If you are a poor man's wine connoisseur some of you might have read "Reflections of a Wine Merchant" by Neal Rosenthal. Well here is Neil's store.
I flew to NYC and this is one of the stops I picked. We were helped by William and what a pleasure it was to hear not only about wine but about wine experience. Tucked away up on the Upper East side of Manhattan this is a must go to if you love wine.

I lifelong New Yorker I've never experienced a wine emporium like this one. Unique. Stocked only with the produce of very small vineyards in France, Italy and the west coast of the USA. Will, the proprietor, is an encyclopedia about wine and laws from the Prohibition era. Their web site and blog is at yet another level of knowledge and sophistication. The space itself is just beautiful.
