We purchased a 2018 Canyon SLT from Keith Myers and I feel that we were treated fairly with this Dealership. I was referred by my daughter and son in law to Keith as they were very happy with the relationship they established with him on their recent purchase experience. Keith displayed a vast knowledge of his products and personally owns a Canyon as well. He rolled up his shirt sleeves and went to bat for my wife and myself. We met Garret Green during the transaction who personally took an interest in our deal making sure we were satisfied. On to Lance Dattilo the Finance Manager who does and knows his job as well. I feel my relationship with this dealership will continue to grow this ultimately was the best vehicle purchasing experience my wife and I have ever had, and trust me I've done a few. Quite frankly after my experience yesterday we feel we didn't deal with a salesman but with a friend. So if you're looking to purchase a new vehicle go and see Keith and tap in to his 33 years of expertise at this dealership. Thank you Gary Donovan, Dayton, Nevada.

Matt Kelly was great. He took his time explaining all the technical stuff the truck has. We were very pleased with the service. Way better experience than our local dealer offered. Everybody took the time to listen to our needs and went beyond and above to get us the best deal for our budget.

I believe you have the perfect position for Haley Carlson (It would not surprise me if she was promoted to GM someday). We have had our vehicles repaired at your facility since we purchased them in 2004. Haley has been the best communicator and when there is an issue Haley will make it right. Thank you for the great service.

Service attendent was helpful curteous and excellant appearence. I had a messeage on the screen of my Sierra Denali that my oil was low. Called made an appointment for the following day which turns out was critical for me and GMC. Seems the message in the vehicle was a little short on information as the vehicle was a minimum of 4 quarts low. out of 8 seems to me that could have caused a major repair if I had waited . I have a follow up appointment for diagnostics on Dec 1at 9 a.m. There are no exterior oil leaks according to your staff. I had not intended to buy a $60 + vbehicle witht this type of issue. I believe GMC will correct the issue appropriately and timely I have only one vehicle and my wife is ill.I need transportation daily. I was provided a spec sheet that indicates the vehicle can use up to a quart of oil in 2,000 miles and is inwithin tolerance I was surprised never had any vehicle I have owned with that had this as an accetable tollerence. I enjoy the vehicle and service at GMC has been excellant.

Just don t get customer service, the churn in people, puts a burden on the customer. Had to call and go back for a part they didn t have 4 times. Then I had to pay up front for the part. Has to be someone in Reno that still believes that customer service is a thing and works on GMC cars.

Overall my experience was positive. The dealership can do better in a few way even now with COVID. In my previous vehicle purchasing experience I was show every tiny feature on the vehicle and how it works. Here that experience didn't happen. It was not told to me that I'd receive the necessary form to complete my vehicle registration in the mail. My paper tag doesn't have my name or address on it. My sales man was very pleasant and nice. I had originally made an appointment see the truck I ultimately purchased but when I arrived someone else was in the process of buying it. The sales man who contacted me wasn't the one who finalized my deal but another one. All these things are fine if you do mind going with the flow and getting shuffled. I found it to be fun since it happens at work to me all time. Being friendly and nice goes a lot way but following a process and seeing everything is done correctly is better.

Reno Buick GMC Cadillac is one of the best experiences I have had in a LONG time with ANY Dealership. On a trip from Oregon to Las Vegas Nevada, I encountered some real problems with my GMC Truck not getting enough fuel to the engine. Jim, the service writer was excellent to deal with. Jim made sure that the problem was fixed to my complete satisfaction. Hey, I made it home without one single problem.

I would ALWAYS recommend them to anyone for Service and Sales !!
They are GREAT !!!!!!

At 63 years old I have purchased many cars and trucks. I have never offered a review of any past dealers. But now I want to offer one about these folks. From the time I walked onto their lot to now I have never been treated as well as I have. Absolutely no pressure, no sales gimmicks, they listen to me on what I wanted and took a lot of time to make sure I got what I wanted and not what they wanted to sell. Before going to Reno GMC I had visited quite a few other dealers and I was exhausted from hearing the sales pitches over and over. I was greeted with a unique 'take your time and look around'. When I did find what I wanted I was amazed to hear my sales rep ask me 'are you sure this is what you want'? I've never heard a car salesperson ask me that. These are good people sincere about what they are doing

Taken our 2017 Acadia to get repaired here several times and they can't seem to figure out what is wrong with it. Last time we brought it in was over a month ago and Desiree said they needed to order more parts. Now she will not return any of my wife's calls and I doubt it takes over a month for a part order to come in. If you can take your vehicle in for service somewhere other than here I suggest that you do it.

I schedule an appointment for Saturday at 8:20 in ...

I schedule an appointment for Saturday at 8:20 in the morning was on time to get an oil change/filter, transmission fluid/filter and front end alignment. Was giving an estimate of $800 + and would be done by 12:30 & 1:00 that day 4.2hr. Which neither were true. Arrived early at 11:45 and told the service associate I was there to pick up my car they said it was not done. I waited till 12:31 and then walk back up to them and ask them if my car was finished they told me there was a problem, that they put in the wrong transmission fluid in my specific 2016 Cadillac ATS that they were draining the wrong fluid and putting in the correct fluid. I asked why I was never notified of this they had no answer. So I waited till 1:30 and approach the service technician again and he had said a hose blew on their equipment while they were changing the motor oil this time which resulted in motor oil all in the engine compartment and dripping underneath now it was 2:00 and they still had not done the front end alignment. I told them to cancel the front end alignment because I had no confidence in their ability to do the job correctly. Finally was able to get my car out of there at 2:15, with oil all over my engine compartment completely unsatisfied. When you take your Cadillac to a Cadillac dealership you expect them to know what they are doing. What specific parts and fluids go into your vehicle. I didn't take it to a fly-by-night uncertified technician shop but that's how I felt. In the end I had to take my car to the carwash with Degreaser to get rid of the oil that was left in the engine compartment.

This dealership is laughable. My daughters car has been here for 37 days. They first said a turbo was out, then it was the pistons, then the engine was shot,, after they said the warranty was intact, and the engine would need replacenent. They got approval. Now they say it's a broken hose. These people have no idea what they're doing. 37 + days to figure out she has a broken hose.
She is a single mom with three kids. They messed around and messed around and left her without a car, for more than a month. Please don't allow these idiots to work on your car

First I have to explain my daughter purchased a Ta...

First I have to explain my daughter purchased a Tahoe from a Chevy dealer (not Champion next door) she ordered it with navigation. It came with what they called navigation if you pay On-Star $37.50 a month for as long as you want navigation. After the 6 month On-Star trial period he navigation stopped and they told her to pay On-star to get navigation. That Chevy dealer just made a new Mercedes customer and lost a person that buys a very expensive car every 3 or 4 years.

We ordered a Terrain Denali with navigation from Reno Buick GMC Cadillac and it came with the same so called navigation system. The salesman Beau Baker realized that the navigation system was not a true navigation system when he tried to demonstrate it to us; he apologized and set out to find another vehicle that met everything we wanted in a vehicle including a GPS based navigation system. He found one in Elko Nevada; he had it here within 2 days. But this new car had several added options that were not on the car we ordered; the dealership eat the cost of the added options and still apologized for the original error.

My appraisal: a good dealership, with honest salesmen, and a fair price on their vehicles.

I have had the worst experience with this business...

I have had the worst experience with this business as a whole. My husband and I bought a car here 2 months ago and it has been a tremendous regret. I haven t even made my second payment on this car and it s already been in the shop twice (this second time being almost 2 weeks). When we initially bought the car the salesman didn t turn in paperwork on it so while we were waiting for our superior GM inspection, other staff were test driving it with random people (after we had signed all the papers on it). So after waiting more than a week I had to call in to check on the status, and I was told what happened and the car was rushed out 2 days later.
The first time it malfunctioned was before I made the first payment. The engine light and brake lights came on at random times. ( The service department did give me a loaner car for the 2 days they had my car) The technician drove my car home and used up more than 1/2 a tank of gas and returned it to me like that. I was then informed that they didn t know what was wrong but to use a diagnoses sheet if it malfunctioned again. Well I didn t have to do that because a couple weeks later the car didn t start at all. I had little time to leave my job to pick up my 3 month old baby from daycare before they closed. My husband had to leave his job and get our son and I had to wait at my work until a car could be brought to me. I was given a very nice car as my loaner but was left with a quarter of a tank of gas and told it had to be returned at that amount. I have yet to get an update on my car without myself calling in to the store myself, and still have no idea what is going on with my vehicle. I was once told by service that they had no idea what was wrong then I was told they ordered a new part and that it would be fixed the next day. It had been 4 days since I was told that and I had to call in myself only to find out that they weren t even sure the part had arrived.
The customer service has been completely subpar. I am not blaming them that the car isn t working properly, even though the superior GM certified inspection has proved to be less than adequate. I am completely dissatisfied that a manager told us that we should accept that things break down even though this car is a 2017 with 25,000 miles on it.

11/23/18
I called in because my car is not starting and I just got a new battery 2 days ago. I was told that it is not their problem that he can t fix the car, or that they sold me this lemon.

Of all the car buying and car owning experiences I've had in my life, working with Reno Buick GMC has been *the* best. And their service department is outstanding. They keep track of what is due to be done and when, and I appreciate their attention to detail. Whether dealing with someone on the phone or in person at the shop or the parts department, you can count on everyone being friendly and professional.

Beau was fantastic!! He tolerated a near month long ordeal being supportive along the way. I went in looking to lease but was hesitant. Beau brought Dan in to discuss how a lease could look. I did my own research and found these guys to be spot on and honest.

Mike in the accessories department was very courteous and helpful in guiding me in my selections for my new truck.

I feel I got a fair deal and was treated with respect.

I own a GMC Yukon that is aging. A small electrical problem involving an injector connector wire was robbing me of power and gas mileage. More of a nuisance than a serious matter. However, I brought it in. I don't know which mechanic worked on it, but Doug Kidder was my Service Representative. He kept me informed about timing and estimated cost to repair. Their Courtesy drop off service saved me a great deal of time. The cause was diagnosed and repaired quickly. Runs like a Champ. Thank you Mr. Kidder and Reno Buick GMC Cadillac for helping me out. PROBABLY THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVE...

PROBABLY THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVER!!!! STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR SANITY!!!!! IT'S A LONG REVIEW, BUT WELL WORTH THE READ.

I have purchased 3 cars from Reno Buick GMC Cadillac and have horrible experiences with each one. The first vehicle I purchased was a 2007 Cadillac CTS. I paid cash so I got a pretty good deal on it. The sales guy told me it was a certified vehicle and provided me with a list of all of the maintenance that had been done on the car. He explained that in order for the car to be certified, it has to meet certain standards.

Fast forward...2 weeks later. I decided to go visit family 8 hours away. When I was almost to my destination, my transmission started acting weird. By the time I arrived at my family's house, my car would barely go 40 miles per hour. I was in a small town, on a weekend and there were no shops open to look at it. I had to leave my car there and get a one way rental home. That Monday, my grandma took the car to a mechanic. He said there wasn't a big issue, however, it appeared that the transmission fluid had NEVER been changed. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? The dealership provided me a list, showing that the transmission was just serviced, by them. The shop changed the fluid, voila, problem fixed.
As if my first experience wasn't enough to make me stay away...I fell for it again. This time with a car for my sister, a 2009 Saturn. Again, I got a good deal on the vehicle, everything checked out, the vehicle was a Q certified vehicle, allegedly meeting certain criteria. A few months later, we started having issues with the vehicle. We took it to the shop at the dealership. After having the car for about a week, they decided to contact us and give us our FIRST update, advising that they had JUST looked at the car! Wait, what? We gave the car to them a week prior.I thought they would be calling to tell us it was ready for pickup! NOPE! They explained that they had to order a part and it should be done in a week. A week later, we picked up the car. A month later, it went back in the shop FOR THE SAME PROBLEM THAT THE SAID THEY FIXED. About a week later, the car was out of the shop. My sister went to pick it up, was driving for about 5 miles....THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. The light was not on before we dropped it off. This was the first time the light had ever come on. She took the car back. This time, they had the car for 3 weeks. Long story short, in the time they had the car, they admittedly FORGOT THE CAR WAS THERE! Finally, she got the car back, and as of last week, she is having the same issue that they were supposed to fix the first time she took the car in.
And because I am a glutton for punishment, I purchased a 2015 Chevy Malibu from them in Jan 2016. I had a great experience with the sales guy and I absolutely love the car. However, like with the previous cars, the car started to have mechanical issues. This time I paid $3,000 for an additional warranty on the car. I took the car in for a smell of coolant. The guy at the service department asked if I wanted to wait for the car, I told him that I would be back later. Then he asked, "well is it ok if we keep it until tomorrow?" Umm...why would you ask if I want to wait? Were you going to have me wait until tomorrow? I reluctantly said yes and got a ride home.

The next day, I called to check the status of the car because they had not called me. They told me I could come pick it up. When I arrived, they proceeded to tell me that yes, there is a leak, however, they do not know where from. HOLD ON A MINUTE....ISN'T THAT THE REASON FOR TAKING IT IN? TO HAVE THEM FIND THE PROBLEM?!?! I told him that his response was ridiculous and that's why we took the car in. Obviously there is an issue. He then told me that if the smell continues, I would need to bring it in again....and GM doesn't allow them to "just throw parts at vehicles." So, let me get this straight. My car has a coolant leak, it's covered under warranty, however, GM won't allow you to "throw the parts at it?" What a JOKE! My car still isn't fixed.

We were told multiple times they had a vehicle available when they did not, Efron tried selling him a $41K truck. They lied through there teeth shook my sons hand telling him congratulations everything is good and we have a deal!!! When we were brought into the finance department I asked Alex who was helping us , so everything was approved and all is good? He responded with a wink and said " I do this all day everyday, no worries" LOL I looked at him and said NO my son is not going to leave here and get his hopes up and get a call from you on Monday saying sorry we could not get you approved !!! He got on the phone and JEEZ guess what?.... he was approved but not at the deal he shook hands on !!!! My son stuck to what he could do financially and said no and walked out I was extremely proud of him for making that decision!!! Bottom line is they are all crooks and will lie through there teeth !!!
My son ended up getting a different truck the next day from a different dealer who worked with him and gave him a great deal and a way nicer truck then the one at Reno Buick GMC (which by the way had scratches all down the bed of it) ....and he did it all on his own!

Once again, I leave the service department with a low tire. After I specifically told my service advisor(Greg) that I had a low tire. He told me, "We inspect the tire pressure on every service." I politely informed him that his statement was incorrect and that the last service that I had performed by them was about 3 months prior and my tire pressure was not checked, among other things crucial to the specific service it was in for. I find it disturbing that something as simple as checking the tire pressure is so hard to accomplish for their service techs.

Have to say for a certified gm service center felt like a 45k mile service would have full checked everything from the lights to the tire well they over looked a key part to the truck my electrical system. Less then 1000 miles later the alternator caught on fire funny when I confronted them about it they told me they didn't check voltage out put on my alternator then in my book I wasted my money thinking they would do a complete a gm certified job what a joke

Wife and I ended up at Reno GMC after looking at trucks at other dealerships. Not a fan of looking at vehicles at dealerships because you get overloaded with sales personal but Soto was not that sales person. Not pushy or to aggressive. He listened to what we wanted in a vehicle and he was more than helpful. We told him what we wanted before signing and he made it happen. Was the best vehicle shopping experience we've had...Ever! Thank you Soto. Wish there were more people like you out there.

We have a vacation home in Reno and live in Calif....

We have a vacation home in Reno and live in Calif. We had friends visiting from Richmond VA for 1 week. We were on our way to Zepher Cove to take the Dixie 2 paddle boat on a dinner cruise on Lake Tahoe late Wednesday afternoon when we blew a heater core hose. The Cruise company was very gracious and allowed us to transfer to Friday.
3 hrs later we arrived by tow truck at Reno GMC. After getting our GMC Yukon XL Denali unloaded and paperwork done it was already dark. The dealership up front said no rental cars or loaner cars after 5pm. But just as I was looking up Uber to take us to the airport to rent a car, Mark Payne a Service Advisor was just exiting after a late meeting on his way home to relieve the nanny that stayed late because of the late meeting. 90% would have just passed and politely nodded hello. Not Mark .. he said he would be glad to drop us off at the airport! And he absolutely refused to accept money to buy the kids some pizza on the way home. This whole thing we found amazing in the world we live in today, and reflects on the the type of I am sure of many of the employees that work at Reno GMC.. I will give them a shot at our next Denali when we are ready to buy again.
And the service department got our car done that very next day and finished it up by 2pm even though they had a very full schedule.
Thank You!

I would like to thank the dealership for making loaner cars available. It is one of the key differences between me going to a dealership versus a private auto shop. I also appreciate the extra care and attention provided by the auto mechanics with my vehicle. Doug did a good job keeping me apprised of what they were doing to the car, testing their work, driving it and making sure everything was OK. I would like to give a special thanks to the gal who helped me with a loaner car program. She was courteous, helpful and made all the difference in making the time without my vehicle bearable! I couldn t of done it without her!

We've been in love with the Dodge Charger since they started making it again. We brought our Saturn in for service yesterday morning and saw a beautiful 2011 on the lot. We came back after work and met with Doug, who introduced us to Ken. Instant rapport! Ken grabbed the keys and we headed out for a test drive. Before we knew it, we were the proud owners of a "new to us" Dodge Charger. Ken made us feel comfortable from the get-go. There was no pressure and he was up front with us the entire time. After a couple of back and forths between Ken and Garrett, we had a deal we felt really good about. Signing the paperwork with Mike was smooth and seamless. He was great to work with and gave us an awesome deal on the Xzilon we really wanted. There wasn't one employee at Reno BGC who didn't make us feel welcome throughout the entire process. Our experince with them, and especially Ken, was awesome and we will recommend them to everyone we know who is looking for a new or used car!

The magnetic charger in my 2017 Yukon SLT quit working so I called and made an appointment with service, while on the phone with the young lady in scheduling she informed me there was a recall on the windshield wipers regarding proper fit. She inquired if I would like that checked while it was in for service. I thought it was very pro-active to bring that up so I agreed.
Chuck in the service department took care of my questions, ordered me a rental car and made sure I was comfortable till the rental car showed up.
As it turned out the magnetic charger doesn't work with my Galaxy S7 Edge, only S6 and older. It's still a handy place to put the phone as it fits perfectly on the charger and is secure.
I've taken all of my GMC's to this service department for the past 14 years, they've always been very polite and kind and have never failed to fix the problem and I have brought them some true challenges!
Greg, Daylen and Jim have been there as long as I've been taking my vehicles there and this time I met Chuck who is just as kind and thorough as the rest.
Always a pleasure to see everyone! Thank you for your help all these years!

Update: after our first big snow storm, I found that my car would not make it up a small slope. Then it wouldn't make it out of my driveway. I went in for my oil change and asked how to turn on the 4x4, and his response was that my car was fwd. The reason I bought the car was to have the 4x4. I am not happy that I was lied to by multiple people who swore it was. Bought my car around April/May. Service was great, they were super friendly and kind that i had my then 1 yr old there with me. Took it in last month for the first oil change. everyone was friendly, snacks for my little one were available. both times i was there i apologized for my son wanting to run all over the place and their response to me was "well we have kids too so don't worry about it". The waiting area has a place for little ones to keep entertained. We got a great deal didn't really have to negotiate much since they came back with a great offer, a good percent and a good payment. overall super happy with my purchase. We have had a super great summer traveling in our new car. making new memories. Only reason i wont give 5 stars is because i felt like there selection could be bigger even though they were on two lots.

Overall very good service, fast, friendly and professional. Some attention to detail was lacking. After some discussion I asked for a tire rotation and it was not performed. But I was given a comp for a free tire rotation with next service.

Going to Reno-Buick-GMC was actually my first time purchasing a car from a dealership, and though I thought the situation was going to be tiring and overly stressful it was actually a very professional, comfortable, and painless process. During my visit my sales consultant was Erwin Soto, whom I had contacted a week or so prior, when I expressed interest in a vehicle on the lot. Upon arrival, Soto made the vehicle purchasing process quick and easy; he explained everything in-depth, and made sure to answer any questions I had. He even found an additional key for my vehicle and made sure to follow up with me to make sure that I was happy with my purchase. I can t thank Soto and Reno-Buick-GMC enough for getting me into my new car! I would highly recommend them for all new/used vehicle purchases.

I've been coming here for 12 years since before it changed names and owners. It's the best and most honest service and most honest sales I've ever found anywhere. I had my Chevy Impala serviced here because your service is so far superior to the Chevy dealer's even though they are right across the street! Then I bought a newer pre-owned Chevy Impala from you because the service manager found it for me and got the sales dept. to give me the most fair price ever! I usually avoid dealerships because of pushy salespeople, but yours are great! I love Reno Buick GMC and would recommend it to everyone!

We dropped off our vehicle and told the service tech we needed it by 4:30, he said someone would call but they never did. We called multiple times and left messages but no one ever returned our phone calls. I finally left a message at the service desk and someone did call me back but it wasn't the service technician and she couldn't answer any of my technical questions about the vehicle. The whole experience was extremely disappointing. My car ended up being there three days and they charged me over $300 for the diagnosis of a strange rattling sound that they said was normal for a car my age, 2015.

Biggest joke of service department. Brought in my car to get the window fixed that wasnt going back up had an appointment they didn't get to my car that day so brought it in the day after again. They had told me it was going under my warranty and after having me wait 5 hours turns out I have to pay out of pocket on the spot or they won't let me leave with my car.
