I there only a short time thirty (30) minits or less, however, it was plenty, to totally inpress with the staff and managment.

The hotel is located in downtown Seattle a modest walk from Pikes Place Market and Capital Hill. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and the rooms quiet and we'll appointed. The Renaissance is Parr of the Marriott family, so rewards can be accumulated/applied there. Parking is a little tight as the hotel has a five floor garage under the building for $34/night self parking. There's also valet for slightly more.
Room is clean and spacious. Walking distance from convention center and other major downtown destinations.
Windows need to be sealed shut or traffic will hum all night. Ask for some caulk at the front desk.
Great staff, enjoy the bar they have in the lobby. Great, clean rooms
Great hotel, very quick service and responsive. Really good to Bonvoy elite members. Also great location and modern vibes
Spacious rooms and within walking distance to most everything! The lobby is very fancy, and everyone was polite and helpful. There beds were firmer than I was expecting, the blanket wasn't as thick as I like, and there wasn't a proper door on my bathroom. Loved having a fridge, but the fact that there's only one microwave available for guests on only one floor.
Picked this location over the Marriot due to price. Renaissance Seattle Hotel has smaller rooms but still within 15 minutes of everything you need while visiting Seattle. Rooms were clean and I liked that you can sign into Netflix on the TVs now. Valet was still really expensive as expected. Kinda a hard location to pull up to unload and do self parking for so we did the valet anyway.
Nice. Good service. Nice views. Not inexpensive but reasonable for downtown.
Room for 400 dollars. The price does not include breakfast. This room has no drinking water. Dirty windows from which to blow. Internet paid. I'm shocked. This is the most unfortunate value for money I have ever seen.
No European outlets, give an adapter, which has to clamp something, otherwise there is no contact. I lived in hostels with much more comfort than here.
This is a great hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. The hotel is walking distance from many restaurants and bars. However, if you are planning on walking, be prepared for lots of hills. I found the walk quite challenging. Still, I would stay here again.
As a venue for business activity, it lacks everything. Space was too small and overly warm. They didn't keep up with beverages, and at the beginning their network was down during registration. I wouldn't use them for this purpose again.
Close to cafes and restaurants. 2 km to main market and waterfront down steep streets. Slightly odd flow to foyer and lobby bar nice enough but not fantastic. Helpful and friendly staff as is usual for Marriott.
Boringly same but adequate. Our room was clean but windows hadn't been washed since the 70s. Lobby bar is excellent.
Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent.
Room is nice and the shower was great but a little low for tall people.
Nice place but the front desk was badly understaffed when I checked in. I also had a problem with a 20% gratuity being automatically added to the bill in the lounge.
We stayed here the night after our wedding and had a wonderful time. The room service was speedy and delicious. The room was clean and attractive.
A well located hotel with courteous staff, good facilities and rooms
Centrally located in downtown seattle, walking distance to most attractions. Great staff and great rooms
Not overly impressed. The lounge seemed dated and the windows were so dirty you couldn't see the view.
Very beautiful place. Would recommend checking out bar and small buffet at top floor of building.
The staff was warm and welcoming. I had two tired and cranky children with me (we had traveled all day). We were checked in quickly and efficiently and I was able to usher all into bed.
Room was clean and comfortable, great view of the library, hotel bar was very nice, great staff and service all around.
Great place to stay. Great staff and beautiful hotel.
I stayed at Renaissance Hotel in early Feb and had my reservations based on some mixed reviews I had read and my normal 2 or 3 go to Hotels being booked. I had heard that hotel was beside a freeway and impossible to get a good night sleep.
Now let me dispel the rumors. I got to Hotel at 11 am and my room was ready.Jessica at front desk was lovely, in checking me in. The room was on a high up floor, could not have been more beautiful and clean and spacious when I walked in. Great bathroom and lovely water pressure, and a great desk to work remotely while I was here half on business.
Cleaning crew came every day on time and staff always got me up in morning with requested wake up call. Hotel lobby, restaurants were top notch, and there was Hot apple Cider waiting for me, during this frigid snowy rare days in Seattle.
All great Hotel stays start with a great GM, and Michael Clark was a superstar, ensuring my stay was a great one and now I am an official convert and will be staying here going forward. Michael, is extremely professional, well organized and pays attention to detail. His staff is also fantastic Fred G at concierge was amazing with directions, recommending Brunch places, etc... a truly warm friendly genuine guy. Karri who work night shift was also very gracious and accommodating with any requests I had. Andriel S was great at giving me directions to Lightrail and checking my bags in and out on my final day was quick and efficient.
Only small glitch was I had left my Bluetooth speaker in the room along with my Lenovo power charger. When I called the hotel 8 days later, and then followed up with a detailed amazon link of what it looked like(exact model) , there was some confusion, and even though I had tripled up with phone call, email and another phone call, staff at front desk and lost and found, called back and said it was nowhere to be found, and so within minutes, I ordered another brand new one on Amazon, as I needed my new Laptop for work.
Enter Michael Clark again, and superstar Ethan from loss prevention department. Turns out that in fact it was found, and they did have both items, and they were nice enough to ship it with tracking number. Again, it was Michael and Ethan who deserve praise here, the afternoon staff between 4-6 pm that day were very scattered and had no idea how to efficiently find the items even though I had guided them perfectly. I won't mention their names as that would be distasteful but hopefully management can streamline that process and experience better so that it does not happen again. In any case, the items lost were my fault in the first place. Thank you again Ethan and Michael for making this right.
In conclusion, I would not hesitate for one second in staying here, great location, great staff, great GM, and this very chic classy Hotel is a great turn key solution in meeting your needs for both a personal and work experience.
Bravo to the Renaissance team.
Great hotel, excellent location, great views and comfy beds.
I would like to pass my sincere appreciation to Ms. Gianna De La Rosa of the Renaissance Seattle Hotel. We are on our anniversary trip from St. Louis Missouri and after a very difficult trip up Interstate 5 this afternoon, Gianna was here to welcome us and provide outstanding customer service. We use the Marriott brand for our stays while on vacation or for business. During our stays we always have great service and we have definitely come to expect that. This particular review is much more than that. Gianna is the consummate professional that has the desire and the ability to serve customers and make the customer feel that they are number 1. That is exactly how she made my wife and I feel and I sincerely appreciate Gianna and the Marriott brand for having Gianna a part of the staff. Thank you and have a great day! Please pass this thank you note to Gianna and her Supervisor.
Sincerely,
Jeff and Marilyn Speer
Clean, happy environment. Pleasant and I WILL GO BACK! WORTH EVERY PENNY.
Great location, centrally located was our real need.
Location location, location...walking distance to where I want to go plus a quick 30-40min on the light rail from the airport. Impeccable service, fab corner room suite (upgrade) with 28th floor executive lounge with daily snax, drink, & breakfast. It was a category 8 but with spg marriott merger, it's currently a cat 6 but still completely fabulous.
Only 2 microwaves for the entire hotel! No directions on how to find them on the 15th floor and don't forget your keycard or you won't get in the microwave room. No water, paper towels or garbage in the room either! So don't make a mess...
This hotel is located in a nice location. Walking distance to Pike's market and pioneer square.
Our initial check in with Tami was outstanding. After that service was good. This is a clean and nice hotel.
Attended a holiday party there. It was really nice. Very easy access from the freeway. The banquet hall and ballroom were very nice. Grand and not generic. Compared to the Marriott downtown the Renaissance is much classier.
The food and service were great during our professional networking event. The rooms served us well though was a little odd that one room has the speaker on the left and the projection screen on the right. Probably the only way we could comfortably have that large of an audience in that space.
Amazing hotel. Fantastic buffet. Staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Get a floor on the upper level. Enjoy the bathrobe!!!
Best Renaissance hotel I have ever been to. Platinum club is FANTASTIC!!!
The hotel is beautiful. The room was very nice and the staff was friendly. I will definitely try out other renaissance hotels when traveling.
Besides being on a hill, it's in a great location. Services are nice, rooms clean, and the Lobby is the coolest place ever!
Staff is very polite , facility is impeccable no complaints so far .
Its in a great location. Very clean and the service is wonderful.
The parking garage is kind of odd with the lanes switched but ample parking. Great front desk staff at check in. The lounge had a decent selection of apps and a full bar with a bartender (didn't order a drink so I can't speak to prices). Slightly larger room for a city. Dated bathroom but excellent water pressure! Smart TV in the room along with a refrigerator. Microwaves available for use on designated floors which was a nice touch. Definitely can hear traffic (stayed on the 10th floor) but a noise machine would cancel that out.
Excellent food, great service. This restaurant is my favorite in Cali. It has the best uni pasta I ever tasted in my life.
Not good $41 just to park. And the people that work here are very rude.
And the hotel is right above the freeway so it is way to loud to sleep.
I stay at many hotels for my job and the Renaissance Seattle Hotel was truly nice. I had a clean polished rooms that was functional with a nice desk, AVEDA bath products with plenty of towels, the breakfast was solid. I must say above all the staff are SO attentive and polite and eager to serve. It really impressed me.
Me and my wife had a great time staying at the Renaissance hotel. Very friendly staff and good service!
Nice comfy feel to room, I enjoyed my stay. Would have been 5 stars if the shower was built for someone over 5'7"
Incredibly courteous staff. Had a nice room with two double beds. Weird bathroom door, but top notch conference facilities.
Space was clean, staff was professional, food was adequate.
The place was nice, food left something to be desired
The hotel was very emmaculate and enjoyed my stay very much. Had an amazing view from the 24th floor and staff were very friendly
Great service and rooms. Location is nice being slightly in the middle of downtown.
Nice and cozy place with launge at 28th place with amazing view.
Elegant hotel in Downtown Seattle with views of the Space Needle.
Girlfriend and I had the most expensive and cheapest wines their bar offered. Both tasted cheap and were terribly sweet. Avoid the wine. Room was acceptable.
Polite and courteous staff. Room's where clean and well taken care of. Windows where a bit dirty due to construction next door. More frequent window cleanings may be necessary as long as construction is going on.
Although the staff was friendly and helpful, this hotel needs a facelift. For the money, I expected an air conditioner that worked properly (it was hot in Seattle when I was there), a carpet that wasn't full of holes and runs, windows that were clean enough to see out of and bedding that didn't have hairs in it!! I would not stay here again.
I had a enjoyable experience here and would recommend it, we started off on the 10th floor then we got moved to the 23rd floor cause of a broken backplate. The next morning we ate at the restaurant in the hotel and boy did they have amazing food! The location and the views were great as Well!
I stay here every two weeks for work and it's the best business hotel in Seattle in my opinion.
Expensive, no free wifi, clean as n rooms friendly staff
Good hotel. Infused water is delicious. Very clean and nice workout facility. No view, opened window and was just looking into office space.
An extremely nice, clean hotel with great room accommodations and a tasty breakfast. Was in the heart of the city, right where I wanted to be and with equal accessibility to the airport and highway. Would definitely stay again.
This is one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in I love the hospitality I loved my room and The View the amenities could have been a little bit better room service could have been a little bit better but everything else the hotel is beautiful it's has nice and calm business setting! It's a nice place to stay!
