My hotel stay was nice enough. Although the facilities are somewhat run down and the shower in particular had some serious issues and made a very loud noise.
But my reason for such a poor review is that the hotel mistakenly charged my credit card 3 times. They never issued a statement or an apology, I had to contact them to ask what had gone wrong, and almost 1 month later I still have not received a refund.
This has cast a very dark shadow on my experience.

Check-in was slow but that's because we were big group 10 persons. Food was very good and served quickly.
Breakfast was amazing. Incredibly large variety of choice. Omlet station, fruits and so on. Personnel very polite.
The food no matter what you order taste badly .. chicken wings.. not cooked enough ..the chicken Alfredo pasta ..chicken was chewy even the fish meals smell unseasoned .. the tiramisu cake I last ordered 3 weeks ago,it's as if they used puncheon rum to soak the cake... the quality of the food leaves much to be desired...not to mention some of the rooms smell mouldy!!
The hotel is good. But there is no exhausts in the washroom, moreover there is no arrangement for standing and talking shower. You have to use the tub.
By far the most unprofessional way of handling customers service of all my business trip. My colleague and me were on a business to POS, I stayed for 18 nights and my colleague 11 nights. During the checkout process we handled them a company check to settle the bills, they agreed at the front desk to release the amount held but the next day they still go ahead to charge the amount to our credit cards. We went back to hotel to verify that why is the action taken. They replied that they were waiting for the company check to be transacted and in the mean time the amount in our credit card was charged too. I mean how could you charge to our credit card first when you hadn't know the status of the check? (Did you guys assume that the check will bounce?) The check got through anyway. It took them at least 2 days to realize that it was their mistake and at least another 3 days to make the refund. As we were using foreign credit card there was a fluctuation in currency rate during the charge-back. When asked, the hotel front desk manager replied us saying that they did not do the conversion as it was not necessary and did not understand why our bank credit card would charge a different rate. The hotel did nothing to compensate the fluctuation difference for their fault made at their side. This is the most unprofessional way of handling things i ever seen, We stayed more for 18 nights, mind you! Not 1 or 2 nights and this is the kind of services that we received. We are very disappointed and frustrated of how unprofessionally Radisson Trinidad handled our case. We are currently raising a dispute with the bank to file a case as our credit card account are now being suspended for your inability to handle situation. I would strongly not recommend anyone to contribute a single cent to Raddison Trinidad.

Rooms were nice and comfortable. I was on the 11th floor and the view was spectacular.
Great for a few days getaway to relax.

Went to 360 restaurant. Loved the buffet, food was delicious. View (is awesome!), second to none as restaurants go in Trinidad. Staff was mostly friendly, courteous and professional, that is: mostly. Did encounter one that did not meet that standard.

Went to 360" restaurant for brunch with the family. Fabulous experience. Ambience, in a revolving rest., food ,courteous staff made this a really great experience for the grandkids.

I stayed here 3 weeks ago for 2 nights and regretted every moment of it. The place is a dump. The hallway to my room was dirty for 2 nights/3 days, the bathtub was broken, sink was not clean, the place smelled musty and looked dirty. The price was so jacked up that I expected better. I spent the previous 2 nights at the Hyatt across the street and that was an absolute pleasure. It was heavenly. The Hyatt also had an exchange rate of $7/1 and the Radisson had a $6/1. Robbery. The only good thing about the Radisson was the staff.

The security guards needs to be more friendly and courteous. Yes their job is to scrutinize guests etc but they can do it in a better way.
The ambience of the place is tops. The service was great, greeted by friendly staff and everything thereafter was incredible.

Went into the room and the curtains were on the floor. The room smelled old and the decorations are outdated. The pool is great though and it's heated which makes the world of difference!!

Where do I start with this hotel?? I've reviewed this hotel before and I must say that improvement is not something I foresee.
The hotel is in terrible need of updating. The rooms are just horrible. They smell musty , the curtains are dirty to the point where you can see the black on them. There is no attention to detail whatsoever. The food is hit or miss and the service is substandard. I can go on and on.
The Radisson brand is running a risk of its name being dragged in the mud with this property. There needs to be some demands made to really improve the place. The slapdash cosmetic so-called improvements only make things worse because if you are a guest who pays attention, you only see poor workmanship.
You guys need to get it together.
