The hotel is in a very good location. The rooms are very comfortable.
I was alone at the bar and it is very good, good cocktails, they have 2 pool tables so you can use them while you enjoy your drinks, even if you are not staying at the hotel.
Our experience was less than what weexpected, but we could have caught the staff on a bad night.,
This is a really, really nice hotel, that is attached to a really big mall. I don't necessarily know that you would want to stay by the mall, though it is a short ride from the airport. So if you have to be close to the airport, it's nice to have access to all of the restaurants inside the mall. That being said, I would still probably rather stay closer to downtown. Now if you have to stay at the hotel, it is a very, very nice hotel. The staff was great, the rooms were very nice, and the bed was comfortable.
The lobby is beautiful, definitely took me by surprise. The rooms are a bit dated, and not particularly comfortable. A decent amount of light from the mall and the oversized alarm clock made it hard to get to sleep. The location worked for me, but if my office wasn't right there I would have never stayed here. The MoA is pretty boring, just a normal suburban mall but bigger, not better. The staff was very friendly and helpful, no complaints there.
I attended the Forever Bride Bridal show at the Radisson Blu. The event was great and the service staff was awesome. The staff were very efficient in providing drinks and assist in directing us to areas within the hotel. The styling was fresh and welcoming.
Just spent 3 nights there and everything was top notch! Service, accomadations , and location was excellent. Only thing we missed was a hot tub after a long day of shopping.
Great hotel. It is directly connected to the mall of America. Plenty of large conference rooms for work events. Fitness center is very good. Rooms are clean. Showers are a bit odd as there are no shower doors. Restaurant and bar available in hotel but there are plenty of options in the mall
True luxury experience, ample supply of toileteries, water, fruits and coffee. Restaurant's menu is equally impressive. Stayed for a month, every one was courteous and professional. Will definitely visit again.
Nice rooms and friendly staff. The shower was one of those rain shower kinds. I wish it had stronger water pressure.
Just left this hotel 6/10 and it's always really good hospitality... everytime I come to town i stay here...
Been to the Radisson Blu MO twice. The hotel has been ridiculously understaffed both times and service has been submitted par.
They had the best safety protocols in place to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The hotel is beautiful and has access to Mall of America from second floor and they had Great art work throughout the hotel and photos in the rooms over the beds. Great and quick guest services to get crib for the baby and towels replaced. Front desk staff very helpful, professional and friendly. Everyone and thing was incredible!!! Thank you Radisson Blu
fail in love with the lobby with the lobby & entrance to the hotel. It has a very modern feel. The rooms are updated, spacious & comfortable. I also appreciate the fact its close to the mall.
Friendly staff, great event space, and awesome food
The service staff were very polite and catered food was quite good.
I've never stayed here, but I have attended two professional events. The lobby and conference room are are large and clean, and the catered food is pretty good and accommodating of various dietary restrictions. The only downside is having to walk through the mall to avoid paying at the hotel's ramp.
Nice quiet and relaxing. Gorgeous rooms and Friendly staff
It's a really nice place and is very conveniently located
Business associate came into Minneapolis for a meeting next day and we met for a quick chat in the Blu's lounge off the walkway to MOA. It was very convenient perfect place to go.
Great hotel! The decor is beautiful! It's connected to the Mall of America and that is an awesome perk! The rooms were clean the staff hospitality was great. I would certainly stay again. I definitely recommend the Minnesota Nice and a pop over at the bar in the hotel. The bartenders were excellent! The people were very friendly.
This hotel is our brand favourite we have been here 3 times and will be back in 2019, Outstanding.
Excellent in all aspects. Friendly service. Very clean rooms. Perfect location. We all loved the decor. Had a photo shoot for my son with those props.
There was loud music playing throughout the night and the walls were too thin to block them out.
Love the hotel and staff and importantly the location. Easy access to the mall and most places. The business floor also has a dedicated lounge so makes life easier for business people on the go.
WARNING
please, please read carefully when you purchase for a room in this hotel. You don t get your money s worth especially haven t to be a luxurious hotel Very disappointed. Here are many few things that threw me off in not coming back to this hotel.
No free breakfast
No microwave
Not enough soap, shampoo, conditioner, and no small tube of toothpaste
refrigerator only works if you turn it on manually for an hour on quick freeze
No staircases if the elevator is busy
No pamphlets for ordering out
they enroll us in a rewards card program Supposedly they said it s free but it turn out to be $50
In conclusion you might say i am nitpicking but don t come off as you re a luxurious with a high class hotel if you can t provide these small amenities
I worked the kitchen a few hours. Dish area has been getting backed up. I hope I was able to help get them caught up. :
It was nice to have indoor access to the Mall of America. The hotel employees were nice too. However, there were many problems. First they did not successfully do what they had told us - that both our groups would have adjoining rooms from day one, although we finally got adjoining rooms the next day, but it was a hassle. Also the showers have a lack of power compared to what I'm use to in hotel rooms. There is half a shower door too; the remaining side stays open. There are no locks on the bathroom doors so someone can just come in and look at you through the open part of the shower door. Water easily goes out of the open side onto the floor too. There is not even a secure lock on the bathrooms outside the pool area, so people can barge in on you while you are doing your business. There is a little vacant/occupied sign which few see. The room card that people use to open the bathrooms outside the rooms even opens what look like deadbolts on the inside of the bathroom!! So no help to your privacy with the deadbolt looking things. Several people barged in on multiple people in our party. There is no real ventilation fan in the room bathroom. One elevator wasn't working properly - so several people got "stuck" on the 3rd floor with the same broken elevator stopping there (you could get on it, but the key didn't work to allow a press of an upper floor button). In other words, you couldn't go up on the elevator unless somebody on an upper floor pressed an elevator button and then you could only go to that floor. You couldn't really use the stairway either to get to a floor because the stairwell does not allow reentry into the building (it is for fire use only). Also there was very limited counter space in the bathroom. I would say the pool was kind of small too. I give it two stars, but my female companion gives it four stars so I have to rank it three stars here.
Very clean, contemporary, friendly staff. A very nice stay with kids
First of all, I want to state how dissatisfied I am with my stay here. This hotel s staff is extremely disorganized and the housekeeping is blind. So, here s the story. During my stay here, I left a pair of white shorts on the ground in the bathroom. A maid took it as a towel and I never saw it again. And before you blame me for leaving my stuff on the ground, hear me out. These shorts are relatively small compared to a whole towel. And no, they weren t buried under the towel so I don't see why someone could possibly mistake this as a towel. I called housekeeping to report the issue the same day. They said they would get to work trying to find it; apparently not. I gave them four days to find my shorts before I had to leave. Nothing happened, except me constantly making phone calls to check for updates. They always gave me the same answer: we need to consult someone else to get information. They told me balderdash such as We need to get in touch with the company that washes our linens or We need to contact the head of housekeeping. I know because I am not clueless that they didn t do anything to aid me in my inquiry to retrieve my stolen shorts. In the end, I gave up because I knew the people they told me to contact and the excuses they gave would take me nowhere. There goes my favorite pair of white shorts that are essential to many of my outfits. I am extremely discontent with my stay here and the lesson I learned is to: 1. Not stay here 2. Learn that hotel staff don t care about you, in truth. Please improve your general management and communication between departments. Thank you for reading this.
Staff was relatively rude, and parking was difficult. Information was difficult to obtain until we entered the Mall of America. Then we had an alright time.
Went to the bar attached to the mall. Very cool decor, good drinks and a generally good vibe.
Gorgeous high end hotel, professional staff clean ultra modern rooms, wish I could live there
Blue Martinis with blue ice balls, playing pool while munching on some of the best dishes Minnesota has to offer.
If you are being Served by Jess, you are in for an added bonus!
Best Restaurant in the Mall of America!
Absolutely wonderful. Room is spacious and bed is comfortable. Shower is so nice, with a showerhead attached directly above to the ceiling, so it feels like you're standing under a waterfall. The decor is nice--it has a modern design. The hotel is attached to the Mall of America, so that's nice. It feels separate though. Walls are thick, making the room feel extra private and quiet. Elevators are fast, despite it being a large, busy hotel. The indoor pool is nice, and the gym is big and well equipped. I was here for a work conference, and the hotel staff serving us was fantastic. The hotel is very secure--you need a room key to access everything, including the elevators. Free shuttle to and from hotel on request.
Nice hotel connected directly to the Mall of America. Good meeting spaces and conference rooms.
First off, this hotel is RIDICULOUSLY expensive. My friend was staying here for TWO NIGHTS and it was $500. She had four people staying in the room, and I was coming to visit. We called the Radisson Blu Downtown and they said the room can have 8 people at once, as long as not all of them are staying. There was 5 of us in the room, and a man with a longer red beard came upstairs and kicked us out. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone I know. Also, it was her birthday, and this man ruined it for her. Worst experience with a hotel I've ever had.
Solid beer/cocktail menu, surprisingly reasonable prices given the location though still spendy.
Stayed overnight for a work related Christmas party. All was well done, stayed on the business floor,. The hotel is beautiful and very well appointed.
The hotel is beautiful and it's access to the Mall of America is amazing!
The bed and pillows are so comfortable, they just welcome your body. Lol. The restaurant inside the hotel has decent Mimosas and breakfast was great.
We spent the weekend here with a large group of family and friends. We'd asked to be placed close together, and even though we didn't all arrive the same day, they accomodated us, from only an online request. The hotel was cool and very modern. It was SUPER convenient to be able to go down to the 2nd floor, walk down a short hallway and be in the MOA. We had people at all age ranges, so not having to bundle up little ones and pack them in cars every time we wanted to eat, was amazing! Everything was convenient and in close proximity. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is because I felt that some sacrifices were made in the rooms for the sake of looks, that made things impractical. Like no locks on bathrrom doors, not enough room on bathrrom counters and in showers for personal items, etc. And we weren't overly impressed with the restaurant there. In saying that, we would still easily go back. Also, the cost was very reasonable!
Very nice environment and is directly connected to the mall
For the cost of a one night stay the amenities were lacking. No validation for parking, so expect to pay an additional amount for each night you stay in their hotel. Room was a basic two queen bed room with nothing over the top. Location was quite convenient as we spent the day shopping at the Mall of America. Room service is available but when you are looking at fifteen a plate the Ihop across the street offered more variety. Overall atmosphere when you walk in to the lobby is enough to have your eyes roam at the amazing architectures. However once you get to your room you are greeted with a little better than a super 8.
Salmon was a little dry. But all in all a good experience
Room was ok, super humid and they were sold out so sleeping was difficult. Pool was freezing and no hot tub. Room service food was ok but expensive. For the price would definitely stay elsewhere.
**Edit** As is their policy, the Radisson was more than happy to refund us the full amount of our stay. I have changed from a two-star to a four-star as it was a very simple process and they were very pleasant throughout the whole part.
The room is fine but this location is a total nightmare. I ve tried to leave for work twice now and can barely get out of the ramp, so many people double park in a tiny turnabout and no staff monitoring. No coffee in the lobby OR the room. 17$ to park/day. Not enough amenities for the hassle to get in and out of here. Will not be choosing this one again.
Nice hotel! I love the restaurant that is attached.
The servers are nice and prompt. The food was very quick to arrive and was good. The dough chocolate honey tart was the best dessert, and everyone should try it.
Don t use the vallet parking if there for an event. Took +30 minutes to get our car and we were one of the first people down there. Horrible system for returning cars. Not impressed at all.
Great hotel, and great to work with. They helped me out of a reservation issue, and were very fair and friendly about it.
Great place! Clean modern rooms. Friendly, immensely helpful staff. Connected to the Mall of America by a heated, enclosed skyway (with a Caribou Coffee to spike your caffeine levels before shopping). Great restaurant and room service as well.
Great place for a work event! Good food and service!
It would be alot better if this pandemic wasn't happening.
Everything is great here! The shopping the food, the service, if you're with family or just want some time to yourself, there's something for everyone.
Overpriced for what it is but I really enjoyed my stay and the easy access to MOA does sort of make the price more reasonable. I would stay again for sure.
Checked in at check in time. Was told our rooms weren't cleaned yet. I was with my girlfriend and 3 children. Waited 2 hours for our rooms to be ready. Ruined our whole afternoon. Was only told sorry for the inconvenience. We will not stay there anymore.
