Very nice. Quickly fixed key card issue with no issue.
Rooms are comfortable and clean, just needs a refresh. Feels very old
Brilliant Assistant Manager, clean, wonderful environment, tasty meals, friendly stuff members.
Decent downtown tower hotel. Room was clean and recently renovated. Hot water takes a really long time so be prepared to wait if you want a warm shower. Parking is covered which is why I chose this hotel.
Attended a full day conference. Conference facilities were adequate, staff was quite good and lunch was a pleasant surprise (Ukrainian style food including perogies, cabbage rolls etc.). Not great food, but a welcome change from usual conference food. Parking was available on site in attached parkade but was rather inconvenient, dirty and rather expensive. Would have given 5 stars if parking was free.
Great location downtown. Right next to MTS Centre. Amazing city views.
Room 1702, stayed one night, good service but pricey!
Cool spot; went to a few conferences here. Little outdated but overall a nice spot
We stayed in a suite on the Club Floor (29th floor). The room was modern, very clean and spacious. The whole suite was very quiet. The bed was comfortable with 5 different pillows for 2 of us so we had some options to find what we found most comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was a full hot meal made fresh to order in the restaurant, and it was very good! The staff were pleasant, professional and took interest in us. The check in/out process was quick and efficient.
Staff are very nice, hotel is comfortable and clean! Would definitely stay again!
The rooms are nice and clean, friendly staff. Always a quite, comfortable stay
Very nice place but there is A LOT I mean A LOT of transient people in that area A LOT of beggars so be careful
Awful reception, unclean room, unappetizing food. Definetely not worth a single penny, considering the price and reputation.
Only positive thing was, the room service lady that dealt with our food issue in a very polite manner and was very kind.
Attended a wedding at the Radisson downtown. Very beautiful room and great service.
We had booked this hotel with a short notice after cutting short our stay in Morden and staying in Winnipeg. Loved customer service and everyone at hotel was so helpful. If we ever get a chance to come back from Australia, we would definitely stay here . . . Just to refresh our golden memories
Queen room with comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom is good size and condition. There is a fair amount of traffic noise if you stay in a room above Portage St which we didn't like.
Wedding on the terrace - hotel staff were nice and food and drinks were very good.
Service was nice and fast, noticed this morning that our bed sheets are dirty and not from us. Parking isn't included it's $17 and breakfast isn't included either but they do have Starbucks in the hotel.
Our room is great! The bed is very comfortable, when we found the room too warm they replaced the unit in less than a half hour! The staff has been great
Located in heart of Winnipeg downtown. Nice and clean room. Outside city view is so nice. Friendly staff.
Great location right on Portage road close. There is a bus stop just 3 minutes from the hotel, restaurants and a shopping mall. But the area goes kind of dead post 6pm during winter and post 7pm in summer as this is primarily a business area. The hotel has spacious rooms and staff are helpful. There are no safes in the room. Beds are soft so bad for backs. Pillows are softer. Breakfast service is slow so if you are in a rush, order ahead.
A very nice hotel well looked after and the staff was very friendly. Food was ok, presentation was great.
Great spot to be, next door to Bell MTS Place. Steam room, gym resturaunt all within two floors. Clean rooms and great hospitality.
Great location, right next door to the jets hockey rink. Very nice rooms.
Was there for small corporate event. They had a very attentive staff who catered to what we needed.
The room was clean and offered good amenities like a coffee maker, hair dryer, king sized bed. The view from the 28th floor was amazing!
At the hotel for a wedding. Great service, quality good, and a large accomodating venue. Recommended.
Always a good experience at the Radisson. Rhonda takes very good care of our organization when booking with the hotel.
The hotel itself is nice with a great location right downtown. I was VERY disappointed with the staff who were quite grumpy and down right rude! Also it doesn't feel the safest with a lot of sketchy people all around outside as well as inside. They could use a security presence.
Clean room, professional staff, only issue so far I had is changing elevators to get from room to car.
No more than 3 stars .in the plus side it's a good location right in downtown area
It was alright. The air conditioner wall control was held together with tape that had come undone, so I had to sacrifice a hair tie to the air conditioning gods. The staff were super friendly. The water in the bath was orange, not sure if that's just a Winnipeg thing as it is my first time here. Was not horrible. Was not 5 stars. Was a decent place to crash. Oh, and the Internet was really slow.
Awful. They claim to be "pet-friendly", but what they don't tell you is that you'll pay an extra $30 to have your dog stay with you on the 27TH FLOOR of this ridiculous hotel in a tiny room. Getting our 8 month old baby and our husky/shepherd dog through the lobby and up and down two elevators was difficult enough, but trying to squeeze my husband and I plus a crib, a dog, and our bags in the VERY small room was more work than this place was worth. The "sleep number" beds left MUCH to be desired, and even on the 27th floor, the traffic noise from the street below was blaring all through the night. The room also smelled very stale and musty. The parkade is almost impossible to drive through if you drive anything larger than a 2-door hatchback AND they charged us $12 to park overnight even though the sign in their lobby reads $10 overnight MAXIMUM. The front desk staff was rude and dishonest when I confronted them about $47 in extra hidden charges on a room I had pre-paid for weeks in advance to get the lower rate (I ended up paying more than the regular rate, so figure THAT one out!). We also got dirty looks from staff when we ordered a pizza from a local business rather than ordering from The Radisson's restaurant where they charged double the price. They also don't even offer a cold continental breakfast for free unless you join their "club". I do NOT recommend anyone with pets stay at this hotel, nor do I recommend anyone, PERIOD, stay at this hotel. Very expensive, very very poor.
(For context, we payed over $200 for a room here, and only $130 for a room at The Best Western in Minot, ND which allowed pets for FREE on the MAIN LEVEL, with FREE HOT BREAKFAST, a POOL, and SPACIOUS, QUIET ROOMS.)
At The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, we've hosted a number of events at the Radisson which is just right across the street from our office in downtown. One of our favourite events is our Annual General Meeting in the West Terrace space. The West Terrace space offers one of the best views of downtown Winnipeg. Christine and Brittany are very lovely to work with and they make everything so easy. Highly recommend your event at their hotel!
Bonus - they have a Starbucks downstairs for those early morning event setups.
Went for dinner at the 12th floor. Had the buffet that did not have a lot of options but it was really good. Prime rib was delicious. Great customer service too. If you're going to a Jets game. You should definitely consider this place.
Good location, friendly staff and comfortable beds.
Right close to the arena. Perfect place to stay on game nights
Thank you for opening your doors to us for a well-deserved sleep at midnight and after two appalling hotel failures with almost serial killers as customers or homeless people who come into the hotel as at home and who refuse people from the Quebec or who want at all taken too much of us in their hotel, filled with suspicious man who talk to us with the drool flowing and look at us too much so hahaha well all its for finally a nice place or sleep
Centrally located hotel with great services and amenities. I recently attended a conference at the Radisson: staff were knowledgeable, professional and ready to help; the spaces looked well kept and current; and our conference space was perfect for our needs. The Radisson has conference spaces on higher floors, which added a sense of 'fanciness' for our group. The resident restaurant is also on a top floor - the view is quite nice and the food is good too!
Clean well managed hotel. The rooms are relatively quiet with heavy doors. However the doors are so heavy and installed in a way they slam shut on their own. No need for a wake up call because everyone is slamming doors that can be heard from one end of the halls to the other. The WiFi service, although upgraded....you would never know it. Very un reliable internet service for this day and age, especially on the weekends. The Starbucks in the lobby is a nice treat.
Good service and great food. Nice central location.
Quiet hotel, but in house restaurant is nothing special.
Good location, Nice modern and updated rooms. A good choice for a night downtown.
Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Great views of the city. Well kept hotel and great access to downtown!
I attended this hotel for a business conference. During on of our sessions, I was quite cold and one of the servers noticed. He came over and asked if I would like a blanket! I thought he was kidding but 5 minutes later he came in to the banquet hall with a blanket and told me he asked them to turn the heat up! Incredible customer service!!!!!!!
My boyfriend and I stayed with the Radisson just after Christmas. Our stay was wonderful and the front desk staff were very courteous. However, we forgot a pair of prescription glasses in our room. We called the hotel the day after we realized they were missing and left a message for the house keeping department to call us back.
After two weeks of my boyfriend calling, leaving messages, and not hearing back I personally called in. I managed to get a hold of the house keeping department and they assured me that they would mail the glasses out to me at my own expense.
Upon checking the mail a few days later, the glasses that they sent me were not ours. After calling back and leaving a couple more messages on separate occasions I once again reached another member of the house keeping department who told me that they would look again for the glasses and either mail them out if found or call back if not found.
It has now been a couple days since that initial exchange and I have not heard anything back from the Radisson either way. I called in again today and left yet another message.
I highly doubt I will ever hear back from the Radisson and have pretty much accepted the fact that we have to go out and buy new glasses. It is very poor customer service to never call the customer back and to not send out the correct personal item in the first place. It has been a very frustrating process that I feel could have been completely avoided in the first place.
The guest service people have always been very polite, but I have always been passed off to the house keeping department to leave messages that will never be responded to. I even tried reaching out to the Radisson corporately through their website, but have yet to receive a response.
Based on this whole ordeal it is safe to say that we will never be a patron of the Radisson Winnipeg ever again and will not be recommending them to friends, family or coworkers.
I loved the place. But I wanted to use the stairs besides the elevator needed more excercises
Attended a wedding. The hotel was nice and clean with friendly hardworking staff
The staff is very friendly and it is a very clean hotel.
Location is superb. Close to everything. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Excellent views of the city and walking distance to most of the places I wanted to see in the city. Bell MTS next door for Jets games.
Great place. Staff is very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was very good!! Starbucks in the lobby so no complaints there. Linens and bathroom was clean beds and pillows very comfortable. If you're looking for a quiet sleep make sure you or on the opposite side of the main drag. Internet very slow and difficult to work.
Awesome hotel, very nice staff and have had zero issues thus far. But I'll down a star because there's no hot tub, sauna or pool.
Thank you Radisson- Team for the nice time we had at your beautiful house!
Very nice hotel, excellent location especially for Jets games.
Looked like it hasn't been used in weeks. Caked with dust.
Worst bellman ever. Not saying all of them. Just the we were dealing with.
Good food and good venue. Great service bar was a bit pricy
Attended a function. The set up and food was wonderful. Nice views of downtown. No complaints. Would enjoy going back.
