Rude snobs. Pizza was fine when we finally got it. Sat there while the people who came in after us were served, had their leftovers packaged up, and ordered dessert before we got our pizzas. Someone even came and offered a dessert menu before we got our food. Overpriced and pretentious.

Great pizza, great service. One of the oven guys had a cool beemo (from adventure time) tattoo. We had had a large party and we were seated promptly, and our waiter was great. Try the Fungi pie. To die for.

They have this weird thing where you call their number and a recorded message gives you another number to call, then you call that number and it tells your to call the first one. If there was a third number you could call that would be better.

Disappointing. I was in town from the east coast and hopeful that this restaurant with good reviews would make a decent pizza; that isn t the case. After ordering online and received an expected pick up time of 6:47, however the pizza was not ready at that time (10 min late for which I had to wait outside) and the box didn t seem hot enough for a pizza fresh out of the oven. After a 12 min ride back to the house I opened it to discover a cold pizza which was t visually appealing. With respect to taste this was certainly nothing close to pizza vera Napolitana. The dough was not well risen and was very thin, the cheese was of only moderate flavor and the few pieces of basil did nothing. Even worse, it wasn t well cooked and still tasted doughy and grainy.

In conclusion, this was the most disappointing wood-fired pizza I ve had anywhere in the world. This place has the appearance of a legit pizzaria, but looking the part isn t a substitute for bad food.

My favorite pizza place in the state. I used to live in Napoli and this is as close as it gets to that in Colorado.

They do everything right at this location from curing the dough, using the right type of flour, authentic ingredients, and a real pizza oven. Also, the budino is amazing.

I do wish they would change the name of the other Chipotle style locations because they aren't even in the same universe in terms of quality or experience.

The pizza here is absolutely fantastic. I can't recommend the food enough. However, tonight, I was eating with friends and we had been at the table for an hour. The restaurant wasn't anywhere near closing, there were open tables, and there was no one waiting. Not one person. Still, the manager came over and VERY LOUDLY told us to get out. It was incredibly rude, and I probably won't be back. It's a shame.

I am a flight attendant on a private jet out of Broomfield. My client requested 8 pizzas from this place. I called at 10:30 am and left a message for those pizzas to be ready at their opening time of 11:30 am and requested a call back to confirm. Did not hear back. Called again at 11:30 to confirm that the order would be ready. No answer. Finally got a call back at 12 noon to confirm the order. I was walking thru the door 1 1/2 hrs later at that point. They did not seem to care that I had placed the order earlier. Had to place the order AGAIN with the host and had to wait for the pizzas to be made. I sat at the bar waiting for 20 mins and was not offered any water or anything else to drink. Opened the pizzas during the flight to feed my passengers and they were not even sliced. My passengers was were not happy about that. Furthermore, their pizzas is pretty much thin crust with a very light smear of what they call sauce. The topping was just slopped on here and there and did not cover entire pizza. Some slices had nothing on them. Really! Guess that is Boulder for you. Hope you either improve your service or go out of business. Sorry to be so straight forward. BTW, thanks to this fiasco, I was barely in time for my flight. The passengers were compliant with your mistake, but was disappointed with the pizza outcome. $130.00+ that I spent was a waste. Thanks!

They re a bit pricey for pizza, but you get what you pay for. My favorite kind of pizza is a Margherita and they do it so well! We ve recently moved to Boulder, and will be frequenting Pizzeria Locale.

Dined here for Christmas Eve dinner. What a scam. Extremely small size portions and way over priced. Sub-par taste. My companion is in upper management with Cameron Mitchell Restaurant group and was blown away with what we saw and experienced. First and foremost, We sat at the pizza bar, where we observed the pizza makers EATING while they made our food. They had a cart in FULL VIEW of their all their plates piled with the food they were "noshing" on, while making the food in the oven!!!!
THEY EAT WHILE MAKING YOUR FOOD!!!!

Health code violation????? Ya think??? One word GROSS!

The owner is making bank on unsophisticated and indiscriminate diners!!

Come on Boulder....Really???

I was born and raised in Italy. And I visited Naples really many times. The pizza they serve is good and also the other food you find in the menu. It really made me think of some places in Naples or around Naples where I had some very nice dinners.
The down side is their prices. Prices are too high and the pizza size is really too small and also other kinds of food they offer, are pricy and the quantity is small. It would be really a 5 star place if they were able not only to reproduce Italian flavors, but also Italian sizes.

Great Napolitano style pizza. They have a good wine selection as well. I highly recommend the Maise (sp?) It is the pizza with corn on it. The diavola is also very good and has a little spice to it.

My wife and I ordered pizza for take out. We also ordered the crostini Piselli. When she arrived home with the food we found both to almost inedible. The crostini were burnt black and hard as a thin bread-based rock. The pizza had what would have been delicious topping, except the crust was overly thick and also burnt black. I know everyone has a bad day, but this food shouldn't have been allowed to be served.

A place created by hipsters for hipsters, let them keep it. Decent food, way over the top in every other way. Nothing like sitting down and waiting over an hour to get a pizza brought to your table. Wait staff almost completely ignores you. But they serve your water in a wine bottle so THAT makes everything great. Too much good food in Boulder to waste your time here.

I absolutely love this place! They've taken the wood-fired oven pizza and made it a beautiful, semi-gourmet work of art. My wife and I always went during happy hour from 4:30-5:30 every day, when they have screaming good deals on simple pizzas, Peroni, and house wine. My pizza recommendation: a margarita pizza with prosciutto crudo. Note the "crudo!" They cook your pizza and then add very thinly-sliced prosciutto ham, and it sort of melts on to the pizza from the residual oven heat. Ask for a little of their house-made chile oil to drizzle on top, and enjoy.

I had high hopes for this place, and maybe they were just off the time I went. Overall, it wasn't fantastic or terrible. It was simply pizza on Pearl St.

It seems as though the staff tend to overlook those who don't come in dressing super nice or those who don't drink alcohol. Just an observation.

I love pizzeria locale! They take COVID-19 precautions very seriously and have amazing procedures in place to ensure safety. They have delicious pizza with gluten free options. I love their salads. Yum! Braden, the manager, goes out of his More

The couple sitting next to us said that this was the best pizza they'd ever tasted and we agreed. The food was great and the atmosphere was better - the servers were attentive and upbeat, and we got to watch the chefs work their magic with the wood-fired stone oven while we ate. 7/5 would go again!

Solid Napoli style pizza--I usually ask to have it kept in the oven for a bit longer than their usual, as I like the crust crispy and carmelized. Great staff, always friendly. The sparkling water is to die for, and it's included with the meal. Happy hour is a great value too.

Good atmosphere, seating was somewhat limited, I'd recommend making a reservation here beforehand. Nice to see the pizza making process with fresh ingredients. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Would be nice to be able to customize your pizza easier and not get charged so much for changes made. More of an upscale pizza place so higher prices come with that. We didn't prefer the taste of our pizzas and probably wouldn't visit again.

Northern Italian Pizza and all the rest of it appetizers, salads and deserts. I feel the calzones are the best in Boulder. Love the food here. This is a popular and favorite place for locals. Sit at the counter, for watching the pizzas come out of the wood burning oven. Or sit at the bar facing the patio outside. Nice location for Pearl Street people watching too.

I didn't take any pictures of the pizza because I couldn't stop eating it. My partner enjoyed the margherita and I very much enjoyed/ devoured a whole Salsiccia e Prugna which was spicy sausage, pickled plum, red onion, basil, mozzarella, ricotta and pecorino. The wait staff was very friendly and checked on us enough and made sure the water bowl was fresh for our dog with ice cubes. I know I will be dreaming of this pizza and searching for a place like it when I am back in Chicago. I will say it seemed very affordable as well! Outdoor seating was nice to people watch on Pearl Street.

Really good appetizer. Sorry I didn't like the smoked pizza.Pizza are cooked in wood stove, but use wet wood that give a rather smoky taste. Waiter are really kind but the place is rather loud... Go there to your own risk. Good deserts. As a conclusion go there with friends and stick to appetizer and dessert.

Delightful hostess, excellent salads and pizza with the worst LOUD hip hop and dance club music for a nice restaurant i have endured in a long time. Won't be back or will check to ensure music fits the venue and is playing at normal volume before i commit to a meal.
