We stayed here for an event. The rooms were very nice and well put together, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The only trouble was the unexpected fees and parking costs. They wouldn't honor our parking vouchers we got, due to a conference set-up mess up. In the end we ended up spending twice what we were quoted for the room without ordering room service, internet or any other 'add-ons'.

This is my second year staying at Renaissance Seattle Hotel during Sakura-con, and it's always a joy to stay here. The rooms are beautiful and the people who work there are extremely nice.

Stayed here for a conference. Hotel is in the downtown area, and several malls, restaurants, markets, and tourist attractions are within a 15 minute walk. Rooms have pretty large TVs and conveniently placed power outlets. WiFi works well, though it's normally at an additional cost. Fitness center is pretty well equipped and staff is nice.

This place has comfy beds and it's centrally located. The rooms are nice enough, but the sliding doors in the bathrooms don't offer much privacy, so that's something to keep in mind if your staying in a room with others. The room prices are decent, but the parking is very expensive (I know that's true of most of downtown Seattle)

I'd say the stand out feature for the hotel is its location next to the free way. Half the hotel is facing this, so impossible for everyone to sleep facing sea, and the double glazing seems pretty poor and inadequate. Expect poor nights sleep and a distant ongoing rumble and shudder 24/7. Also value.. No breakfast ($20) and $13 day Internet, please. I expect more from a hotel that costs this much.

We stayed there during a weekend trip to Seattle, and really enjoyed the room. The building is pretty close to a lot of things (food, especially). About a 12 minute walk to the pike place market. Free street parking isn't easy to find around, but the lady working the front desk said that street parking isn't generally enforced in the area, on Saturdays. The are was super safe - we parked around three nights without problems, and also walked around the area during the night, without trouble.
The hotel is mostly a business hotel, so it's kinda quiet during the weekends, which was nice too. The restaurant staff was alright - one of them was super friendly, but the other one was a bit meh.
Internet connection was good and free (if you have a Marriott membership, which itself is free). Good house keeping, clean mattress and sheets and towels. Good toiletries. Would stay again.

Been very happy with service, amenities available and the layout of the room. Not too far from the center of the action but worth it for the mix of value and good setup. Wifi could use a bit of work and clearer warning that the water is not free: only noticed that bottle was $3.50 after I opened it!

Paid internet here :P rooms are alright though pretty much standard room we got two beds and a bathroom I liked the office desk a bit more in this hotel but all in all nothing really stood out :P so having to pay for internet brings the rating down for sure...
