My boyfriend and I stayed with the Radisson just after Christmas. Our stay was wonderful and the front desk staff were very courteous. However, we forgot a pair of prescription glasses in our room. We called the hotel the day after we realized they were missing and left a message for the house keeping department to call us back.

After two weeks of my boyfriend calling, leaving messages, and not hearing back I personally called in. I managed to get a hold of the house keeping department and they assured me that they would mail the glasses out to me at my own expense.

Upon checking the mail a few days later, the glasses that they sent me were not ours. After calling back and leaving a couple more messages on separate occasions I once again reached another member of the house keeping department who told me that they would look again for the glasses and either mail them out if found or call back if not found.

It has now been a couple days since that initial exchange and I have not heard anything back from the Radisson either way. I called in again today and left yet another message.

I highly doubt I will ever hear back from the Radisson and have pretty much accepted the fact that we have to go out and buy new glasses. It is very poor customer service to never call the customer back and to not send out the correct personal item in the first place. It has been a very frustrating process that I feel could have been completely avoided in the first place.

The guest service people have always been very polite, but I have always been passed off to the house keeping department to leave messages that will never be responded to. I even tried reaching out to the Radisson corporately through their website, but have yet to receive a response.

Based on this whole ordeal it is safe to say that we will never be a patron of the Radisson Winnipeg ever again and will not be recommending them to friends, family or coworkers.
