First, let me start by saying that I've wanted to stay at this hotel since before it opened. I thought that it had to be something special given there are only three hotels in the United States with the "Radisson Blu" name. Before my wife and I even walked through the door we were greeted by valet staff and were welcomed into the lobby. The atmosphere in the lobby is nothing short of modern and upscale. Staff at the front desk were extremely professional and polite. We stayed in a Superior King room and were impressed with the modern design and comfort. For dinner, we made reservations for the Fire Lake Grille House and Cocktail Bar. All I can say is OUTSTANDING. Food, people, atmosphere, and service were all out of the ballpark. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay and am already looking into booking my next stay to celebrate my birthday.

This hotel is attached to the Mall of America which is the main reason why our family chose to stay here. We were visiting the mall with our toddler during the colder months, so it really benefited us to stay here as we never had to step outside to go anywhere. We also paid the daily parking fee and felt that in our situation it was worth it. You have the option to pay and park at the hotel, or park at the mall for free and walk to the hotel. Be aware that free parking requires paperwork every time you switch parking spots. The Radisson Blu MOA is rated as being a 4.5 star hotel, and I feel that this rating is correct in regards to every aspect of the hotel except for the standard rooms which are aesthetically pleasing, but functionally speaking- not good. For example, there is no counter space in the bathroom. The sink isn't deep enough to drain properly. Also, in our room there was no dresser. Instead of a dresser there was a closet with 3 pull-out shelves that can only hold a couple articles of clothing. Walls are thin and we could hear everything from above us, next to us, and in the halls. Lastly, the hotel is considered family-friendly, but there are no tubs (very inconvenient when traveling with a baby or toddler.)

Ok service. The parking isn't really explained while booking. There IS free parking, you just have to walk around the mall to get to the parking lot and you have to fill out a form the day you check in stating where you'll be parking for your entire stay, as if you'll be able to have the same parking spot every single day in an open to the public lot. The hotel does have convenient parking, for $18 a day. Some of the front desk employees are better than others. The luggage carts are clunky to use. Room keys stop working at least 15 minutes before checkout, so don't forget anything in your room and have to step back in real quick or you'll find yourself needing to go down to the lobby to reactivate your card just to go all the way back up to get in. Cleanliness was good, COVID precautions seem to be taken very serious and diligent but there's nobody in the upper lobby ensuring guests are wearing masks. While it's impossible to watch them entire hotel, having someone in the main area of the second floor (which is basically the lobby, front desk is the only thing on the first floor) shouldn't be out of the question. The Fire Lake Grill in the restaurant was top-notch and helped make up for the shortcomings of the hotel itself. Convenient access to the Mall of America. Pool was good, they had occupancy limited with appointments so there weren't too many people in there at a time which was nice. 7/10.

While the lobby and lounge area is great and the bar served good drinks, the room did not feel clean. Sheets and towels were great but we found sesame seeds on the carpeting (that weren't ours) and dust bunnies on the floors. Pool was almost too cold to swim in. Lots of room service plates were stacked in front of doors in hallways and not cleared throughout the day. Access to the MOA is so convenient but value clean appearances over easy access.

Gorgeous surroundings! Security is a 10! Close to Airport & downtown Minneapolis. Hotel connected directly to the Mall of America! Excellent hotel staff & Valet service is prompt & helpful! Wonderful, tasty food at restaurants connected to hotel. The beds were uncomfortable & so was the chair, but other than that; the stay was great!

The hotel was really very nice! Stayed in a 1 br suite which was beautiful. However, the walls seem very thin; I could hear everything around us. Also the elevators up and down get quite busy with people and their shopping bags. Room service was fast and the food was great!

Super clean, extras in the bathroom like cuetips and wipes, ceiling rain head shower, unique accent lighting, multiple charging stations, clean carpets, etc. Felt very high-class and nice. Attached to the Mall of America, the convenient location of this hotel is great. Only con is you have to pay $16 a day to park. One of the best places to stay for a Mall of America trip for sure.

Overall exceptional service! Came here for a trip I won with some friends. I must say the staff has gone more than above and beyond for us. Coming from Miami, we don t normally receive a lot of good treatment from people. Micki at the business class lounge was very attentive and friendly, Lavert, Ashley, and Melissa at the front desk were very knowledgeable when it came to food, nightlife and tourist suggestions and made us feel right at home from the very beginning. I cannot wait to come back! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

You would think a hotel of this size would accommodate your needs when traveling to and from the airport. If you have a very early morning flight, or a late night flight don't count on it. If you have a large party they won't accommodate you either. When a hotel is 5 minutes from the airport that should be a service they offer. Our larger party was told we would need to rent a taxi just to accommodate our luggage. Then when we booked the shuttle for our family it was already filled up, which resulted in my two youngest daughters having to sit on laps, which is entirely unsafe. The hotel just across the street had 3 very large shuttles parked out front. This hotel could easily afford a better shuttle for access to and from the airport at constant times, rather than only every hour on the hour between 7am and 9pm. Apparently once the new Marriott on the other side is done it will make this hotel look like a piece of junk anyways, so sounds like they have some very much deserved competition coming their way.

My experience here has been amazing. Everyone was very pleasant especially Qwatel, the receptionist at the front desk. She went above and beyond to accommodate my family and I. The scene is beautiful. The moment you walk inside, you instantly feel relaxed. Don't need to go anywhere else. With the mall, and very nice restaurants, everything's at your fingertips. Will stay here again.

Attended a company holiday party but didn't stay in a room. The service was very good during dinner and at the bars. My dinner was excellent but my girlfriend's steak was slightly overcooked. Overall I was very satisfied.

The Radisson Blu is a beautiful property. I experienced good service, had a modern and clean room, and enjoyed breakfast and an evening reception with my rate. It is immediately next door to the mall, as well, if your plan is shopping. I haven't been able to say many positive things about the Radisson brand previous to this but I'd say my opinion is changed for the better!

I've attendee multiple conferences at the Radisson Blu and I found it to be a professional and courteous experience. All the conference rooms are kept in good order and the catering is on point.

Overall disappointing. Booked a business floor room only to find children screaming in the lounge and a hotel room door which slammed louder than anything I ve ever seen. Housekeeping knocking on the door at 9AM on my checkout day waking me up doesn t seem necessary. Told I could have a 1PM late check out but needed to return the day-of to request. Upon my return I m told my only option is to pay for 5PM late checkout. You would think at a time when the travel industry is suffering so deeply, accommodations would be made to keep the visitors they do have happy. The convenience of walking to the mall isn t worth the cost if you aren t going to treat guests well.

The Radisson Blu Mall of America is a great place to stay. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is friendly. I stayed for a week in business class accommodations, which was fabulous. This accommodations came with business Lounge perk of breakfast and after 5 pm wine; beer with hors d'oeuvres. In, addition to bottled water, canned soda and coffee.
An area of improvement is the business class breakfast, there is limited protein options (just scrambled eggs, and had boiled eggs), which was extremely surprisingly given the great attention to detail in other areas was exceptional.

The hotel also offers a saltwater pool, with adult swim hours and family hours. The last perk is the location. The hotel is attached to the Mall of America.

The staff was incredibly friendly, the room was very clean and pleasant, and it s attached to the Mall of America via skywalk. What more could you want from a hotel? I would recommend the Radisson Blu to anybody looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Our experience here was awesome, and we will be staying again in the future.

This is our second spring break staying at the Radisson. This time we brought our four month old baby who had a cold. Took a leap of faith and asked the front desk if they had a humidifier, they sure did and didn't hesitate to let us borrow it. Made our stay, and everyone on our floor, a lot more enjoyable. Five stars for accommodations, customer service, and location!

The location is great. Easy access to the interstate, light rail line, and of course the mall. Staff is friendly. Hotel is clean and modern. Would not recommend for families. Shower and bath set ups are not child friendly. Parking lot is too small for overnight guests.

Not an overnight guest, so this review does not rate the hotel itself, only its convention space. Used one or the ballrooms for a corporate party. The space worked well, but the acoustics were awful when the band played. You couldn't hear the person next to you. Food was okay, but for "state Fair food" it wasn't as good as I'd expect with a distinct lack of. Vegitarian options. Not bad, not great.

Great place to stay! I stayed here for weeks straight when I was working in Minneapolis. The rooms are spacious, they ve a great breakfast, serve alcohol in the evenings, and provide you with free drink coupons as well. If you re lucky enough to get free parking, that s just icing on the cake. :)

It was a very nice clean place to stay up but I was very disappointed there was a very shallow pool and there was no hot tub and there was no microwave in the room that being said that is usually a normal thing that rooms have I was expecting that especially since this was a Radisson Blu and it was connected to the Mall of America I thought it would have been better quality do not recommend staying at this hotel

We switched to this hotel for a two day mini honeymoon after our wedding on Friday. We had a junior suite, when we arrived in our room it was very nice looking and we were excited to just lay down after business of the last few days.

While the bathroom looked nice, the shower attachment for the bathtub would leak and spray water when you run the regular bath faucet. The extra shower attachment in the stand alone shower will spray you if you turn the water on right away, so expect a cold spray of water before switching it to the overhead shower.
Anything we plugged into the tv would have the sound delayed after a minute or so and it gets worse the longer it goes on.
The air in the room wouldn't drop below 71 which is warm for us, so we set it to 68, then 65, then the maximum 62 and there was no change in temp the whole night.
The mini fridge didn't work. It was weird, because it had a snooze option and a quick cool thing, but it didn't get cool no matter what we did.

The staff was very nice, and the building is beautiful, but the rooms could really use a lot of maintenance.

I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel from March 27th - 29th, and I was not impressed. The staff working the front desk were about average as they did greet me and offered to assist me after a few minutes. My issue with this hotel came up once I arrived at the door to my room following check-in, and there were leftovers from prior room service sitting on the floor. I was greeted by old french fries and a half eaten cheeseburger, leading me to think that I was at the wrong room. Once I stepped into the room I immediately called room service to pick up the trash, something that took over 45 minutes although I was advised it was being addressed immediately. The room looked as though someone cleaned it up with their eyes closed, with leftover hair all over the shower wall and fungus growing in the corner.

Response from the front desk, we're sorry but there is a lot going on with our house keeping team at the moment so some items are being overlooked. I'm sorry, but I would not recommend this hotel in my personal opinion because there is no true value in the product that you receive.

It was a beautiful hotel. The rooms were nicely furnished, although a bit small. It had multiple large spaces to talk with friends. It was also nice because it was connected to the second floor of mall of America. The sad thing was that there was no free breakfast, it was fairly expensive.

Checking in was a zoo! Not enough desk staff. Not enough space to be socially distant. Had to wait forever to check in. I wouldn t stay here again during this pandemic. Everyone was crammed in the lobby trying to check in, it was an outbreak waiting to happen.
