Beautiful course, fantastic conditions. Challenging but fair course.
I loved it looked pretty I stayed for two nights because of powwow
This place is such a gem! This was our second time staying here and it was as amazing as we remembered it! We booked 2 nights this time around, because 1 night is definitely not long enough. We took in the cultural activity this time around and it was amazing and informative and I highly recommend it as part of your stay. The spa and restaurant are 5 star worthy and world class and should not be missed. See you again soon!
Our favorite hotel, spa, restaurant and pub in the Shuswap. Located on Little Shuswap Lake with easy access to a sandy beach directly from the patio. With an emphasis on fresh local produce, protein, beer and wine their culinary offerings are remarkable.
Great service, fairways and greens were impeccable.
Delicious meals and views of Little Shuswap Lake, at this resort. They also have the great Little Bear Gift Shop.
Their food menu is excellent. They even have bannock.
Clean, well maintained , friendly staff a pity about the rain.
A very nice hotel in a great location. The steam room was not working during our visit but other than that the facilities were perfect.
One of my favourite places to get away. High class facilities. Food is amazing.
Good food and good prices. Was an excellent dinner!
On the shores of Little Shuswap Lake, the excellent Talking Rock golf course, rated 4-1/2 stars, and lakeside Quaaout Lodge combine to create a wonderfully relaxing resort experience - the pride of the Little Shuswap Indian Tribe. Here you can test your golfing skills on a top-quality layout, while extending your knowledge of Native Indian food and culture.
I absolutely loved the golf course at Talking Rock! Beautiful, and great for any level of golfer. The staff at the resort are super helpful and friendly, the amenities are unique as they give historical context to the area and manages to make it feel modern and upscale.
Love, love, love the shuswap board and the talking rock burger. They make a killer Ceasar as well.
We booked this resort for a short family getaway, and we really enjoyed our stay. Our room was tidy and really spacious. We brought our own playpen and with that being in the room, we still had plenty of space. The balcony look our to the lake, and it was also very clean. We didn't get to utilize the facility too much, nor did we get a chance to eat at the restaurant so I can't comment on that. Overall, very friendly staff and clean / spacious room!
Awesome service and the amenities are to die for
Food is 5 star quality and fresh
AMAZING!
Food was good, but slow to come out and there were a lot of flies in the dining room
We got married here in February, 2017, and they did such an exceptional job for us! Every member of the staff was so helpful, attentive, and very pleasant. It is such a stunning place, and almost a year later we still have friends and family telling us how it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding! We are so happy we picked Quaaout Lodge for our wedding, and we will certainly be returning regularly! If you get a breakfast sandwich, ask for it on the bannock- best breakfast sandwich I've ever had!!!
Awesome place with a lot of culture and heritage built into the infrastructure. If dinning between regular meal hours, feel free to ask for the full menu as opposed to the condensed menu they first offer.
Golf course in great condition, rooms clean and the "package deal" was very affordable
Lovely hotel! Staff were great, rooms were spotless, and the food was good. Def recommend!
Absolutely love this place !! Quiet, clean, super comfortable, awesome lake ( lakes ) and the golf course is really good - fun fun fun
My extended family and I had an incredible time at Quaaout Lodge! Every aspect of our 4 night stay exceeded expectations. Staff were friendly accomodating and gracious. Food in the restaurant was world class. The golf course was stunning and challenging. We found our new spot in BC and can't wait to go back.
Visited during a work conference in Oct and the golf course was closed, and some service staff were away. Rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable.
Great place and the best staff in the Country. Will be back definitely!
Busy place, couldn't get a tee time. Restaurant was very good
This was my first time staying at the lodge, it was truly a wonderful experience. The peaceful call of winter that the perfect thing to make my christmas vacation truly pleasant. The staff were all very nice as well as the restaurant had excellent food. The 5 star experiance is one I am eager to have again next time I am up.
From the service from the door to the service of the restraunt to the service of the house keeping to the service of the maintenance to the Gardners all staff were absolutely amazing I Rate the service 10++++.Good Job upper management your doing your job great to see such happy Staff.
Tried to book a Mother's Day brunch almost 2 weeks ago, was on the "wait list" and was told they would call back once they had a seating plan on the following Monday. Didn't hear back so called on Wednesday and was told the plan was not ready but it would be shortly and they would call back saying not to worry, they will call me. (assuming they were figuring out a time for us). Finally after not hearing anything, I called back the day before Mother's day and was told sorry, we would not have room for our group of 5. I am happy to cook brunch but having to call back so many times when being told they were going to call me is disappointing to say the least.
Beautiful facility. Friendly, helpful staff, top-notch food & beverage. Check out the 3D mural. Stunning!
There breakfast was great and service was great. I love the big Shuswap breakfast. I will come back again for some more.
A beautiful place surrounded by greenery and in front of a wonderful lake
Wonderful , quiet very peaceful. Excellent service and clean. JackDams is a wonderful restaurant. Prices a little high.
Very beautiful view, amazing food, wicked staff n cozy rooms we will definitely be back
Beautiful location, friendly staff, but a little dated. Could use some updating but otherwise a great location, especially for weddings.
Only thing that wasn't amazing was the rocks never talked to me. I wanted to know what the rocks had to say.
Food was completely amazing!!! Tables spaced perfectly.
If I could have changed anything it would have been the decor in the dining room.
Felt more like a cafeteria.
But did I mention the food.!?
Hahaha So good!
Clean rooms, friendly informative staff. The views are spectacular. We enjoyed all our meals. Will certainly go back again.
Excellent Lodge, Great food, Great people, Great Golf Course!
Excellent service and food. A beatuful place to stay.
"The Golf Course" to play in the area. If you only have time to play one in our area...
Play This One! Very well maintained.....first class!
Played golf and ate here great golf course and staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast on the patio has great views of the lake was the food was delicious. Would definitely come again.
Rooms are rather small. Dining in restaurant very expensive, but if you eat at the bar and chose from that menu, it's pretty reasonable. Mixed drinks are 2 ounces for $10 so that's reasonable too. I have had the salmon burger and the portobello mushroom burger. Both we delicious. Breakfast skillet was good too.
Lovely hotel on banks of Little Shuswap Lake. Great views and amazing setting.
Really good buffet breakfast
Friendly helpful staff.
Golf course really worth playing.
OMG, seeing is believing!Must see and feel the fragrance of super clean Shuswap lake , the lodge itself , beautiful golf coarse, true hospitality, like a super home away from home!
Definitely valid visa. Cozy and situated on a lovely lake. Worth the detour and stop. Also in the restaurant it is very nice and the dishes are to be praised.
Superplace.. food . Sunday brunch awsome
Nice golf course

After looking forward to visiting the spa for over two months, my friend and I were extremely disappointed. We arrived to find that our appointment which had been sent in by email and confirmed by phone was not in the system. They managed to squeeze us in for some of our services. The Nature's Renew packaged advertised to be 1.5 hours was completed in about 50 mins. The massage was nothing special and the girl performing the service clearly had a cold as she coughed throughout. At no point was there a discussion about skin sensitivities when it came to the facial. Due to a cancellation we were offered a manicure or pedicure (but not both as we had originally thought we had booked). We opted for the pedicure. This was an hour long service at a cost of $69. My feet soaked for over 20 minutes, my cuticles were never cut, and I left with paint on my cuticles and skin around my nails. There were several apologies, but no effort was made or discount offered to compensate us. According to my husband, the golf was great. Glad he had a good time.
Breath taking in every way. You can see the lake from every room. Take in the food. It is awesome. The amenities are plentiful, a spa, pool, gym and much more. At the end of you day take in the food at the bar.
Beautiful... Stunning. Spiritual. Clean... And economical.
I live near this lodge, and have been swimming there as long as I can remember. All around beautiful place, weather your just spent, need a room for the night. Looking for a supreme Sunday breakfast. Or just wanting a day on a sandy beach. As well as golf if it wasn't good enough.
Better than any other hotel - the first thing that hit me was the peace - I could breath! The nature is incredible. Second is the professional and friendly/happy staff - it translates to the guests being so friendly with each other - in the pool, at the buffet (delish!) - the third would be the art, and finally the attention to detail - the little "extras", like a culture expert giving a wonderful (free) tour of the nearby pit house, like keurig options in the room, the room exit to the beach (!), the sweet grass soap, free WiFi with no password, free parking, etc. It just goes on and on (rooms are beautiful, lobby is magnificent etc)
We just had an amazing dinner at Quaaout Lodge; food and service was fantastic!! What a wonderful place in a unique setting. Do check out the lovely mural in the lower level.
Food was good, staff was not. They were very hostile and did not seem to want to help or compromise for anything. Very disappointing
A nice, clean simple hotel with excellent quisine and basic amenities. Huge private beach with available canoe/kayak/paddleboard rentals.
Pros: many aspects of first Nations culture represented. Definitely supporting the local community. Gourmet food at the restaurant. Very responsive to problems and requests. Beautiful warm lake with white sandy beach.
Local area has many nice spots to visit.
Cons: a few maintenance issues which were quickly rectified. Many of the advertised cultural activities and tours were unavailable due to staffing. First promised a few activities to accomodate us but then cancelled. Rentals process inefficient, inconvenient and expensive. Food very expensive. It's good but a bit overpriced.
Overall will likely return with tempered expectations.
It's unfortunate that our visit coincided with the Covid 19 pandemic as having open amenities might've made our experience more memorable :)
Will be coming back, great location, and very friendly staff. Restaurant is very good as well!
Confortable and quiet hotel and a very fine restaurant. The hotel has all you need: indoor swimming pool with jaccuzi, Spa, fitness room, gifts shop, bar and restaurant. Don't miss the famous brunch on each Sunday morning. The dishes are really delicious and elaborated. The staff is pleasant and gives you good advices.
The Lodge's very talented Chef Michael created an amazing Valentines Day dining experience for my daughter and I. The dessert was the best I've ever had, and that's saying a lot! The other restaurant staff were very friendly and efficient and made us feel very welcome. The view from our table was wonderful - I could have sat there all day and watched the waves on the lake. We can hardly wait to go back!
Beautiful quiet place to go and relax. Amazing views of little shuswap
I and my dad played golf here today, the course is very beautiful and well kept.
We got paired up with a father son Reg and Lee and there where super friendly. Will be back to play.
