I am dedicated to making this software work. However, be aware, I am surprised at how long it takes to do regular daily tasks. It takes me hours to pull routes for the next day, up from 15 min on my old system. The most discouraging thing is that their goal is to get it to down to 20 minutes per route pulled. Instead of 15 minutes for all routes, it is 20 minutes per route. I am pleased with every person I have talked to in the tech support division.

I cannot even begin to describe how awful our experience has been. We were roped into paying $1,000 for training on a system that has more bugs than a motel 6. Every time we have an issue they say it is a bug. So, here we pay monthly at full price plus the cost of training for a crappy system that is full of bugs and only works half the time. I could go on and on, but quite frankly I have spent so much time with customer support I am over this system. There is way too much bad then good. Stay away.

I have been a long time real green user at my first company Lawn Doctor before selling it and starting my new software company lawnbot.. If you run a lawn care company, this software will help grow your business. The new ceo Bill Nunan has been making changes at warp speed to improve the stability of their new SA5 product and literally make it best in class. His new vision includes working with 3rd party applications like lawnbot that allow you to sell your services through your website and online channels and it is fully integrated into service assistant! Real Green used to try to build everything themselves and this new focused vision and resource allocation is already paying huge dividends for real green users. Excited to see the roadmap unfold and the new changes to be implemented. Cheers Real Green Team.

Old. Dated. Yesterday. Bad customer service. They do realize its 2015 right? Real green is out of date and obviously out of touch with the reality of the technology available in 2015! Why use a real green system from 1994?!?! I highly recommend using Sales Force or another CRM system with FREE updates and supportive add on routing applications.

My company did a ton of research into a software that would be a good fit for my landscaping company. Real Green was one of the top candidates on our list. However, we selected another vendor earlier this week. Real Green didn't do anything wrong and reached out multiple times in an attempted sale; I simply chose another company. Real Green was polite during this process. However, I was called this morning and I informed their employee that I had decided to go another direction. Their employee, Matt, asked me why I lied to them when I told them I would make a decision in the fall. I told him I had made a decision this week and he continued to berate me about not going with him and continued asking me why I lied to him. I did not lie about anything, I resumed research this week and made a decision this week(it is fall). I told him that his behavior definitely made me feel good about going to his competitor and that I would never reach out to Real Green again. I had only good feelings about Real Green until Matt threw his temper tantrum. Unfortunately, his behavior just cost Real Green any chance of any future business with me and fortunately for me, the reviews written about rude employees were legitimized before I signed up.

Was looking to reorder custom printing materials for a marketing campaign. I received an estimate from a gentleman for 10,000 door hangers.

I called to ask some questions about the estimate and I felt like they didn't want to be bothered by our business. I asked specific questions and he gave vague answers. He even recommended a competitor when asking about budgetary concerns.

Not easy people to work with if you're a "smaller" client. You're not worth their time I guess.

I have been using this system for a year now. Very difficult to learn and function and constantly breaks. The latest email from them was "oops our credit card processing went haywire and we might have accidentally charged your customers multiple times" and their fix for this was have me go search through every transaction to see if it was made during the time their system was broke. This is just one of the many many issues w this system.

I worked for a company for over 12 years that used Real Green. Their system was extremely user friendly. Any issues I came upon they were always extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend this program and company for anyone looking for this type of service. Thank you Real Green for being such a joy to work with.

System is overcomplicated. It is versatile but a side effect of that is it is not user friendly. It would take years to learn its full functionality and to train staff would be a nightmare. Also if you try to cancel they give you the run around. The current excuse they re giving me is that only a certain person can cancel my account and they aren t available for another month. So they said they would stop charges until I got in touch with him but they failed to do that as well. Going to have to cancel my bank accounts now. Oh and it s very expensive. There are better and more affordable options out there.

We have been using this software for over 9 years, and it's nothing but trouble. we waited 3 years to move to SA5 because I was so concerned with the glitches in the current system. We were advised that RG would no longer support SA4, and we were forced to move to SA5 and were excited after watching all the training videos. OMG SA5 is the worst ever. its costing us so much time and money to figure this out. I'm schedule to attend their conference in January, and I'm already looking into a new software. I cannot afford the time it's costing us to help Real Green figure out their problems. every single time my office calls for help we hear the same thing....Oh that's a glitch...or oh we have it on the list to fix and hopefully it will be in the next release 4-6 weeks. REALLY you have had SA5 up for 3 years! This has been the worst experience and I can't wait to see these guys face to face in Nashville!

Getting the kinks out of our new program. RealGreen services are very good but Bob McCloskey is the very best. He should be their model.
Jacob is wonderful. Very patient, which is what I base my approval on.
I am an older user and not as proficient as the younger crowd. They always have time for me to absorb what they are teaching me.

Lawn Managers has been using Real green for 30 years and have been very satisfied with their service and personal. Peter Brown goes far beyond what is considered good service. He has helped us with all types of software issues as well as legal issues. I can only commend the company for having such a professional individual on their staff and can't give enough thanks to him for going above and beyond the norm of personalized service. The conferences they provide are very informative, and they provide classes to better help you understand their program. Very easy program to use and we plan to be a customer of Real Green for as long as it is available!

I have been using Real Green Software since the late 90's. As the industry and technology changed, Real Green has managed to stay ahead of the curve. They continue to provide outstanding service and the tools necessary to grow business. I have gotten to know a lot of Real Green employees over the years and they are a class act.

Just finished getting our spring letter off. What a nightmare! Sight going down, Complex letter wizard with too many bugs. On the up side we saved money on postage. The software has a convenient way to email the spring letter and saves a copy of every letter you send tied to the customers file.

Very complex and powerful software. Requires you to buy all printed material from them. Very expensive! The conversion process is a nightmare! Almost completely has to be done manually. You'd think people who work with databases would know how to transfer data. Once you are in it's almost impossible to get out. Avoid this program!

"It's just one of those Real Green Things." Get used to hearing this phrase bc that's what their tech support says if you have an issue with their software and they unable to resolve the problem... After you have waited 4 hours on tech support. I have to imagine that they have been trained to say that since a lot of their staff says that.

I have been with real green for over 12+ years. When their service works, it works 80-90% at best. There are more issues with this software than any other software i have ever dealt with. We pay top dollar for "The best" (lol) lawn care software in the world.

MEA
We pay over $3,000 per year for measurment assistant. Just yesterday I was told by one of the techs that if there is a "new construction home", you have to play detective and find the home using landmarks in order to measure the lawn properly. Basically the map puts you in a random spot in the middle of the city and you have to literally look for landmarks to be able to find the property and measure the lawn. Oh yeah, I even entered the latitude and longitude in my database in order to find the home... But nope, the software does not communicate that way. How am I supposed to do their "one step sales" that they promote when I need to spend 15 minutes or more looking for a property. Last year we measured all the properties in our data base with MEA. We went back through the images and noticed many measurments image we captured through the software was stretched. The head of the sales department said it seemed like user error... But guess what, it wasn't, it was a software issue. Their support team was able to recreate the issue. I expect more out of a $3000 measurement tool.

Don't spend the money.... It's only 90% done. We use SA4.

Mobile live
It's great when it works... But oh yeah, it doesn't. Just give them a call and ask them how the inventory feature that is on the software works? We pay over $1,000 per month for real green and when we asked about why the inventory isn't working properly... They said, "oh yeah, that doesn't really work". GREAT! Oh and don't try to take an image with MEA and try to save it to your database, the image will look distorted. Mobile live usually crashes every month or so for anywhere from 15mins to 4 hrs. Don`t worry though, they will send you an email letting you know it's not working.

AMA
This is the only department that is moving in the right direction... But their SYNC never runs properly. YOUR CUSTOMERS WANT SOFTWARE THAT SYNCS INSTANTANEOUS, NOT WHERE WE HAVE TO WAIT 2-3 HOURS. We have has issues in the past where the company sent out the wrong renewal emails to all of our 1500 clients... TWICE. .. And we are not the only company this has happened to.

Printing
One season they put the wrong price of the bottom of 20,000 direct mailers... I was told by the the greal green employees "this could be good, the confusion could get people to call"... WHAT? ARE YOU JOKING?

SOLUTIONS CONFRENCE
Just the past year we went to their conference last January to Nashville. We were told they had a waterpark at the hotel... Yep you guessed it... The water park was closed. People brought their families there so they could spend the day at the water park (while the RG attendee was in class) and the evening together. Could you image spending thousands of dollars to take your kids to an awesome waterpark... Only to have it closed. How does this happen?

Realgreen Payment Processing
Just recently I found out that our deposits have been into the wrong companies bank to the time of $10,700. That means it was a $21,400 mistake! To be fair, I do own both companies (different % ownership in each company) ... This error has caused isses in our cash flow and projections for both companies. Their quick fix was "Just write yourself a check". Um, no. FIX IT! What about thr hours of work we need to do to correct our budget? They told me that they didn't realize we had 2 different merchant accounts when they switched us over. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!

We have always experienced what they call "bugs" in their systems, but this is a different level. We have left 2 service calls around a month ago and have only received one response after I contacted a representative directly with their email. She responded that my issue was already resolved over email. I did not receive any email- nothing in my spam or junk folders, nor my inbox. It's been quite a few days since the last service call was submitted - so 2 unresolved calls.

We've had issues with running reports, invoices, etc.

This is what it's looking like right now -
When applying payments to accounts, it shows that they either DON'T have a balance, or have a balance that is only a FRACTION of what they truly owe. When looking in the History tab, it shows that there are multiple different "automatic adjustments" that were not made by any of the employees. For example, a customer currently owes $250.00, in their account, it shows that they only owe $46.
When looking in history for said customer, it shows that there were 5 different dates that credits were given to this customer. Customer made full payment in January, and in total, the 5 "credits" given, covered the entire payment they had made and covering payments for services they actually owe for.

This isn't just one customer either, we've had a few within the past week that we have noticed. So now we have to go through every individual customer to make sure everything is entered properly.

THEY ARE GIVING FREE SERVICES TO CUSTOMERS AUTOMATICALLY.

This is not okay, it harms businesses everywhere. The cost is astronomical compared to the "service" that they provide.

Go with literally anyone else. Do not waste your time or money on this "satisfactory program"

Maybe this will get your attention Real Green... If I could give 0 stars I would! We have been long term (over 10 years) customers as we own a small lawn care company. The software we have been using and loving (LA3) is no longer being supported. We have been FORCED into a cloud based system that is TERRIBLE at best. We've had nothing but issues since switching. Every other day I'm getting emails saying they are aware of people having issues and they're "working on it". It takes forever for anyone to return your call and they don't even call the number given to them. There's no customer service. Yesterday I put in a call because of my frustration. I left my cell phone so there would be no chance of missing their return call. I got a message in my voicemail at our other business number saying I could call back or email them. The only thing this company is interested in is sending their employees to "conferences" with no one left to help customers. We will be looking for other software options. Wake up Joe Cusick, your company has turned into a joke! BTW, this is Carol Smith with Smith's Lawn Services.

Have been working with Real Green systems since I started this job in the lawn care industry about 4 years ago and love it! It can take some time to learn, but it is complex and has many options and can do just about anything you'd need.

We have been working with this for about 9 months, and are honestly not very happy with the system at this point. It was supposed to make everything quicker and easier, and this is simply not always the case. Frankly, it seems a little redundant having to push multiple buttons to do a simple task. It is just not user friendly as what we had hoped it would be...and what we were told. It is quite expensive, and honestly, we don't feel like we are getting our money's worth at the moment. It should not take 30 minutes to send a few emails! It really seems like this is a system with mid-90s technology that has just been added to and added to until it is difficult to use. Futhermore, you have to pay for everything. In quickbooks, you pay one lump fee and get multiple users and its online and can be accessed anywhere from any device, but in RealGreen you have it on one computer, unless you pay for each individual user on one computer. ARE WE MISSING SOMETHING?

I can't imagine doing lawn care without this service. I've been using it for 20 years, it has improved and grown as we have every year. With the help of Real Grewn Systems we have never had a year since 1999 that we haven't grown.

They always make sure if I have any questions, that they get back to me as soon as possible with an answer. I'm glad they are our Software Company. WORST SYSTEM EVER! I have been using Real Green for 6 months and it's been nothing but a headache. They claim it will make doing business easier and that is a huge lie. The customer service is not consistent. Every time I call in, I'm told a different way to do something. My employees in the field do not like the mobile device technology either. They are wasting time on lawns entering information when they could be moving onto the next lawn. It is not user friendly and the training/help videos are written by someone who has no idea about adult learning. My time with Real Green has put a huge stress on me and my business. I wish I would've read the reviews before I bought it. I wish I could give it zero stars.

I think Realgreen is missing the point some other reviewers are trying to make and I'm surprised that some of the Realgreen responses seem argumentative. The issues we are all having with SA5 are costing us valuable time and money with very slow speeds, downtime, not to mention frustrating our employees to the point that they do not want to use it. I've spent almost every day since the switch to SA5 dealing with the website taking forever to load, customers not loading for 30 seconds or more, maps not loading, waiting up to 5 minutes for the invoices to load so I can print them (if they ever load), error messages, frustrating conversation with Realgreen techs, and finding information (some financial) that did not transfer properly. I'm afraid of what was lost at this point.

I also feel like we are being treated like we are the problem when we have to call for Tech support. I get "No one else is having this issue" or "First I've heard of it" daily. I was even told to "Call my sales rep if you have a problem with the program". Then I get a blanket email stating that there is a problem. Some tech support is down right rude (and I don't tolerate rudeness from vendors). I'm sure the tech support staff is being hammered with upset customers, but being rude to people who are frustrated with your software just makes matters worse. One person who I have great respect for at Realgreen is Dan Wellbaum. I know I can always contact him when I have an issue I cannot get anyone else to deal with.

We are also using Mobile Live. We hosted Mobile Live because hosting through Realgreen was so unreliable. I was extremely concerned about switching back to any hosting through Realgreen. Our Mobile Live has started to have issues again and today it went down. Speaking of Mobile Live, I was told to upgrade our tablets to Samsung Tab As. So I did. Six months later I'm being told Tab As are not longer supported. So I had to go back and start buying new devices so Mobile Live would function properly. Money down the drain.

We've been a customer for over 10 years. We use SA5, the CAW, Mobile Live, AMA, credit card processing, use you guys for posting signs, invoices, door hanger bags, envelopes, and I'm sure I'm missing some other stuff. We have invested a lot in Realgreen and have trusted Realgreen over the years. I am quickly losing my trust in your company.

Before you spend $1 with this company, be sure you know what you're getting into.
1. Their online version (SA5) does not work for a pest control company.
2. They no longer support their 'working' version SA4, but the current version doesn't work well. I have had to manage our data on a local server because their cloud based server is slow as molasses.
3. They FORCE you to use their INTERNAL credit card processing at a much higher rate. The fees are more than Square charges. SMH
4. You will be paying more than $1000 a month for the system if you want your customers to pay their bill or manage their account online.
5. If you use their Mobile Live app, it's an additional $35 fee per truck. Every time they announce an update, count on the app to continually crash on multiple devices, multiple times a day. We have 10+ paid subscriptions so when the system is down, I get 10 texts letting me know they can't complete their work properly because the system won't let them complete services. I'll go back to paper if this continues. Oh, and paper tickets, yup, have to buy all printed supplies from Real Green as well.

It just money, money, money. They nickel and dime their clients to death.

Yes, I am still a customer only because their software is fairly complicated which makes for a very painful conversion I'm not yet ready to make.

Great system for managing our customers experience with us. With any software there are bugs but they do a great job servicing our system and giving updates to correct known problems. Unlike many software companies, they actually look at and implement feature requests if they are doable. We love Realgreen Service Assistant

I guess they have too much business and they dont want more. If this is the way they treat potentual customers im a afraid to become a customer. Dont even try to do business with this company. Real Green is a must have if you are in the Lawncare industry. In my 30 years as Lawncare professional, I have worked for 6 different companies. The ultra successful ones us Real Green. They are always innovating new way to streamline processes and improve your performance as a company.
