Very good place to hold conferences and well priced food

Had an amazing couples massage. Chad was my massage person and was awesome. Super professional, friendly and we will definitely go back

Nice lodge with golf course attached. Pet friendly rooms on the first floor. You can also get a jacuzzi tub that looks out from your room onto the lake. Pool and sauna that I did not use but are available. Dinner was ok service was good, drinks and food ok. Breakfast was really good I had smoked salmon eggs benny and could not finish it.

Great place to stay on the shuswap!if you have any chance to come here take it, Every opportunity I have I take it its xomfy cozy and accommodating breakfast lunch and dinner are great,in thr restaurant here,
I love the in door fire place in the lobby, it's comfortable to begin unwinding with a hot tea, or hot chocolate before you retire to your room or sleep,

Jack Sam restaurant offers 5 star dining with stunning beauty of lake and mountain views. The restaurant and resort are owned and operated by the Secwepemc Aboriginal/First Nations Band on lands where they have resided for many thousands of years. Their rich culture is evident in the buildings and their decorations-- Even the golf course!
A total experience not to be missed.

Amazing staff, amazing food, amazing building, amazing view.

Smelled great when we walked in as they had large buffet style brunch being served. The carvings and interesting art is spread out as I there us something to see throughout. I did not stay but checked out the gifts shop and noticed they have a nice pool area. Lots of walking trails and outdoor stuff to see.

Really nice hotel. Beautiful view from the restaurant. Long private beach. Dog friendly. Friendly staff. Would stay again!

We went to Quaaout Lodge for a wedding. The facility was beautiful. Great views of Shuswap lake. The staff were very accommodating. A great place to have a wedding away from the city. The food was also top notch. The flavours were amazing. I would recommend this place if you are ever in the area!

Great golf, great friends - the food wasn't the best but all together Talking Rock is an excellent get away and golf option.

After searching and talking to many people at other businesses on the internet with no luck and some attitude. And sometimes with frustration I called the Pro Shop at Talking Rock Golf Course. I was looking for a retirement gift for my brother that has everything. I talked with Spencer he was so professional and easy to talk to. I bought golf passes with no problem , he took his time to explain every step of the process. He was very nice to talk to and did not rush at any time. Thank you again to very nice professional people at Talking Rock Golf Course

Beautiful location on the lake. Lovely long Sandy beach. Accommodation of good quality, restaurant food was very tasty though dinner portion small for price. Staff v friendly and pool and Jacuzzi very clean. Great stay thanks.

Phenomenal experience. Quaaout lodge hosted our holiday party and it was an absolute blast. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing the rooms are gorgeous and the planning process was so smooth. Highly recommend and look forward to visiting again!

Was just there for one night with my husband to attend his nephew's wedding. Wow. I am 55 years old and I have NEVER slept in such a comfortable bed and the pillows were to die for, as well. Everyone working there was super friendly and polite and helpful. The wedding was perfection from my point of view as a guest and I know the couple was very happy and it was exactly what they had wanted. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but the dinner for the wedding was FABULOUS...I'm a vegetarian and my husband is a total carnivore and we both loved the buffet. The beach on the property is great - I did go for a quick dip late at night!

I've only been here for the golf facility but it is fantastic. Very challenging course. I'm sure the food is great too, will have to check out the hotel and spa one day as well.

It's always a treat to spend a night here with the staff from Sahali Dental. The Sunday brunch is awesome!

Stopped in for breakfast, was pleasantly surprised to find the food not only amazing but very reasonably priced. Amazing location and scenery and extremely well maintained facilities that we could see..

Beautiful spot ! Rooms were lovely , beach was incredible !! Turned out to be a wonderful honeymoon spot .

We were there to use the spa, I had a fantastic one hour massage. Before We went we stopped in at the Jack Sam's restaurant and had a coffee and a bite to eat. The prices were great, food was fresh & portions large.
The artwork throughout Quail Lodge is definitely something to see. Downstairs by the spa they have a metal collage on the wall with a waterfall running through it. Absolutely stunning! All the doors are intricately engraved. With different animal scenes. It doesn't matter where you look in the building, there's something fantastic to celebrate the local culture.

Stayed here a few times and it's always amazing. Beautiful location, excellent service and the rooms are clean and comfy.

Absolutely loved it! From the rooms to the front end service was incredible. The food was excellent and our server was the best I have seen in a long time.

Had the true pleasure of playing Talking Rock for the first time on June 29th! 'Twas a delightful golf experience from friendly staff, to impeccable course condition, and superb views. Thank goodness for the front nine to warm you up before you climb a few fairways on the back to be rewarded with some incredible views as you then play back down, and the right along the beach of Little Shuswap for the finishing hole!

I used to think extremely highly of Quaaout Lodge and all its amenities. That is until I got engaged and tried to enquire about booking a a wedding there. Out of the dozens of venues I was in communication with, the Sales Manager at talking Rock was by far the least helpful. After 60 days of waiting they were still unable to provide me with any information what so ever. I emailed them 5 times and got nothing but poor excuses. Quaaout was my top pick for wedding location up until it became clear they don't give a damn about having my business. That's not how I want to be treated when planning such a major life event.

Fantastic service, all the staff were exceptional - from the moment I emailed about room selection for our special occasion all the way through checkout. Room was great, view was great, food was great. Love this place!

A fantastic place to stay. The room was great ad were the grounds and restaurant. A local guide alsk took us for a cultural session which was extremely worthwhile.

My husband and I were at Quaaout Lodge for Aboriginal day as he shot the fireworks show. We had the most fabulous time. The staff, food and service were great. Although the fire alarm went off at 3:30 am we had the best sleeps we have had in a long time. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. We have already recommended this Lodge to our friends and can only hope to have the opportunity to stay here again one day.

Was here for a staff event. It was beautiful and had so many wonderful places to see. The food at the event was amazing and the rooms were quiet and comfy.

Our stay recently was laughable.
Our recent stay at Quaoot was laughable. We booked months in advance for a nice 2 night golf getaway. Now we understand that check in is 4;00 but we had a Teetime at the golf course at noon. We arrived at 11:00 and had a cooler in our car and it was about 30 degrees out so when we got to the resort we ask if it was possible to store our bags and cooler if we could not get into a room. We were faced with blank stares and a comment that check in is 4:00 . After some further explanation they agreed to put our cooler in the office. Not one time did they check the computer to see if a room might be available. No problem...played golf and loved the course.
Then we checked in!
We were put in a ground level floor that faced across to the indoor pool and restaurant. Despite booking a Deluxe King room and our stay was a wedding gift we were not offered anything but an upgrade to a jacuzzi suite at an extra $100 per night.
So before dinner we got a text from a manager welcoming us, and asking how our room was. Below is my response:
To be honest we are not overly impressed.
We booked months ago and seems like we got put in the back room, looking toward the pool.
We were expecting something a little more as when we phoned directly for the reservation, we said our stay here was a wedding gift.

There was no response to accommodate.

Then we went for dinner. I will explain that in my next response to another text from a manager asking how our stay is going and to rate the stay out of 10 ( 10 being great)
Here is my response:

Well things didn't get any better.
We had a dinner reservation last night for 7:00 but got there at 6:00 cause we were hungry. The lounge was loud and crowded because of the basketball game, and the restaurant was quite empty. Despite asking for a window seat we were told the restaurant was full for the evening. We were sat near the loud lounge in the middle row of the restaurant. As the night went on it was obvious the restaurant was not fully reserved and even asked to be moved to a nearby empty window table but were told the restaurant was fully reserved. It never filled up and there were numerous window tables available. Needless to say we were not impressed.
We have reservation tonight and asked if we could reserve a nice window table. Near the end of our dinner the male host came over and apologized and guaranteed we would get a good seat tonight as it was obvious we were not impressed. That was a nice touch. We will see.
The alarm clock went off in our room at about 1:00am and the room stayed very warm despite the air set to 64 degrees.
We keep waiting to be wowed but so far it has been a disappointment.
So in answer to your question we rate it 2-3.

The response was we would be guaranteed a nice window seat and housekeeping would be reminded to check alarms so it did not happen to future guests. They did fix our Air conditioning
At dinner the next night the restaurant manager did come over and obviously knew the situation and was apologetic.
The bottom line is that we felt that our business there was not important, and no effort was made to make our stay memorable
We have waited over a week, expecting someone from Quaoot to reach out but nothing so far.
It is obvious they don t care.
So we have told everyone about our stay, and we will never go back
Only positive was it is a really nice golf course!

Stopped in for lunch. Not sure if it was a shift change but had two different people serving us. Young man took order, saw a female server twice and she presented the bill and I think would collect the tip. Even though the young man did the work and did a great job. Food service was slower than expected as was past the lunch rush. Beautiful view and we will return.

LOVED IT! It was really the best place we have ever stayed at. Everyone was so friendly and kind. We were on our honeymoon and they really made us have one of the best days ever. We were treated like Kings. Everyone needs to try the restaurant there, the food was so amazing I could have eaten there for weeks straight. We never went golfing but the ranges were beautifully kept. I am glad with the overall experience I had there and I want to back again and again.

The rooms were clean and nice. The balconies were angled so every room has a nice view of the lake. The grounds were beautiful with informational signs scattered around telling the history of the people and the area. The meals in the restaurant were influenced by traditional fare and absolutely delicious. I would recommend staying here to anybody. I will definitely be sure to plan a return visit someday and make time to experience some of the additional activities they offer.

Golf course needs a good Marshal. Nice enough layout but pace of play was really slow. Restaurant had good food but took over an hour to deliver our meal. We probably won't return.

Wonderful surprise!! Dinner special was fantastic. BC wine list with a wonderful selection. Seriously special local service made the dinner even better.
Can t wait to get back here.

I participated in the 1 day Ladies Beginner Golf Camp and received a full day of fun and educational skill development to help my golf game. From golf etiquette, how to execute a proper swing to chipping and putting - Nathan Grieve and Jeff Liddle were patient, relaxed and very informative while teaching.

Lunch at Jack Sam s was also included and did not disappoint, the menu has a variety of options with local ingredients and I recommend the Wild and Cultivated Mushrooms on Bannock or the Talking Rock Burger.

Ladies, if you want to gain more confidence when it comes to golf I highly recommend signing up for lessons at Talking Rock!

This place has gone down hill quickly. Have long loved this property but our stay last week was short of meeting expectations. Rooms are becoming extremely outdated. Our sink was. Logged and never drained, and the property in general is in need of an upgrade for the price. Golf course is still first class.

Always a positive experience when visiting the Lodge. Pleasant and professional staff. Thank you all.

Walked the grounds afterward and was very disappointed in the landscaping around the
Facility. It was quite a mess. It is one of my favorite places to stay. And always loved the surroundings.

Stay in the presedent suite the jacuzzi tub faces the lake you can see it when your relaxing in the jacuzzi tub with wine and candles

Its calm,serene,restful and so Cosy and romantic spent honey moon first night here.Good food.They also do nice weekend brunch buffet.

Attended a wedding where the feast included Bannock and bison roast. So tasty. Beautiful scenery of the lake and grounds. Not much is a golfer, but the fairs looked lovely.
