I don't need to claim.... My policy will of ran out by the time I get through. Overall an uncontactable customer service is unacceptable in my views so would not recommend at all.

I am not a customer of this company but they have sent numerous letters for one of their customers to my address In error. I have phoned, been assured they will correct the error, emailed, phoned again, returned letters marked 'not known at this address' all to no avail - the letters keep arriving. Presumably the customer the letters are meant for has no knowledge of these letters and as a result might be at a serious disadvantage.
I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole and would advise anyone else thinking about it to go elsewhere. If this is 'First Choice' heaven help those who go for the second choice.

Worst insurance company i have ever used, went with them for bike insurance which firstly was a nightmare to get sorted, i had to send multiple documents including log book ect, was with them for 2 months and stopped using the bike i rang to cancel and was told i am being charged 40% of my total policy an 85 pound cancellation fee and a 10 pound admin fee? Costing 240 pound total. Would not let me cancel untill it was paid and was told it goes up per to 60% of the total policy if the policy continued for another month. I have never been charged a percentage of a policy to cancel ever. This is a complete scam of a company. AVOID.

If it's this much hassle to start a policy can just imagine what a claim would be like. Thank you Right Choice I think I have made the right choice in going elsewhere. Absolutely terrible.

Firstly, I had to ring three times simply to get my insurance set up as I was on hold for more than an hour each time. Not a great start.
The manager then rang me back, having gone back to the original price, and I thought "OK, it's a one off, just get it sorted".
Two months and 25 emails later, and I'm still having to provide documentation for them with letters saying my policy is in danger of being cancelled. To clarify, this is because they need my no claims discount proved in a certificate format, rather than as a letter. I've contacted my old insurance company five times to request this, and they're as baffled as I am.
Now I've come on here and seen that everyone seems to have issues with right choice!

Update [16/12/2020]: The Financial Ombudsman Service has settled the matter for me. RCIB has finally contacted and issued me a copy of my NCB.
Suggest to bring your case to the ombudsman if you're not getting responses from the company.

As like many others, purchased through comparison site, mine through Comparethemarket, needed insurance for new car immediately. Bought car drove home, following day decided to call for documents, the phone numbers don't work. Received email saying I have a cancellation notice on my insurance, still unable to call. Another email saying validation needed, still unable to call. I immediately cancelled direct debit request, then received another email saying I have another cancellation notice, 7 days longer than previous one which was supposed to cancel.
