Had a blast. Great place for the kids. Tree Skiing was great. Not that difficult so the kids gain great confidence Skiing trees here. They can't wait to go back. Awesome place when they get fresh snow!! Hide in the the woods if there are big crowds!

An excellent mountain for skiers with a great variety of beginner, intermediate, advanced, and glade trails. Awesome grooming; they also groom one of the trails again at 3:30 pm and reopen it at 4 pm for night skiing. The lodge has 4 floors so you can always find a spot. It seems family friendly as we always see lots of kids here. However, trails never feel crowded, especially once they are all open. The new gondola that just opened this year helps with the lift traffic too so you spend less time waiting in lines. Try the waffle cabin for a quick warm up or eat a meal inside - there is both a cafeteria style place on the main floor and a sit-down restaurant with waitstaff on the second floor. There are also two bars in the lodge for some apre ski. Come early to find an easy parking; otherwise, prepare to drive around for a few minutes looking for a free spot. Ticket prices vary depending on day of the week, and how much time you want to ski. Full day of skiing on the weekend will cost you upward of $100, so if you are going to ski more than 10 times in a season, it's worth it to get a season pass. My only complain is how the wait lines at lifts are managed - some days the lines move smoothly and some days it seems the person in charge of the lines does not know how to do it well. But overall always a great experience!

Not much was open when I was there, but the place is very large by east coast standards. The lifts are fairly nice, there is snowmaking all over, and the terrain and glades are good. -1 star for having lighting only on 2 trails; DO NOT go at night.

The mountain had good trails, but the hotel is the real gem. This historic hotel is one of the nicest I've ever been to. Their restaurants are delicious and the fireplace in the room was amazing. I'll definitely be going back again!

We went here over the summer for their zip line course. They have two, the canopy tour and the 3 zips for $30. We did the 3 zips for $30 and it wasn't exactly what we were expecting, as it was a straight shot down over the ski trail that lasted about 9 seconds. I would recommend doing the canopy tour instead.

Great slopes, fast lifts, fun glades skiing. Trails are on the easier side. Food and drinks are very affordable, even at the restaurant up the mountain! Which, by the way, has a beautiful view of Mount Washington. The whole mountain does! Will definitely return for more trips next time it snows. Worth the day trip from Boston as it's a beautiful drive.

Place was super busy, had to bug a few workers for help finding their tubing spot (which is across the street at the omni) but the outside fireplace was awesome, the employees we talk to were super helpful. Everyone was upbeat and eager to please. VERY welcoming!!

Beautiful place. Went for the fireworks. The band knew a lot of songs. Just because you know the words, doesn't mean you should sing them. Some were played in a different key than the originals. The woman's voice was piercing over the microphone. The man's voice was pleasant enough most of the time.
Fireworks were very nice.

First time there, conditions were pretty good considering the warm weather and being early in the year. The new gondola (at least I was told is was new) really moves the line quickly. Unfortunately they were having some issues with it part way through the day and shut it down for repairs. Would definitely like to go back with some more of the mountain opened up.

This place is awesome! Very child and family friendly. I had never snowboarded before but had a background in skateboarding and skim boarding so I wanted to try out snowboarding. I took the beginners group lesson they were teaching during the Holiday week they had in December 2019. It came with a discount card which had many discounts for food, lessons, lift tickets, rentals, and just about anything at Bretton Woods, which I used a bunch the week I was there and will probably use again before the season is over since it expires in April 2020. The snowboarding instructor was awesome! Small group around 8 people; although the mountain was very crowded due to a vacation week. The instructor was an older gentlemen in his 70's. I really wish I could remember his name to put to this post but I cannot remember his name unfortunately. He was a great instructor and taught me everything I needed to know. He even took me aside out of the group and gave me extra pointers because he saw I was advancing a little faster than others. While he was helping others, I was able to work on his pointers and by the time he came back to me to see how I was doing, he said I was ready for the mountain. Sure enough after a few bunny slope runs, I went up Zypher (may have spelt wrong) and took a long trail down the mountain and completed my first run ever! I was so glad I picked it up so quickly with the help of the instructors pointers, I went out and bought my own set up and ripped down the mountain a few other times during the week before leaving for home. I also went night boarding which was an experience on its own. It was a pasta night so you get a lift ticket from 4pm-8pm and a pasta dinner (penne or spaghetti with red or white sausage, chicken or sausage or meatball, and rye or garlic bread) afterwards for $29. That was a cool package they offered and was a well needed dinner after a few hours of shredding! I am so glad I went to Bretton Woods for my beginners lesson and was very happy with the instructor I had and would highly recommend anyone trying to learn or get in the sport of Skiing or Snowboarding to give Bretton Woods a try. Oh and the views going down the mountain are absolutely amazing. Such a site to see while shredding it! They also have MANY trails to choose from for any experience riders. Will definitely be back to shred Bretton Woods again!

Great ski resort. From the drop off point with a covered fireplace with benches to keep you warm, helpful employees to guide you to where you need to go and give advice on best ski trails for your level, well groomed wide trails, and AMAZING views. kids will want to go to Chutters candy store at top of the mountain. On a Sunday afternoon with great ski conditions there were no lift lines making this a perfect time for locals to get out on these beautiful slopes and at a real bargain with Bretton Woods special price for residents of surrounding counties.

Great place to go with the family all year round. In the winter there is obviously skiing, but in the summer you can rent scooter bikes, take the chair lift up, and ride down. There's a rock climbing wall, zip lines, and all kinds of other stuff. This is a great area to go to all year round.

The hills were great and the lines were short. I did pay $12 for 4 chicken tenders and a water though. Also the new lift was not functioning normally and me and my friend had to walk back to the main part of the mountain

Absolutely loved Bretton Woods!! They weren't kidding when they said the "Best Grooming in the East"! Great trails- tons of white fluffy powder when we skied. Even skiied "glades" for the first time - so much fun!!

We had a cross country ski lesson at Bretton Woods earlier this week. It was a little difficult to find the Nordic Center, the signage could be better, but the staff at the Base Lodge was very helpful in getting us to the right place! The staff at the Nordic Center were great as well, so nice and helped us out getting our rental equipment squared away prior to our lesson time. Our instructor, Gillian, was excellent as well! She explained everything clearly and thoroughly and then took us out on a perfect beginner's trail. In addition she made some great recommendations for other trails for more xc-skiing or snowshoeing. We had a wonderful time and would happily return for more outdoor adventures!

I went to Bretton woods for their powder and pasta event. The trails were perfect and the pasta was delicious. I had alfredo and my fiance had meatballs! It was also new years eve and we got to sit on the chair lift and watch the fireworks and my now fiance proposed! So wonderful that the staff helped him set this up!
