Worst customer service advisors and truly a scam from reading a lot of online threads. They have a fee for cancellation even if its within the 14day cooling off period and honestly they recruit the worst humans known to mankind who posses the worst talking skills let alone customer service skills! Maria in customer care had the nerve to tell me how rude I am and decided to have a debate over the phone to who was being rude like it was a school ground. I've worked enough customer service jobs to understand how to deescalate a situation rather than fueling it! I'm only giving one star because I have to in order to post this! Also this is just a friendly warning for anyone thinking to take insurance out with them. PLEASE THE ONLINE THREADS BEFORE DOING SO, YOU WILL SAVE MORE AND PREVENT WRINKLES FROM THE RAGE they will make you feel after speaking to their customer service team.
Difficult to deal with. I needed to change car since mine broke down. They said they can't give me any more than two quotes in 24 hours and that is need to ring back the next day.
Also would not offer insurance on a lease car for anything less than two years even though it would be a matter of weeks until I purchased a new car.
I wouldnt even give a 1star to thses people. Worst experience ever worst customer service ever. Total rip off . My biggest mistake for joining them and and im regretting it since as I had no choice but to join them. I can't wait till my policy ends and I can leave and I will never ever going back to them even if they are the last insurance company on this planet. It's so funny how all the 5 star reviews praises always a different name, how many operators do they really have? This was my first and last time dealing with these clowns, just don't bother and you'll live longer.

i purchase the car insurance from them, after they took the payments from my bank they haven t even send me the documents, when i call them to ask wether am i insured or not? they just keep transferring me to different different lines, i was still in the line, i was not happy at all. very very poor service, the receptionist billy said they going to call me back, but i m stuck here i don t know wether i can drive home or not, they are not helpful at all, when i ask questions they just say simply they don t know.
I have been calling them couple of days. after long waiting no one response the call. once they receive call. they do not talk to me. on hold me they are talking with they are colleagues. so bad service i have ever seen. does not care customer. even though i emailed them but no reply at all.

If I could rate it lower I would. The call staff I spoke to a younger male, made me feel completely unvalued as a customer. There was so willingness to help me check insurance prices for a change of bike, with the addition of audiable sighing about having to look for me. He then didn t want to put on the quote that I had a restrictor, a legal requirement of my license!

Absolute joke. Would give a negative star if I could. I have been trying to get insured since the 10th of September. First they gave me an online quote, then took my money and then sent a message to say I should note that I am not insured and that one of their Web teams will get in touch SHORTLY to confirm/verify details... Well, that sounded reasonable. Guess what, we are now on the 18th of September and I guess in the world of Right Choice Insurance, this wait still falls under the definition of getting back 'shortly'. I have spent over 6 hours on their phones which never get answered once you've been passed on to the queue. Today just like previous days, It is now 21:12pm, I have been on hold for One Hour and THIRTY Five minutes and counting. I am going somewhere else. If they are this bad at the beginning then God helps you when you would really need them.

Takes a long to get through on the phone line, but once the phone is answered the service is excellent. Spoke to Vrisha who was polite and kept me informed of everything she was doing and updating on the system. Happy with the service.
Do not use this company. Impossible to get hold of anyone on the phone, and impossible to try and cancel policy, as you cannot talk to anyone!
It took a while but the person I spoke with today (Harry) was very polite and thorough. I wasn't too happy about my price going up after my occupation changed (it's difficult to say exactly what I do given the choices available) but Harry was very understanding and worked some magic and got it reduced. To a much happier price for me.

He Also explained about a previous issue which may be hindering my policy renewals and advised what I could do to rectify.. Would definitely recommend the company and helpful staff

Avoid at all costs. They do not have a clue what they are doing!!! They "make up" numbers and dates on your proposal form which clearly states that any incorrect information could make your policy null and void. When we rang up to try and get the details changed to the correct information so that our policy would be legal their customer services said they were unable to carry out these changes????? How / why?????
I have had car insurance for over 35 years and can quite honestly say that I have NEVER had as many errors on a policy as this set of clowns have produced. Incompetent does not begin to describe this company.
Even when I tried to complain their complaints email bounced back!!! Their customer service staff are poorly trained and their IT systems are even worse.
There are so many insurance companies out there than can offer prices as good, if not better, that these idiots. Avoid at all costs

Terrible company. I would strongly advise people to never go near this company. There are hidden charges, poor customer services and no guarantee they won't cancel your policy out of the blue.
Not to be unbalanced, here are the pros and cons I experienced:
Pros:
1. They are cheap (excluding hidden costs)
Cons:
1. I've been with them for 2 years and couldn't get a no claims certificate due to the fact I changed my car (even though I only amended this and kept the same policy).
2. On average, it would take over an hour to get through to customer services and they seldom answered the query.
3. I found myself paying costs outside of my original quote.
4. It took nearly 1.5 years for them to send my documents to me.
5. They cancelled my policy out of the blue (leaving me stranded in work until I could take out new insurance. When I quizzed this they explained as I had changed address and hadn't sent a new copy of my licence they cancelled after a week of informing them. It was 6 days AND I explained I was waiting for my new licence to arrive - as if I could get a new one within 6 days of moving house!
I would give 0 stars if I could.
She is very good and reduce my car insurance premium. I was not very happy with Right Choice last year when I join but this year, renewal price was very good and happy with their service. Hopping to stay with them for many years if they give us good price and support.

Amanda took me through the entire process of my policy renewal. It was quick, smooth, and at the end she managed to make it cheaper for me. She is very professional, and also has a big attention to detail which came up when i accidentally made a mistake with my total millage on my vehicle. I`m very grateful for her assistance, and a result of that it is my second year with RCIB.
I have nothing positive to say about this lot of idiots,keep you hanging on the phone for hours,do not reply to emails, canceled my policy and had to contact credit card company to file a dispute to get my money back took four weeks and lost out to ripoff charges BAD BAD BAD FIRM you have been warned.

SCAM artists. Search results are cheapest online but when you call them they ask you every single question again and look for discrepancies so they can accuse you of having made a mistake online so then offer you a much higher price. Advisers are trained to look for discrepancies as they know they cant offer the online price. When they cant find a discrepancy they will ask you about your credit history and questions not asked online so they can say that the quote is no longer as offered online. They will say you or your vehicle are actually a higher risk than thought. Imagine taking out insurance with these scammers and God forbid you need to make any changes these vultures will fleece you and hold you to ransom. Highly unprofessional. Kept me waiting for ages. Call duration was 1.5 hours and cut me off. They are cowboy brokers not insurers. Stay well well away.

Stay away! There's a reason they are always the lowest priced quote on comparison sites. Once signing up, prices are always raised by some 'validations'. No one picks up the phone, you are on hold for hours! Once they raise the premium and you want to cancel, there's a fee to do so! Test this review and ring them before signing up, watch how long it takes and dont forget to ask them if the price will go up from what was quoted on the Internet. Its a method to reel you in. Pay the next price up and get better insurance. I've learnt my lesson after signing with them twice. Test this review.

The worst company ever. Think all the positive feedback written by themselves. They will call you either early morning or late eve to ask more money and if you ask why? they will threaten to cancel the policy e.g., on your way to work or at night just before then old policy runs out. They are dishonest and very rude, they will shout at you if you question them like you're an animal not a client. Not feeling safe as They will call every other week to ask more money. Read the reviews majority of people had the same experience, i beleive positive feedbacks are just fluke. I think they are very dangerous and hope there is a way to stop them. I bought my car insurance through gocompare in spetember, it was 1300 pounds and with RCIB. So I went for it, 300 pounds firsr payment and rest in monthly instalments. When they phoned me they rose the price to 2200! They had hard selling technic. When I said I wont go for it, they said it will take a week to get my money back! So I had no choice as 300 pounds was all I had at the time to insure my car. Than they forced me to sign premium finace with some brother close comapny. On friday I sold my car so next day I phoned them up to cancel my insurance. They told me 560 quid for cancellation and apparently it was axa who had such a high cancellation fees. I said I wont pay this. After I phoned AXA about it and they said cancellation fees are none or 35 pounds.
Edited: after few emails my cancellation fee was reduce to 16 pounds also after investigating RCIB offered me a refund of 183 quid. Regardless to all issues they clean up their mess and left me with good impression.

This company make an art form of scamming their customers. The amount of terms and conditions dedicated to extracting money from you and tying you up in legal loopholes is staggeringly unbelievable.
They will quote you the cheapest, take payments from you, wait until you're outside of your 14 day cooling off period, then tell you you haven't declared your details properly. Hike your premiums up to double the original amount, or if you try and cancel they'll charge you fee after fee.
One of their T&C's is if you cancel your policy, you have to pay 33% of your total years premiums, plus admin fees plus cancellation fees adding up to nearly half of a total year's premiums. Disgraceful.

Give cheap quote online then will make up things to add more money on your premium. In my case added a fault claim and when i questioned it as this was non-fault the sales guy changed his tone and became rude.

Awful.. i sent my documents through post and they got lost so they cancelled my insurance but they want the remaining balance paid joke! They offerd to weave the balance if i take out another policy with them. They contacted people to try get money of me but having none of it

My premium was 1200 for a year, I received 9 points when 4 months left until reneval, so they asked to pay extra 700. However when I did a new quotation online the price they were offering was just 100 more with all 9 points for the all 12 months... What a joke.
Also my direct debit failed one day, so I rang the same day to pay by the card-they charged me direct debit failure fee (25-30 can't remember), doesn't matter that premium was paid on time. Again, what a joke.
I wanted to cancel 4 months before the end of contract, after I nearly paid a full year's premium (they only take 9 payments) so I've been told that I'll owe money, even knowing that they should be owing me cos I nearly paid for full year.
Rip off, disgusting company.
