One of Houston's true gems. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is perfect and the wait staff couldn't be friendlier and more professional. This place is perfect to make long lasting memories.

Lovely brunch here, we made last minute reservations on Sunday morning. This place was oddly empty. We had the whole patio to ourselves for half an hour. The patio overlooks a small stream and green area, very pretty. We tried the lodge potatoes with avocado pico de Gallo and smoked salmon, the short rib sandwich with egg added, and the brioche french toast. The menu offers standard southern/gulf coast brunch fare. There was also a pastry basket of cinnamon rolls and some kind of pumpkin bread that came before the meal with preserves. So good! Will definitely keep this one on my list. Valet parking only.

Great place in the North of Houston. Not your typical dark Texan steakhouse. Crab cake as appetizer and lobster risotto as Entree are two of my favorites here. Try the bread pudding for dessert - highly recommended. Atmosphere and service make for a great dinner night.

Had an amazing V-day dinner here! Service was very quick, kind, and attentive. Chose the chef tasting special of 6 small courses and it was an amazing and tasty experience. The food is perfectly cooked and included a wide array of dishes I would not normally get to experience on a day-to-day basis. The interior of the restaurant is a beautiful old log cabin that is very tastefully decorated along with a beautifully landscaped garden area. The parking was complimentary valet (though please tip the valet for their work!) Would highly recommend the Rainbow Lodge for anyone looking for a fine dining experience.

My husband is a major carnivore. Fogo was the fist churrascarria that we ever ate at. Every time a new one opens up we check it out but we keep coming back to Fogo! The salad bar is outstanding and is better than all the competitors out there. The servers are all pros and don't stop moving constantly bring new...

Mark was a great server. Beautiful and romantic place. The food was just medicore compared to the price. Had the trout and it lacked flavor. It was just a grilled fish with peacans thrown at it. Had better food elsewhere for less the price.

Amazing delicious food. The service & kitchen we're great even though we arrived late for "lunch". The Buffalo chili was a good starter and would be great on a cold day. I will definitely return to try more of the chefs quisine. Cozy bar and good patio area for good weather.

Place was beautiful but the food was mediocre at best. My steak was dry as a bone I needed water to be able to swallow it. Another plate we got the meat was so hard it would barely cut. So if you go, go for lunch for something small it's worth the views but not the food....

Yum - good and much food and cheap prices. Very good. Only looking for a parking spot can last. It's worth it though.

My all time favorite place to eat. Cozy atmosphere and attentive waiters. JoJo was our waitress the last time we went. Drinks and food are always excellent. This is my go to place for a delicious dinner that will not disappoint. I've ordered duck, sea bass, and the mixed game grill in my last few visits here. The appetizers of scallops and gumbo are also on point. Will probably make a couple more trips here before the holidays Love this place

Amazing food, back patio is awesome when the weather is nice, and they always have a great happy hour. Major plus--The champagne list is on point and the Perrier Jouet is very affordable

Such a disappointment. I wanted to surprise my husband for his birthday and we were put in front of the "fires of hell" window. We definitely skipped the after dinner coffee. The shrimp was over cooked and chewy. I asked for a birthday "surprise" dessert on the reservations but was asked at the end of the meal if we would be wanting dessert. Houston has more appealing choices.

The petite filet mignon, bison, was excellent. Cooked perfectly medium rare and tender enough to use just a fork to cut. The lobster tail was the same, tender and fresh. The food is high quality, our server Bryan was the perfect host. The cost, well it's expensive but was worth it.

WOW!! Jet came up to Alicia and me and told us "this was the best place I have ever eaten at.". From the valet parking, to the crab cakes to the grilled lamb ribeye to the desert. Every thing was fantastic. The waiter was excellent. Everyone had a marvelous time.

I went here with my girlfriend on a spontaneous romantic date. And while the prices were a bit steep for me to make regular trips, everything about this restaurant was top notch with very friendly and knowledgeable service as well as delicious high class dishes.

I brought my wife for lunch and we had a fantastic experience. Walking in, the decor has the feel of a beautiful cabin in the mountains. Our server, Mark Anthony, was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was divine. I had the nilgai steak medium rare and my wife had the fried venison. All of it was cooked to perfection. We had bread pudding and a chocolate mousse tart for dessert.

My family and I always go when we're in Houston visiting. Food is exquisite, wine is fantastic. Brittany is our favorite server, she really knows her stuff and always has a beautiful smile on her face. Ask for her!

Fried Texas quail bites to start, gruyere grits, with fried quail topped with a bacon marmalade gravy. 16 oz. Cowboy ribeye cooked rare to finish with sauteed garlic kale and grilled asparagus. Cocktails include Hemingway's Daiquiri and a barrel aged Manhattan. Dessert to include their famous ever cherished bread pudding accompanied by "The Nudge" kalua, brandy, and amaretto with house made whipped cream. Service was fast, attentive, and top notch. Server, Jacek, was exceptionally knowledgable and quick. Atmosphere business casual, looking more towards dressed. Would reccomend this for a date night!

My wife and I went to Rainbow lodge with friends for Houston Reaturant weeks. It was great as always. I started with the fried green tomatoes stacker. It was good the tomatoes were cut about 3/4" thick and fried well. My wife started with the duck gumbo which was outstanding as always. Her main course was the coffee rubbed venison. I didn't order the vinison because I was afraid the coffee flavor would be too strong, however it was amazing I could not taste the coffee at all. It came with a side of mashed sweet potatoes that were outstanding as well. She ordered it medium and it came aou more what I would call medium rare. So adjust your order accordingly. I had the redfish with corn and field pea sucotash. The fish was good but the sucotash was the star. Just slightly sweet I could have eaten it all night. My wife had the bread pudding for desert and it was great as always. The icecream comes on the side in a tweedle bowl that gives a great brulee taste to the dish. Among our table we ordered all the deserts and the bread pudding was at least 2X the size of any other option, and I would not have called any of then small. I had the chochlate and peach mousse. We were not sure about the flavor combination. But it turned out great if you are a dark chochlate fan (which I am). It also had two sauces on the side which I dont know what were but they tasted great. One was peachish the other was key limeish and had what I thought were toasted hops which should be used in more dishes. Our friend also ordered the icebox pie which came with a blueberry compote that was great.

My first time here with my girlfriend and we walked in thinking this was a very cool place. Them having a large bourbon collection and I am a bourbon collector and I m seeing bourbons I normally don t see I was digging the place but the bartender had an attitude and we just thought she was having a bad day which we can understand. Just out of curiosity I was asking prices for bourbons and she asked if I was a spy! I said no, I just like bourbon and you have brands I normally don t see at bars. So after ONE DRINK the curly haired female bartender cut me off. Very embarrassing and my first time at this dive bar will be my last time here. Sorry to be so inquisitive about bourbons I love that I never see at bars. So if you like being judged at a dive bar/restaurant then this is the place to go

This place is pretty but needs a good cleaning and update. We were going to have our wedding and reception here but when we went to ckeck it out there was dust and cob webs all over. The outside wasn't too great either.

My girlfriend and I went there this past Saturday, it was one of the best restaurants I ve ever been too, the antelope entree was one of the best things I have ever ate. And the appetizer we had was called taste of the wild , it was excellent, our server knew the menu and was very informative and full of energy, we will definitely be going back

First time here, great food. The brunch selection was a cross between game meat and tradition breakfast. The setting was nice and quiet, with easy valet parking (lifted trucks wont fit). Cost are higher than a normal place with the total being 83 dollars for two people, one appetizer, and two extra sides on the meal. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I'll be back to see how dinner is.

Been there for a private dinner and a company event. Staff and food was amazing. The detail in every flavor of every dish makes the moderately high cost worth it. Dress in business casual maybe with a jacket
