run away they deny all referrals for screenings, It's extremely sad to see how people are denied care as their health declines.

The customer service representative was rude offensive and unwilling to answer any questions that weren t even related to the patient directly. I was asking about company policy wanting to lead into asking about forms and she would speak right over me and get progressively louder and more unprofessional. As a conservator it was frustrating as a family member it was hurtful because this is pertaining to my brothers feeding pump without one he won t be able to eat at all. If she had the luxury to understand compassion over just pure company policy then maybe the rating would be a little bit higher despite the frustrations of sharing of information. I understand HIPPA and happy to give what s necessary but after a 30 minute wait for someone even to answer I wanted to stream line beat practice to avoid missing crucial steps so I m not shut down from discussing CRITICAL healthcare needs. Oh and cherry on top is their fax number isn t working. Walking into the office I am!

This company, whom at the time I had never heard of, sends me a letter stating that they are changing my primary care physician to a downtown clinic... No thank you... I am an hour's drive away from downtown and I have no vehicle. When I called to inquire why and who exactly they were I was told to call my insurance.. they couldn't tell me why they even sent this letter.. my insurance tells me all is the same in their book.. I called my Dr and found out they stopped accepting my insurance, which is fine. So on my own I found a new Dr within a 10 mile radius whom does accept my insurance and new patients, all with no help from this place or any answers to anything at all.

I love the help I get when I call for information.. Always friendly staff..

Worst Worst WORST incompetence EVER!!! I have 2 torn tendons and a torn labrum in my shoulder. I only got an MRI after vising my office 4 times, the referrals office three times and filing a complaint AND a grievance through Blue Cross. Now I have an MRI and PROOF that my pain and injuries are real. I went into the office yesterday and handed them my MRI results. I was told the doctor would look at it today. I went over today and was told, "I don't know who told you that would happen, your doctor isn't in until next Tuesday (that is 5 days from now!) I am in so much pain that I wake up several times per night. I had to get a referral to "pain management" through their office. It was denied because the referrals office never received my medical records that I submitted 4 TIMES (once by FAX and 3 times I handed it to the desk person and WATCHED them make copies of it.) I have had to drive from the office on How ave. to the referrals office on Sunrise now 3 times. I fear this will not get handled at any point in the near future. I am furious by their treatment of me and saddened that they probably treat people like this who don't have the time, means, or energy to drive the 30 miles back and forth between offices. Oh, and BTW the only positive reviews of this office that I can find are from people who are in business/cahoots with these people. FRUS-TRAT-ED!

I really hope can give 0 star but unfortunately google does not have that option they are the worse medical group and they assign all the all to Dr. Khiara.

i want to start out by stating that i would give River City Medical Group a minus stars if it were possible. hen i first put my mother on river city it was because in the medical handbook they have river city /Anthem Blue Cross as having 3 stars across the board out of 4. especially when it comes to the elderly and people with breathing problems. it took no time at all for me to find out this was a lie. when i attempted to go on the medical web site and leave a truthful revie for anyone who might make the mistake of enrolling in river city for health care, the site would only allow me to leave a score of 3 stars or more. anything less it would give me an errore message so the web site is rigged. to make a long story short they refused any type of care for my elderly mother, no nebulizer, no pulmonologist,noe bi-pap even after several sleep studies and doctors requests even two requests from 2 different hospitals as a matter of life and death. i even took them to court and the judge found for my mother and they still denied these life saving appliances. bottom line is because they refused to help my mother she died. the hospital was able to revive her after many minutes of lack of oxygen and she has been in a coma ever since and the doctors are giving us no hope. I pray that my mothers life was not in vain and people see this post and DO Not Please Do not put your trust and the life of you or your loved one in river city or health net blue cross hands they will let you die,with no hesitation. Impossible to get ahold of... you ll call and be on hold or a long period of time- then it ll say they ll keep your place in line and call you back but you never actually get a call back. At the actual office there is always some weird drama going on- so definitely not a place for children. The office staff obviously deals with it often because it s almost humorous to them, but I would say they kind of diffuse the situations. The doctor I saw wasn t bad- she was quite nice and it sucks to have to leave such a low review... but I can do a separate review for the doc. It s ridiculous to have to wait days before getting someone on the phone and they need to figure it out.

I love going to River CITY. Dr. Garcia is wonderful as is the other doctors like Dr. Da Silva and Kelly Fluitt. I don't know why the scores are so low. The girls that work in the office and the nurses are so friendly. Sometimes you may have to wait for Dr. Garcia only because he is so popular. He takes time with his patients as they all do and as he will do to everyone. I have been going to him over 10 years and very pleased.

This company sucks they are only in it for the money. My husband is dying because they refuse to let him have a surgery he needs to live. They would rather u for the ER once a week . He has no value of life because of them n I hate them

I just called them for the first time as I was assigned to them through Aetna. After glancing at these reviews, I am pretty sure I'm not alone ha!

Worst medical group ove ever dealt with. I have battling for 5 months to get a shoulder fracture seen by an orthopedic surgeon. They have sent me over and over to the same specialist that doesn't even work on shoulders. If you have the chance run!

In February River City took over as IPA for my insurance and it has been a nightmare ever since. I have severe endometriosis and am in need of surgery to extract the endo implants, remove adhesions that are gluing my insides together, and possibly a full hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy. My gynecologist referred me to an oncology gynecologist, which River City denied. I was then told they had authorization to send me to UC Davis instead, but then River City denied that as well. They authorized to send me to a specialist in Roseville....an ABORTION specialist contracted with Planned Parenthood. That they are too stupid to know the difference between a hysterectomy and an abortion is horrifying and this is completely unacceptable. So now I have to wait for the referral to be bounced back to the insurance AGAIN in hopes that they'll get it right. I'm already being treated by a board certified OB/GYN...why they thought to send me to a lower level clinic in place of a surgeon at an actual hospital is beyond me! As soon as I get this issue resolved I'm finding another medical group.

Went to the doctor and wait for two hours and all we got was a small piece of paper that stated a number and the doctor just tell us to call that number but did not help us on anything. I had eye vision problems so I went and waited 2 hours and all I got in returned was a small paper with a phone number. The doctor just said call them and beforehand she said that when we first went the number she gave us but she didn t give us any and she claims that they were calling us and they did not even call and we did not change our phone number now she gives us this small peice of paper for us to make an appointment by ourself and she not helping making us an appointment but just tel us to do it on our own. So is us, the patient, the doctor or her, the actual doctor? A patient have to call by them self? Without knowing any information? That s is ridiculous.

We have been partners with River City for over 4 years and have always had a good relationship supplying their patients supplies and equipment.

Smith MD, INC, I work closely with River City Medical Group, our provider relation representive is Jessica she is a very helpful person always stop at our office to see if we need any help. I have also work closely with Paul and Xryztion I now they also willing to help us on any issues we may come across.

My name is Thao. I head patient referral coordination at the office of Dung Cao, MD in South Sacramento. In the past couple of years, I have seen and greatly appreciated the efforts River City Medical Group (RCMG) has put into making the referrals process as painless as possible by using an online portal system for authorization requests. I am particularly pleased with the customer service regarding help tickets. In the past, I would need to call in if I had an issue with a referral, but now I can just submit my problem online and it will be resolved in 1-3 business days. This greatly saves my time and ultimately shortens the time delay in patient care. In other areas of healthcare, RCMG has been diligent about keeping good communication with our office. RCMG representatives come to our office on a monthly basis to furnish us with reports of our patients and advice on how we can better serve them. I would like thank RCMG in general for its continued efforts in making the important duty of patient care easier and specifically Jose, Paul, and Tiffany for their direct assistance.

These people need to go out of business. They dont care for the urgency of health, if you have any referral forget it THEY WILL DENY YOU! Save your time and avoid these crooks at all cost

They blantly and maliciously denied me a referral to a podiatrist with obvious cellulitis..it came back again. If i had the energy then, i would have sued river city for everything they got ! This agency is clearly medical apartheid.

Very unprofessional and incompetent. Had to tell my Dr. Hung to use gloves when removing a bandage on a sutured laceration (6cm length). Instead of putting a new bandage on Dr. Hung just wrapped it up in the old bloody bandage without even checking the wound before sending me on my way.

Id give half a star if i could. My son has been on medi-cal since birth he is disabled and only recently have we been assigned to a managed care plan. River city Medical group REFUSED to allow my son to see the neurologist that he has been seeing since 2012. Their "dr" looked at his records and made the decision for him to not be seen there. This doctor that made this decision for my son has been on probation with the medical board, and only RECENTLY been off probation. Sickening to me that you people allow quacks like this to decide if my son needs care or not. you claim you follow medi-cal guidelines this is also a crock of dog doo as his provider is contracted to take both Anthem managed care and straight Medi-cal. I hope you can sleep at night knowing that you play GOD with peoples lives, and you use unethical doctors to do your bidding.

The company I was sent out to was very unprofessional. They provide no action to employees that are rude to patients but fire the ones that care and want to go above and beyond. It was an unfortunate place to work to be honest. Hopefully they work on this and they ll be a great company.

We have been working with RCMG for several years, Sable who is our Provider Relations Rep. is an amazing asset to RCMG. She go's above and beyond for our practice to assist in all facets, patient related or administrative. She is efficient, respectful, honest, reliable and very easy to work with. She has a very easy going personality while maintaining her professionalism. She exceeds our office expectation's when it comes to anything we may need. She is always willing to work around our schedule and helps facilitate any meetings. She is punctual and friendly, compassionate and understanding. Thank you River City for giving us someone great like Sable to work with!

I have been working with River City Medical for several years and I have always had a wonderful experience with all of their staff. Every time I call their customer service department they are always friendly and professional. Our Provider Relations representative, Marijo, always stops by my office regularly to make sure everything is running smoothly and to see if we are having any issues. Marijo makes me feel like they really do care about us and I appreciate her efforts.

Superb customer service during this global pandemic. Above and beyond. I applaud their compassion and commitment to quality healthcare.

River City Medical Group has made numerous improvements since I originally became a member. If I have questions regarding my physicians, appointments, or anything related to my health plan, I simply call River City directly for help. For example, I needed my results and they were quick to get my information to me. I am happy to be a River City member.

The worst medical and adminstrative care I ve experienced within my lifetime. Their administration staff are incompetent to say the least, not to be trusted with the most basic of tasks or knowledge. The medical staff are overbooked and most are not very attentive or willing to give more than quick fix. I ve had to file several grievances due to their astonishingly bad care practices. I spoke to an insurance representative who told me many patients are unhappy with this group and are leaving in droves, I will be joining them shortly. Stay away

Ridicules Covid 19 or not - lost paperwork for a Blood Sugar meter since Jan. Hours of phone calls and wasted time - thanks for nothing - Playying with my life just got expense.
