Disaster of a business. Horrible customer service and the most careless and rude staff. If you need products for your business do yourself a favor and go with a company that does not treat you like scum. Especially when you have been doing business with AUI for 25 years. A company once touted as an industry leader now operates like a wellfare office. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
I've been using AUI for almost a decade now for all of my confection, molecular gastronomy, and place-and-bake hors d'ouevres needs at multiple venues. They're a great company with excellent customer service and fantastic products. Can't go wrong. They'll get you what you need when you need it, and are especially pleasant to deal with even in an emergency. I've gone straight to the office for a will-call more than once and have always been treated very well.

I love their products. Some of them little pricey but it worth every penny. Particularly love their fondant. The most important their customer service. Ordered on Thursday evening, it was delivered by Friday!!!!!!. (We are living in DC area. Their office is couple of hours drive away from us. Still it is incredibly fast). When driver delivered, we were not at home, and he notified representative that he left package on a porch. And representative contacted us to make sure we are aware and where to find our package!!!! This is I call "Customer service". Thank you so much ...
We have purchased from AUI for about 7 years and all, every single one of their products are unsurpassed by other food vendors. Delicious food, professional service (by Robin), and great overall advice by their staff. If they can't find an answer they will search until they get it! Amazing people and amazing products. The price is a little high but great food costs more.
